  1. I have read Roman isn’t doing double duty so won’t happen but… Night One: Reigns vs Rock in Tribal Combat - if Rock wins he is now head of the table, and he faces Cody or Seth in Night two to unify (read that is a possibility for SummerSlam so why not do it now). Result: Rock wins thanks to Jey inteference as he lost to Jimmy earlier thanks to Solo. Cody beats Seth. Night Two: Cody finishes the story winning both belts. Roman takes some time off and can return as a baby face down the line.
  2. Found this last night and tried it out the bit about Storylines thought others might find it helpful. https://youtu.be/_d80CWD694Y
  3. Agreed these two are awesome and have imported them into my RIPW and SWF save
  4. If Roman Reigns leaves WWE, which he may have suggested at a house show, what the hell would they do. As other than him they have built no one anywhere near his level of push. Brock is part-time so bringing him back wouldnt be the best, plus we have seen his formulatic match structure... dominate with power and suplexes, take a nut shot, come back with the finish for him or against him. Bring Cena back, is this an option even, he is seen on the same level in regards to popularity and has been the guy for so long in the past it wouldnt take much to settle back in that role, but they need to build new stars. I would like to think they would turn to a Bron Breakker, Gunther and Theory - but knowing WWE they will pick one and everyone else go through 50/50 booking. What are your thoughts on this, is Reigns just messing with people? if he isnt and is going to leave who would you build around? EDIT - turns out he may be just going on a lighter schedule
  5. Good setup for SWF, I like to start off with Starr vs Gilmore. Looking forward to TCW
  6. Wow one promotions shows is a conundrum enough to book for me, also just checked and I supscribe to your YouTube channel
  7. Started as RIPW playing as Cattley, testing out how much I can get away with spend wise before SWF tell me off or fire me. Upped my production slightly higher than needed, pushed for rapid rising merch, went for Written 2 year deals to get in Youngman, DWN and Dreadnought - in the hopes I can use EY and DWN to raise the quality of my shows and maybe them signed to SWF. Running free events 2 per month to get the max popularity and growth and booking wise things are going well Youngman is up to 30 pop from 23 in New England, Arnold and Hellion have White Hot momentum and are at 28 and 29 pop in New England from 27. Biggest rises have been Whole Lotta Marvin up to 17 and Zap Poweson who is at 15, put them in a stable with Zeke as all have insane charisma and they use their entertainment skills each show which usually gets 37-40 rated angles which is great for our size.
  8. You may need a larger PPV and/Or TV network for Canada to improve above 55, I believe that area has a smaller population/wrestling fan base. If he is capped it will be very hard to get above 83
  9. Not in 2020 as neither TCW or BHOTWG have enough exposure in the opposite country. Where as NJPW are better known in the US Would be cool to see a BHOTWG or BCG get a working relationship and some exposure in the US and such shows could happen
  10. I had a Thunderverse save in 2016 that went 2 years in 2016 TEW This version has been 8 months with SWF I usually get spells of being able to play before work take me away from the save and then I want to start a new one.
  11. Yeh that’s a great stable, I always see Remo as a loner but I find myself playing similar saves as SWF might be time to play with different perspectives.
