  1. I really can't see them having Otis as WWE Champion. I'd be all for it; I like ti when they take a bit of a risk and go a bit leftfield, but really, I'd be surprised if they put it on Otis. More likely, I think the MiTB briefcase will be used as prop in the Otis/Mandy love story. I think that somewhere down the line, we get to a point where Otis is feuding with someone and it ends up where Otis has to choose Mandy or the MiTB case. If he chooses Mandy, whoever he's feuding with gets the case. Of course, he choose Mandy and then she turns on him and aligns herself with whoever got the case.
  2. <p>Thinking of starting a stable of all black workers in my SWF save, led by Des Davids. I've signed Bullseye. Mobstar, Gravedigga & Waylon Walls, and might call up Avalanche. </p><p> </p><p> Davids will claim that since Steve Frehley left for USPW, the oppurtunities for black wrestlers have been few. Obviously, this is BS because Remo was World Champion (he won't be by the time I go with this) but it will all play into the groups heel tendencies. By this point, I think Remo will be having a run as a face and they'll be making a play for him to join them.</p><p> </p><p> BUT, what I am really struggling with is a name for the group. Any ideas anyone?</p>
  3. Think I probably will stil with 2016 for a couple of months at least. I've got an SWF game I am enjoying with some long-term plans for it and just don't feel ready to jump to 2020 just yet.
  4. Early thoughts: There seem to be quite a lot of new workers, more than the jump from 2010 to 2016 if I recall. It's a good thing. Golden ending up in SWF is no huge surprise. Like the history with Bruce; that is very cool. Scythe retiring Skull DeBones was a shock, but seeing Son of Vengeance in development is pretty cool. The Syndicate are back, nice. Are Nemesis & Sam Strong both dead? Can't find them in the list of workers. Didn't read about any deaths in anyone else's bio and didn't look at the database yet. CWA, awesome!
  5. Trying to get Oliver Kobb over in SWF. The idea came to me when I started a new game last week and was looking over the roster. My plan is to insert Kobb into the feud between Bruce and Crippler. On the first show, Kobb is scheduled to face Crippler. Bruce gives Kobb a bit of a pep talk backstage. Crippler beats Kobb and continues to beat him down post-match, leading to Bruce making the save. The following week, as retribution of sorts, Kobb costs Crippler a match against Angry Gilmore. Backstage, a furious Crippler attacks Jack Bruce. At When Hell Freezes Over, Crippler jumps Bruce during his ring entrance, softening him up for their match. Crippler looks set to win when Kobb comes out and causes the distraction. From here, the idea is to have Kobb keep hanging around with Bruce. The Bruce/Crippler feud will continue but I'll be crossing it over with other feuds. First, the World Title feud which, and then a re-ignited feud between Angry Gilmore and Eric Eisen. Eric will be rolling with some heavies, looking to cause havock in the SWF. It will probably be Eisen, Primus Allen, Spencer Spade & Gargantuan. I'm hoping that having Kobb in high rated angles with Main Eventers and Menacers, he'll get over. Long-term, the plan will be for Kobb to turn on Bruce during Bruce's final chance at the SWF World Heavyweight Title, probably at Supreme Challenge 2017. I see Bruce being at some sort of disadvantage when Kobb hits the ring with a baseball bat, ready to even the score for his buddy. But then he turns on Bruce, unleasing a sickening beatdown, leaving him bruised and battered. That'll lead to a Bruce/Kobb feud where Kobb will prevail, sending Bruce packing and into retirement, and hopefully making a star out of Killer Kobb (that'll be his new name)
  6. I really hope we're going to be able to go back and see the details of a show. What I mean is, if I run a show, then play for a few more weeks, I'd like to be able to go to the Show History and not only see the result, but, if I double-click on a segment (match or angle) I want to be able to see the details (the match notes, how long the match lasted, road agent notes, etc)
  7. I didn't read the whole thread yet so I don't know if it's been posted but I'd love it if when I was looking at my show history, I could click on an angle or match and see the details that I entered when setting up the angle or match via the booking screen.
