Click on the titles page on your child company, and one of the options is move title (Create title, Edit title, retire title, Alter Champion, Vacate title, move title). It will give you the choice of which of your companies you'd like to move it to.

Avalance Takano is a guy you can most likely keep beyond the 2 year excursion. I've never had an issue re-signing him after the initial contract. And he's a guy I like to push personally.
