First of all, great work as always, thank you. I've been on a TEW hiatus after booking like crazy when the game came out and this is just the thing to bring me back in.
I'm still getting caught up with all the changes. One thing I noticed is that the Hart family was renamed the Bell family, which is cool! I did notice that Jarid Bell and Nick Bell's tag team is still named "The Hart Breakers." Not a criticism, just a heads up if you wanted to rename them.
Again, thank you for this!
Edit: Small error in Tyshawn Martial's bio, it has his old last name of Kidd in the second paragraph.

I checked '13 and '16 and they do not have a cannon finisher in either of those.

No worries! I looked up a bunch a long time ago and most I stuck with, but I had canoned some. Like Christian Faith’s Leap Of Faith is supposed to be a spectacular turnbuckle splash, but I’ve always pictured it as a top rope splash, or even encore drop.

Author Note: I've been kicking this idea around for a while and finally booked a couple shows in this save. I'm going to try to book some and get a lot written out before I commit to actually doing a dynasty. I clearly draw a lot of inspiration from The Historian's diaries, and I'll feature some of the same characters, but I hope you'll see it's with a different perspective. With that said:
It was a gorgeous day in Corbin, Kentucky: the clouds covered the sun just enough to keep it cool, but not so much where you’d call it gloomy. He never really liked the town where Sally grew up, but the weather was the same every time they visited. As he walked the aisles of the local Food Mart, a familiar voice from his past called up behind him…
“Pete? Ol’ Pete Hall? How the hell are ya?”
He couldn’t believe it. It was Hank Deverell, his old buddy from high school back in Midland, and who he presumed was his teenage son.
"Hank? What are you doing here?”
“I live here! Moved out here for a construction job, met the wife, settled down and had Zippy here and made ourselves a life! I could ask you the same question though.”
“Sally’s relatives live here, and we come out every Thanksgiving. This year I burned the turkey, so here I am.”
“So what you been up to since retiring? My boy Zippy here followed you growing up. Broke his heart to see his hero retire. You know, he’s training to get in the ring himself.”
Pete did not like this question. Every time someone asked him what he’s been up to, he had to come up with something less pathetic than, “Going through two fifths of Jack and a can of Skoal a day watching old wrestling highlight tapes and thinking about days gone by.”
So, before even thinking, he blurted out, “Yeah I been getting the itch again. Dunno if I’ll ever get rid of it completely. Been thinkin’ bout runnin’ a few local shows around the old stomping grounds.”
Wait… what? Why did he say that? He had no such plans.
“A few local shows eh? The Pistol Pete I knew never would’ve stopped at a few local shows. Sounds like you got somethin’ big planned. I know my boy would love to get in there and look up at the lights to learn some from the great Pistol Pete Hall, ain’t that right, Zip?”
“Oh yes sir, we been working real hard. I may not ever be as big as you were Mr. Hall, but when I’m out there I fight like I’m ten foot tall.”
Pete took another look at Zippy. He was a bit scrawny, but he had a good frame, could probably hold another 50 pounds or so. Clearly he wasn’t shy. He sized the young Corbin native up once again before looking him in the eye and asking, “What’s your finish?”
“I hit ‘em with the prettiest spinning bulldog you ever seen.”
Pete stared for another five seconds or so, then bust out laughing, “Sorry kid, you sold it like hell but a spinning bulldog? We gotta work on that. And we will, Hank,” Pete turned to his old friend, “I promise.”
With those words, Pete walked away to finish his Thanksgiving shop, but he couldn’t stop thinking about why he promised to do something he had no intention of doing. Pistol Pete was a lot of things, but a liar wasn’t one of them. Now he had a promise to keep, and a phone call to make...

I believe the canon is actually that the New York Minute is a Famouser.

Edit: While I’m here, anybody got a free pictures folder they’ve put together? I’ve been so good at keeping my renders up to date that I’ve key free pictures fall by the wayside.

Running a save with Rip Chord as booker of HCG. I gave them a two year commitment, and may start my own company if I get that far. RPing a brilliant old school booker who has to book things a 16-year-old loves, like the cruiserweight division and hardcore division.
Anyway... Just booked the go-home to MiW and Sam Strong invented a new catchphrase. Strong OP pls nerf.

In the first year of my LAW local to global I paired up a face Zippy Deverell & Felipe Caballero. Caballero would cut a fiery promo in Spanish, then Zippy would always translate it very poorly and get a weird look, then a smile from Felipe.

Quick update. HEARTS Of Glory are the shizzz. I have them challenging the LA Stars at my big show Wrestling Showcase to unify the Men’s and Women’s Tag Titles and make it an intergender division.</p>

I just wanna point out that most of my best matches in my now three-year save involve workers from this mod. I just had my highest rated match ever (58) at my December 2022 show, a four-way for the Women’s Championship where Alina America retained over Ashley Keith, Frankie Carmello, and Chris Amerson. Amerson has had my longest title reign of any title and Frankie is a former Champion too.
Also, after a year of them being unemployed, I convinced Akari Kawashima and HEART Koiso to come over and anchor my Women’s Tag Team division, taking the belts off of Black Diamond and Tameka Sky. Sky turned on Diamond and they’re in a hot feud now.
This save would be so much less enjoyable without this mod so thank you.
EDIT: Just had a loser leaves town two-of-three falls match between Frankie Carmello and Chris Amerson, and it was the best match of my save so far at a 61. Amerson lost, so I'll be releasing her and Tennessee William. Nothing against them, but at 36 local pop I had over 100 wrestlers on my roster and needed to trim some fat. It's hard for me to make Amerson lose because she's so good, and her gimmick screams unstoppable to me, so I let her go to clear space at the top of my card to push some other women.

Lol to give her a gimmick other than Worlds Baddest Woman would be an injustice. She’s responsible for most of my best matches through almost three years. I’m surprised she hasn’t signed a big contract yet.

Mannnnn I just re-downloaded TEW for the first time in a few years and was wondering if the Rockverse ever got completed. New art style is aces too. Looking forward to it.