  8. <p>It's 2004. Bret Hart has been sat at home since he retired. Given some time to stew, he's decided that his new aim in life is to take down Vince McMahon and the WWE.</p><p> </p><p> So, Bret takes $500,000 of his own cash and decides to open Global Force Wrestling (I know, right?)</p><p> </p><p> GFW is a promotion where perf & pop are equal. It's setup pretty similar to TCW except I've got Cult & Realism upped to Medium. In my head, I want them to be a bit like ECW where they have a mixture of great workers that the fans will react to, but I don't want them crapping all over GFW if I decide to push someone who isn't nesceserily the best worker but is heaps popular.</p><p> </p><p> I'm running 2 shows a month, GFW Amped & GFW Fully Loaded. Abyss is the first guy I'm pushing. He won the the Global Title @ my first show in a 4-Way Match vs CM Punk, Samoa Joe & AJ Styles. It was meant to be a 5-Way with the other man being Jeff Hardy but he was brutally attacked as he made his way to the ring by a "fan" (more on that later)</p><p> </p><p> Anyway, yeah, Abyss. He won the title thanks to some outside interference from Necro Butcher. I plan on Abyss, Butcher & Brodie Lee being in stable where they are just psychos hell bent on causing pain and suffering for no good reason other than the fact that they're psychos. My main feud for the first couple of months is gonna be Abyss vs CM Punk, with Punk being backed up by his buddies Ace Steel & Colt Cabana.</p><p> </p><p> Elsewhere, Bryan Danielson is feuding with Austin Aries. On my first show, Aries was bitching to Bret Hart backstage about not being put in the 5-Way title match, claiming he is the best that GFW and the best in the world. Danielson interupted and told Aries to put his money where his mouth was, and Bret setup a match. In the match, Danielson was about to win after locking in the Cattle Mutliation only for Matt Sydal & Roderick Strong to attack. Aries joined in and they beat Danielson to a pulp. Aries cut a quick promo announcing that they were the best in the business; that they were Generation Next. This actually ties in with another feud...</p><p> </p><p> Remeber Jeff Hardy getting beaten down by a "fan"? Well, that fan is actually Eddie Kingston who is also part of Generation Next, just nobody knows it yet. His reason for attacking Hardy is because he was given a title shot just because he came from the big leagues. In the game, I actually have the feud setup as Danielson & Hardy vs Generation Next. I'll also be adding Jack Evans to Generation Next a little further down the line before Danielson & Hardy get people like Chris Hero & Shinsuke Nakamura on-side.</p><p> </p><p> Styles & Joe are also going to be feuding but I'm still figuring out the details. Oh, then there's El Generico & Kevin Steen. Steen tried to get himself in the GFW Global Title match but Bret said no. When Steen started mouthing off, Bret booked him vs Necro Butcher (before his turn) and Butcher squashed Steen inside 5 minutes. Later in the night, El Generico picked up a win over Drew Galloway. Steen, jealous of his friends early success, attacked El Generico post match and powerbombed him onto the side of the ring (sound farmiliar?) Over the course of a few shows, Steen will continue to attack El Generico and eventually get suspended. El Generico will beg Bret to put him in a match with Steen. Bret agrees but then Steen says he'll only agree to it if 1) he is reinstated regardless of the outcome and 2) he gets a title shot if he wins. Bret is reluctant but El Generico will be so desparate to face Steen, he will agree.</p><p> </p><p> And finally, the tag-teams. I have The Havana Pitbulls & LAX on the heel side of things, with Steel & Cabana and The English Lions (Nigel McGuinness & Doug Williams) as the babyface teams. I think The Havana Pitbulls will be my first GFW Global Tag Champs.</p><p> </p><p> So yeah, that's where I'm at. Hope you enjoyed the read.</p>

In fact, I opened my post by telling you I thought the mod was great.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe you should've taken my post on board as feedback. How do I know that you haven't accidentally forgotten to add some workers, and that actually, you want feedback to make sure the mod is as complete as possible to cater to everyone's way of playing (such as creating a company of hasbeens/legends that isn't TNA)</p>
  10. Great mod but I'm struggling to find Vader, Sid Viscous or Ultimate Warrior anywhere? They're not in this mod?
  11. Being in the UK, if the WWE Network did next day RAW & SmackDown then I'd re-subscribe in a heartbeat.