  12. SWF Champion: REMO SWF North American: ZWB SWF Tag Team: THE AWESOMENESS SWF Supreme Cup Winner 2020: JOEY MORGAN SWF Supreme Rumble 2020: ROCKY GOLDEN
  13. I was just going to let them run out and I didn’t know I could end them early, I make that much money now I suppose I should cancel them. I’m one show away from Supreme Challenge
  14. My SWF save as my new mission is to get a 100 match. So January came and went followed the starting storylines as I build towards Supreme Challenge. Golden had a hard fought victory over Scythe who bested him on the previous two Supreme TV episodes with mind games and trickery, how will he react to his first defeat, there was controversy after the go home show as Golden was attacked after the lights went out in his locker room as he and Scythe had been told to not get physical before there match, on the day of the show was brought to the ring by Eisen and Chase who told him their investigation had not concluded but they can’t say that it was Scythe so the match will go ahead - Golden was happy about it Remo overcame the hatred of Valiant and Rogue who are still on their never ending battle to destroy one another, Remo is the #1 contender going into Nothing To Lose... Spencer Spade steps into the spotlight besting a SWF legend in Jungle Lord and jumping from 60 to 63 popularity... Joey Morgan cut a promo about wanting to win another World Championship, which is interrupted by Crippler who loses it as both men are held back in a rage of words, Crippler dropped Morgan with a Tombstone on the stage as their match at WHFO is left in jeopardy - Morgan showed up but was not 100% and lost to a gloating Crippler... Fame & Money retained over Hawaiian Crush via inteference by Justin Sensitive Mickey Lau defeated Brandon James having been pushed around and mocked by him and his valet up until this match, James was furious at the loss calling it a fluke. Des Davids retained over Brown in his final shot at getting back his North American Championship... Eisen and Chase announce the SWF Supreme Cup tournament which ends at Nothing To Lose and the winner receives a future Championship match. Remo revealed it was he who attacked Golden and continued to attack Golden to show his dominance, Scythe had began a path of destruction as he defeated Frederique and Jungle Lord in quick fashion, he promised he would rule all in SWF it is inevitable and he would be the one to stop Golden. At the PPV he did just that when he showed up and Chokeslammed Golden allowing Remo to get the victory. Valiant and Rogue battled to a draw as both men ‘exhausted’ ended up in a double pin as two senior officials counted either man’s shoulders down. Eric Eisen declared both men had impressed him and would face Remo in the main event at Awesome Impact - the triple threat got a 91 at WHFO and this would be the end of their triangle fued. The Supreme Cup is a brainchild of Eric Eisen and Emma Chase and this year was a 16 person tournament to win the Supreme Cup and earn a SWF Championship match down the road. Joey Morgan bested Randy Unleashed, Des Davids, The Crippler to reach the final. Hollywood Bret Starr defeated Atom Smasher, Mickey Lau and Angry Gilmore to reach the final. Joey Morgan got the win and will be able to challenge for the SWF Championship - I had to give him it on Supreme TV in an angle as I forgot to add it in the match. Technically he didn’t receive it at the PPV anyway as Crippler destroyed the trophy and Morgan in a fit of rage. Mickey Lau was cheated out of the tournament by Brandon James who wanted a rematch as he felt his fast roll up defeat at WHFO and then first round tournament defeat via a lucky shot kick which seemingly KOd him were pure flukes, however he was again KOd by the martial arts strike at the PPV The Awesomeness won the SWF Tag Team titles in a triple threat match pinning Trescarde. Hawaiian Crush were granted a rematch and The Awesomeness had beaten them on Supreme TV so we’re also added to the match but the tag team veterans managed to become two time tag champs on the night. ZWB became #1 contender at WHFO in a fatal four way and was building momentum until a belt shot to the head gave him the DQ victory but Davids retains on this occasion Steven Parker and Mainstream Hernandez defeated The Pain Alliance as they look to build towards a tag team title opportunity, they go by the mainstream stars. After losing in singles matches and attacked by The Pain Alliance who felt two losers were taking up TV time that they deserved, Parker and Hernandez agreed to team up to see if they could build momentum and rise up the SWF ranks, and a victory here helped them do just that. Remo defeated Valiant and Rogue to retain the SWF Championship and was approached by Morgan who will challenge him at The World Is Watching. Remo is up to 97 popularity and Morgan is at 81 currently so will get a good push over the next few TV shows. Rocky Golden got his revenge on Scythe in another closely contested brawl and he can now set his sights on retaining the SWF Championship. Even in defeat Scythe is upto 80 popularity, Golden