1.
I just randomly stumbled into a pretty good concept for my last PPV: the Call of the Void match.

Basically it's a spin on the Prisonner's dilemma, so the Evolve title is vacant, the team of Pete Dunne and Jay White are my top 2 superstars, they're the tag team champs and have been for 10 months, and they're in a bit of a feud with the GM Chris Jericho (I book him in angles giving them tough matches etc) and White was signed by New Japan so he's on his way out. So Jericho put them in what I called a Call of the Void match to put a bit of a spark between them, where they can either leave the ring (which I had as a Countout) and be stripped of the tag title, or go for broke and try to beat the other, and the winner would be crowned the new Evolve champion, and the loser would be fired (which wink wink would be my kayfabe way of writing off White).

WHY? WHAT?

Basically, Adam Cole was in a feud with Marty Scurll for the title, and got a small injury (broken nose) in a match against Sami Callihan (it was a freak injury, but in kayfabe, Sami's the one who injured him). I was afraid it was gonna impact his performance, so I turned the storyline into something like Marty Scurll having used Callihan as a hired gun to injure Cole before their title match, and as I was booking Cole and Ricochet as buddies, Ricochet suggested that he fight on behalf of Adam Cole so he doesn't have to relinquish the title, The Rock booked them in a 2v2 for the title. And I booked Cole to be a late addition to the match, to have it start as a handicap match, and have Cole be this never say die babyface who still wants to wrestle even if he's injured.

Just booked my best show to date with the focus put on the younger guys. ROH have a bright future.

 4.
So Jay Lethal has been the figurehead of my company for 2 and a half years now, he's having a good impact on the business, but ever since I only gave him 50% of a pay rise request, his morale is in the toilet ('very angry'). And giving him bonuses doesn't seem to change anything.

Will he be happier if I just keep booking him to win ? Should I change my figurehead before he asks for a release request ?

Maybe since Paul Heyman is involved it could be The Next Big Things. Or maybe Honor Rising to take a page out of their current show names.

Honor Rising is perfect, thanks buddy.

 9.
So I'm in a very interesting period to book in my ROH game, this is the most fun I've had since I started this save.

As a backstory, I started with Sinclair Inc Group as my owners, who happen to own Comet TV, so I'm basically tied to a 'Very Small' sized channel with no other way to air in the US, which is dramatically slowing down my rise in Importance and Popularity.

So long story short, in 2017, I got to cult level and was finally able to give written contracts to my main guys. However, I was in a difficult financial period, so I had to only give them 3-year long contracts so I wouldn't be having that big of a wage bill in the long run.

Fast forward to now in 2020, and most of my top guys' (Go Shiozaki, EC3, the Bucks, Roderick Strong, Davey Richards ... all nearing the 90 pop) contracts are up, so WWE and TNA have started a bidding war with me for them. They already signed some of my top guys in the past (ZSJ, Kenny Omega, Rocky Romero ...) in the past, so I started giving them big money contracts with hiring veto and minimum pushes and all that good stuff. So as I'm headed to National level pretty soon, I'm afraid I'm gonna end up with a WCW-like lockerroom. But I've always been pretty safe in that regard (Backstage rating has been 100% for a few months straight now) so I guess I'll be fine. So far, they took EC3, Go, Drew Galloway, and Matt Jackson.

However, this rivalry I have with WWE is making me pull out all the stops when it comes to building new stars. My main event scene had been plateauing for a year or two before the contracts war, but having guys leave the company turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Galloway's departure helped me build Colby Corino by giving him wins over Drew during his last month with us, and now Colby is 24 and has 80 popularity in America and Canada while he was a lower midcarder before that. Same with Dean Brady and Davey Richards, who had a feud while I was still negociating with Davey, whom I turned out to keep, but he was nearing his 40's so it's a good thing he passed his popularity to a 24 year old chap.

So all in all, I think I'm gonna cap my level at cult while I secure a good 70 of Importance in America so I don't fall back as soon as I'm promoted, and when I'm done doing that, I'll start digging WWE's hole. This is gonna be a fun few IG years I have ahead of me.

 10.
I'm looking for a name for an Evolution-esque stable going on in 2020, Cody Rhodes (the leader and the figure head of ROH), Colby Corino (Cody's protege in my save, 24 years old, the future of ROH if I manage to extend his contract next month), Dean Brady (the young guy, the Randy Orton of the stable, same as Colby, 24 and a lot of potential), Zack Gibson (kind of the wildcard of the group, I book him as the devoted lackey who's willing to take on anyone to protect the stable), and Paul Heyman (the Ric Flair I guess).

That basically consists of Cody and Paul leading the next generation of ROH superstars to the top, so I guess something about that would be good.

 15. Random little question: on the Real Life mod I'm using, basically all the behaviour traits check out for ever wrestler, but it describes Batista as an absolute asshole. Is there any truth to this ? Was he a negative influence backstage ?
 16. Is a child company less effective at developping workers if it has a different product than its parent company ? I noticed that match quality in NXT was much higher when I imported Dragon Gate's product, but I reverted it back to WWE's, in case they need to get used to the parent company's product to be better workers.
 17. Also, does airing an event on TV as well as on PPV affect your PPV buyrate ?
 18.
Is there any downside to running more than one event every month ?

I needed some money so I ran a second PPV in the same month, and I ended up earning 300k dollars compared to months where I only ran one. Is there a negative effect of running too many events ? And where would you draw the line between "enough" and "too many" ?

 23.
I'm playing as ROH, I'm in January of 2019. 74 for prestige, 87 for momentum.

My top guys (that I signed for 6 years, at around 20k $ per month each) are Chris Sabin, Go Shiozaki, Jay Lethal, Kofi Kingston, Adam Cole (faces); Marty Scurll, Cody Rhodes, Yujiro Takahashi, Roderick Strong, and David Hart Smith.

I'm struggling financially since I lost a lawsuit against Batista that cost me 780.000 dollars and since my "In Demand" PPV deal ended and Sinclair Group won't let me negociate a new deal, but my shows are consistantly good (I'm always around a 90 rating), so it's getting there.

Here's my best show so far.

<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_11/p9K8iQq.jpg.f3901e5a718f0659116ad1b80be69fe9.jpg" data-fileid="3244" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3244" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="p9K8iQq.thumb.jpg.ba7fb3c3f146b606c938a40205f2c211.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2022_08/p9K8iQq.thumb.jpg.ba7fb3c3f146b606c938a40205f2c211.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
