I always compare Aaron Andrews to Hiroshi Tanahashi when I'm playing TCW. They have similar finishers, they both have Ace nicknames , and they're both the key guys during a big companies downturn.

This is a question I've had for years (Since the game out.) How do you get TCW to not run every show in the southeast? They're a national brand, there has to be a way to get them to go from region to region like a normal company.

I didn't sign him because he has thirty overness in the U.S. It's worse because Bryan Vessey is my second main road agent behind Robert Oxford. I thought for sure he was going to go back to CWA. I'm really curious as to how this will turn out due to his lack of overness in the U.S.

Fight odds are one of the reasons why I'd love a WMMA6. A lot of times their completely illogical like if you sign someone from Alpha One with unknown popularity in the U.S, They'll be a +1000 favorite against mid-level to high level GAMMA fighters which seems unrealistic to me. Age and damage also don't seem to be factors. James Foster will be a +900 against a couple of guys even though he's in his mid-to-late thirties which seems crazy to me. Yes, He's an incredibly dominant champion but so was Anderson Silva or Amanda Nunes. Time is the one undefeated enemy in combat sports. Foster usually loses in my saves which makes sense but the odds never reflect that fact.

Is this a bug? I'm playing a RTG save and instead of gaining popularity in the Mid-South (my home region and this place where all my shows have been run.) I'm getting popularity in seemingly random regions instead. I thought I might just be getting spillover region pop but the Great Lakes and the Mid-Atlantic aren't spillover regions for the Mid-South. It's frustrating because I'm only gaining popularity in places where it's meaningless for me to grow essentially.

Not in 2020 because he's a bit older but Remmy Skye.....So many failed drug test.

I know that every wrestler doesn't have a real world counterpart. It's just how I see them. I also see the Kenny Omega comparisons as well.

Youtube needs more cornellverse saves. There's a ton of youtube series but they're all AEW/TNA/WWE. It feels the same as 2016 in a lot of ways except for AEW.

This is what I was going to say. I don't understand people who hate secondary titles or think they're worthless. Most storylines for the world title are going to be between two top guys. Ideally, your company is going to have a lot more then two main eventers on the roster so you need secondary belts to give them something to do. Right now in my TCW save, Jay Chord has the world title while Ernest Youngman and Aaron Andrews are feuding for the TV title (which has essentially become the intercontinental title in my TCW.)

Am I the only one that finds the whole "creepy men on social media" news story totally unnecessary? Everyone acts kind of mean on social media, I don't know why this issue has to be gendered. If you want to include it in the game, fine. I'd question what it's suppose to add in the first place but the fact it seems to only exist to be gratuitously mean towards men makes it worse.

Is that WOTI? Because it's weird that Buddy Rogers is retiring in 2010 when he died in 1992.

Stef Lomb is the dumbest person I've ever seen. This man had an absolute war for five rounds and then held onto the choke for too long which meant that he got an eighteen month suspension from the commission. And I had to strip him of the title because he obviously can't defend the title while he's suspended. This is worse then the multiple champion drug test failures I've had in my save. I can't handle how dumb this man is.

The GOAT has finally been slain. It took Helio four times but he finally did it.

Third. The other thing I'd like to see is rankings updated. There's a lot of times where a guy will lose a fight to another guy but either stay in the same position they were before the fight started or only move down a spot. I know it's not realistic to switch Number Eight with Number Two after one fight but it's also weird to see someone coming off a loss as number one contender. I have tons of trilogies in my decade long GAMMA playthrough becuase of how stagnat the rankings are. It's also weird when guys come in from say BCF or SIGMA on eight fight win streaks and shoot to the top of the rankings. They're obviously decent but BCF and SIGMA are nowhere near GAMMA's level in my playthrough. I've poached multiple champs from those two orgs that have lost three or more fights in GAMMA.

Who cares about things like innocent until proven guilty and proof? Just destroy people's lives and reputations on baseless accusations at the top of a hat because it's the cool new thing to do. This stuff makes me sick.

I'm a Veteran of TEW and WMMA but I've never seen a story sadder the story of James Foster in my current GAMMA Save. He fought Rav Kapur in May 2003 and lost his heavyweight title. After the fight, he failed a drug test for TRT and got suspended for a year. That was fine, it wasn't ideal but I could deal with it. Now I put him in a fight against Terron Cabal in November '04 because I signed a bunch of Alpha-1 guys and if this is Foster's last fight then he should go out fighting another legend. That didn't happen however because two weeks before his fight he got caught with prostitutes and now he's out for another 9 freakin' month. The dude completely destroyed his own career in back to back years. He went from being an MMA Legend and Icon to being an absolute pariah in the sport. I'd say he's the WMMA version of Jon Jones but at least Jon Jones was in his early thirties when he ruined his career, Foster has no chance of turning this around because he's 37 and he's going to be 38 by the time he gets to fight again.

I like how the person complaining about "Systemic sexism" in a text-based wrestling sim is the one telling other people to grow up. That's some good irony.

I keep them open because I think the C-Verse needs at least 1 Joshi fed. I, unfortunately, had to fire Ogiwara because she had a really low business skill so I replaced her with Buddy Garner and now they've got 40 grand in the bank as of June. I also signed Black Diamond, Allie Perks, and Kate Lilly. Kate Lilly has been absolutely tearing it up down there so I'm going to sign Debbie Rose to join her. I also sent Yayoi Kurmochi, Spider Isako, Rina Kasahara, and Kaori Takenouchi down to help them out. The really weird thing about 5SSW is that they don't have a dojo. It seems weird for a Joshi fed to not have a dojo to me. Obviously they went bankrupt so they didn't have a lot of money to start with but they've been in business since 1985. Usually a Japanese Wrestling company in business that long would have a dojo. Even FMW had a dojo.

That's not actually what happened though. Japan has had a reputation for clean finishes because of the UWF. Akira Maeda, Nobuhiko Takada, and Satoru Sayama left New Japan to form a company called the UWF and the UWF was a shoot style promotion. It presented wrestling as legitimate, it was basically Bloodsport before Bloodsport. Well, the UWF in the 80s started out drawing NJPW and AJPW and one of the reasons for that was because of the lack of dirty finishes in the UWF. The UWF was a start-up company outdrawing the industry titans and so in order to compete with that, AJPW and NJPW abandoned screwjob finishes because they were afraid that if they kept doing them all of their fans would just leave for the UWF. Eventually, the UWF would collapse because of the egos of the three men involved but then it would return as UWFI which would also collapse/turn into Pride FC. That's actually why dirty finishes are so rare in Japan. Yes, AJPW had dirty finishes in the 80s and they were very similar to JCP during that time period but the UWF revolutionized the way wrestling is run in Japan and a lot of things that they invented have been adapted by successor promotions.