is at 92 having climbed back up after the loss to Remo The Dallas Cowboys defeat Mainstream Sensations (Parker and Hernandez) as they bolster there chances at the SWF Tag Team titles Joey Morgan ended his feud with Crippler defeating him in an I Quit match, after destroying his trophy and attacking him Morgan went through a gimmick change which was adequate to show a more bad ass side to himself (I am seeing a more Mox like attitude) and after a back and forth Crippler ended up cuffed to the ropes and took some kendo shots and didn’t quit so Morgan brought out a bar wire bat and before his first swing Crippler quit. Crippler dropped to 77 popularity which is still great as he is in time decline he will be putting over younger stars. Hollywood Bret Starr defeated Angry Gilmore clean after a tainted win during the Supreme Cup and Gilmore winning the first match at WHFO. Starr showed he isn’t all talk and earned Gilmore respect despite Starr still being a smarmy heel. ZWB defeated Brandon James and Des Davids to win the SWF North American title, he pinned James who bullied his way into the match which didn’t sit well with Davids who was kind of a tweener in this story. Davids dropped to 72, ZWB went to 73 and James sits at 71. Mickey Lau continued his impressive run beating Randy Unleashed which was the main reason Unleashed began targeting him in promos as his momentum was way down and Lau’s was sky high. Both men wanting to get into the SWF championship contention. The Awesomeness retained their SWF Tag Team titles in a three way ladder match against Hawaiian Crush and Fame and Money. Crush and F&M both won contendership 3 ways leading to them facing over the past 4 weeks of TV leading to them facing each other, The Awesomeness caused a double DQ thinking they would have would have no challengers except Eisen and Chase made it a triple threat ladder match. Remo retained having to use the SWF championship to put away Joey Morgan behind the referees back. Randy Unleashed had been on a poor run as of late but managed to best Angry Gilmore on this occasion, both men had some great rated promos on the build up. Atom Smasher had a baby face turn early on in the save and is now in a story with Brandon James but he was no match for the wrecking machine. ZWB retained against the newly signed Trent Shaffer and Spencer Spade. ZWB pinned Shaffer who is a heel, he was the mystery man added by Eisen and Chase but ZWB retains the SWF North American title Hollywood Bret Starr defeated Des Davids as he continues his rise to the top, Starr called Davids a loser after he lost his title as he was reshuffling his group, Huntingdon is now a singles focused wrestler and Sensitive is given his shot teaming with Trescarde. Huntingdon has been getting high 90 promos and his pop is at 71, Monty is up to 66 but will stick to the tag division helping Sensitive rise up. The Crippler is now helping Lau get to that next level as he is losing it mentally as he becomes more and more of a loose cannon as he can’t get to the prize he wants so bad the SWF Championship. Lau is on fire and is being talked about as one of the best in line for a shot. Crippler begins to focus his promos and attacks on him and even costs him a title match against Remo that is my highest rated match so far. Lau is upto 84 pop and Crippler is still at 78 Rocky Golden won the Supreme Rumble beating 30 other superstars eliminating Scythe at the end, Scythe had the most eliminations, Lau was the iron man and Spade and Lau were the final 4 with Golden and Scythe. Rogue and Valiant were eliminated by Scythe who seems to have recruited Rogue, Bekowski and Greed to his Deadly Sinners faction - Rogue is a shell of himself showing little sign of a personality as if he has sold his soul - in reality he has been on a losing streak and is being manipulated and beaten when he loses by Scythe who is telling his group it’s all for the greater good. Signed Greg Gauge and am building up Ernest Youngman so these two could put on some classics if I can get there popularity high enough.
  15. I used to do that and it adds a loss and negative effect on your workers momentum. If you read the handbook your lower workers can go a few A shows without being used before they will get upset and even your top guys can go one or two. So I do a mixture of multi man, tag and singles matches including borrowed and free agent guys to give wins to lower carders.
  16. Nice to see Crippler get a title reign Shame about the hype video going to long I think 4 minutes is the cut off before they tank I always put two storyline matches with midcarders / well known and lower guys on the card one about 3rd match in and one before the the last two matches it seems to bring the crowd down enough so the last two matches get above 85 ratings. Going off starting story’s Jungle vs Spade and Davids vs Brown are good to slot in there. Stops crowd from burning out. Looking forward to Supreme Tv
  17. Another good show, Love the no nonsense Remo and Rogue segment, just like in real life heels with different ideals shouldn’t get on, same with good guys.
