  1. It's after Night 2, so yeah, avoid for now. Though this gives me a good opportunity to mention I've got it set up so that Wrestlemania is still taking place in the first week of April and is numbered as 36, to stop the AI from holding a new April event with a random name.

So just to clarify, what you're saying is the WWE championships in the database are up to date as of post-WrestleMania (in real life), but as it stands, the AI will still put on (another) WrestleMania 36 at the end of Week 1?

  2. <p>I was perusing through the old patch notes and saw this:</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Added remote assistance code "shakeitup" to allow the secret feature to be enabled<p> Added remote assistance code "nosurprises" to disable the secret feature</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's obvious what "nosurpises" does, but does "shakeitup" trigger the secret event (I know the secret event is very rare, does this code guarantee it will happen)? Or is "shakeitup" just the default?</p>

Will the goal fail if I dont resign the guy? Will it just negate? What happens?</div></blockquote><p> You fail the goal. The idea is if the owner thinks highly enough of the guy that he wants you to get him over, logically he'd also want you to re-sign him, as well. The Owner AI may even step in and renew the contract itself if you try to let them go.</p>

  6. Awesome. I started watching wrestling (well, just WWF) in February 1999 when I was a kid, so I have a ton of nostalgia for the whole '99 to early 2000s era.

I've always been interested in what WWF would have been like if Steve Austin didn't get injured in 1999 (which led to The Rock stepping up as the next big Babyface in 2000). Personally, I think fans would have gotten sick of Austin's gimmick and constant wins, but that's just me.

For realism's sake, you could make sure The Giant's WCW deal expires after January '99 (technically his last appearance was February 8, 1999), and Chris Jericho's WCW deal expires in Summer 1999. The exact date of Jericho's contract expiring is iffy because they kept him stuck to house shows. According to Wikipedia, he signed with WWF on June 30, 1999, but his last WCW appearance was July 21, and he debuted on Raw on August 9.

Again, just a suggestion for realism's sake. Giant and Jericho jumping to WWF were pretty big turning points in the Monday Night War.
