80s/early 90s NWA

Classic Southern Rasslin, at least up through 88 or so. It's not a perfect match, but it seems to be the closest fit. -

But this year, so far, CWA has limited themselves to signing women from ACPW (3 out of the 4 that work for them, so far) and USPW hasn't hired anyone from anywhere yet, to my knowledge.

CWA is set to a Medium women's division, and starts with 15 women workers, USPW is set to Small and starts with 19. I would assume that's why CWA hires some additional workers while USPW doesn't.

5SSW Thread

I decided to add a handful of young lions to the roster, and Spider and Black Diamond were definitely two of my picks. All four of the Hatoyama Dojo seem potentially worthwhile at the very least. Grabbed DupliKate as well, she'll agree to work in Japan as well, as do most of the unemployed women in the US, as far as I can tell. I'm booking as DEVIL, and my tentative plans are to unretire and return as the surprise post-JoshiMania first challenger for a newly-crowned Higa. -
As a native of the area, Kentucky's definitely a tough one. I'd be inclined to put it in the Southeast maybe, or even split it east/west between Southeast and Great Lakes. I've always kinda wished that there was an "Appalachian/Smoky Mountain" region encompassing eastern KY, eastern TN, and southern WV, but I know that would be getting bit too granular for most people's purposes, ha.

I don't think there's a pattern or a set of conditions or anything... they just pop up whenever. (I could be wrong, though.)

I believe it was mentioned at some point in the FAQ thread that certain personality traits (or possibly combinations of traits?) make it more likely for a worker to be "generous" in that way. I think workers can also do the opposite in deliberately sandbagging to make their opponent look worse.

I have a TV Show with a Broadcaster that is Medium in all areas of Japan. My Popularity is mostly upper 40's at the moment and I am running shows rated in the 70's, but the message I keep getting is that I only increased popularity in 1 area. This makes me think there might be a problem and the game is acting as if I don't have a TV show. Any ideas?

What's your Wrestling Industry at? I noticed the exact thing in my current DIASPORA/Thunderverse game, and my Wrestling Industry is very low at 12/F+ at the moment. I'm pretty sure that that's the culprit.

What's going on in your game?

Ric Flair has taken on Johnny Ace as a protege, and has been giving him psychology advice at almost every show. I had a peek in the editor and found that his psychology is 99.7! That puts him higher than any other active wrestler besides Flair(I think). I was not expecting John Laurinaitis to end up with everything needed to be a big star.

Flair has also taken Shane Douglas under his wing, and has been giving him advice on being a babyface. I like to think he's just telling Douglas stuff that Ricky Steamboat and Dusty Rhodes have done during their matches.

Are developing relationships like that something that can be hard-coded into a mod? I'm a few months into a game with The Superfly Effect mod and Flair has also taken both Johnny Ace and Shane Douglas as proteges, which makes me wonder if that's something that always happens with that data. Particularly humorous, though, given the real-life history of Flair and Douglas.. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