  18. I was thinking of doing/testing a play through as Eric Eisen, I get the feeling he is a bit of a shady character, would do dirty tricks, wouldn’t care as much if people weren’t happy who weren’t making SWF money, would go against the goals as surely you wouldn’t get fired by your own brother… well I want to find out. Anyone else played through as a ruthless, scheming owner or booker before?
  19. Adding the wrong person into segments Accidentally pressing run show before I have added pre-show stuff Accidentally clicking the X when I have booked a show without saving before hand so I have to re-book everything
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lr10540" data-cite="lr10540" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="54167" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I don't know of specific examples that they're mentioning and I rarely play the default data, but you can just look at all the guys over 40 at the top of the card for SWF specifically and USPW to a lesser extent. It wouldn't be hard to imagine that in a couple years, the top of the cards look pretty different. SWF alone has lost Bruce, Faith and Vengeance/DeBones to retirement already. USPW has Baine as an occasional wrestler already, Enygma is 46 I believe, Bruce The Giant is gone, T-Rex has slid down to midcard, Justice is nearly 50, I don't remember what Caulfields status is, but he's over 40 I believe, Force is 40+ as well as Money. The top of the companies is just old at this point and the undercard hasn't really been developed to replace them aside from Scythe for SWF. TCW is less of an issue in this respect with AA and Wolf, but aside from that, they don't have much at the top to begin with. Scout and Guide (whatever their new gimmicks are) are past 40. Minnesota and Rocky left to SWF. Cornell to 21CW. <p> </p><p> I think for those of us who have enjoyed the CV for a while are more disappointed with how the world has been shaped around the big 3 and how little the top of the card has changed while the midcard has largely remained stagnant. As I recall, the same top guys in 2013 and largely the same top guys in 2020, just with different companies. On the bright side, 2020 has a lot of new talent but they're all around 20 to 25 so it feels like a gap in the game world. That combined with some indy darlings like Youngman not being touched has left some with sour grapes. On the brightside, at least it shows we're attached to the characters.</p><p> </p><p> All that said, that's why I love the 97 CV. Im too attached to these guys after almost a decade of playing with them to give them up just yet. That and you can shape the world how you think it "should" be if you enjoy long term saves.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In a way that’s why I like playing as SWF you have to make your own stars, Scythe, Spade, Starr, Smasher, ZWB and Hernandez are all waiting to rise up so it’s the challenge you face.</p><p> </p><p> USPW can get the ratings they need with monsters and behemoths because of their product. But they also have guys ready for you to push.</p>

We have generational talents that people know about who are booked in the indie companies but only their one home fed and nowhere else<p> </p><p> Like are you telling me Ernest Youngman is this world class wrestler who isn’t in demand all over the country? It doesn’t really make the big stars on that level feel like it.</p><p> </p><p> In general though, a lot more roster turnover. There’s no way somebody being at the bottom of the card for a decade straight should be the norm. Eventually they get more ambitious or the promotion stops seeing a use for them. There are a large number of bottom feeders that would be great to freshen up the rest of the game world.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ernest Youngman always rises to the top in the first 3 years of my game usually in TCW but yeh once PSW get on Wrestleworld they rise up to medium and his pop grows so much the big companies take note.</p><p> </p><p> Bryan Danielson sat in ROH longer than that before WWE came looking.</p><p> </p><p> I do agree that with competition people are more likely to want to change when they are stagnant for so many years. In the past when WWE was the only game in town you found loads just sitting there The Colons, JTG spring to mind but with TCW, USPW and SWF there should be more movement. I remember this being raised in past Cornellverse threads and someone who is involved with the game saying in modern wrestling not much happens but that was when WWE were unopposed now there is AEW look at all the movement and in the CVerse there are 3 big companies.</p><p> </p><p> Don’t get me wrong I still enjoy the Cornellverse I have been playing as loads of different companies recently setting myself goals and I really do enjoy it.</p><p> </p><p> I would like all pics to be of the same render and loads of new characters starting and to debut as like people have pointed out our favourites are all getting on now it’s time for some to leave the database and either sit in a hall of fame section and others less relevant or who add nothing behind the scenes to go as sad as that sounds.</p><p> </p><p> Feels like we are at the Star Wars cross over where all the new characters need to step up</p>
