  3. Tons of games have mods that add or fundamentally change features of the game, and I'm wondering if there's anything like that for WMMA 5.
  4. This is something done often by ONE, and would be a cool feature to add to WMMA. The AI would be unable to shoot for a takedown, and refs would break clinches super fast. Also, it might cost more to convince a fighter to fight under a kickboxing ruleset. Lamont Banner would be happy to remove grappling. James Foster would not.
  5. First of all, loving this mod. The start is perfect to build either Elite XC, or Strikeforce into major competition for the UFC, and there are an incredible number of fighters, and seeing someone like Jon Jones debut and putting him on my shortlist immediately is so exciting. Because I know I'll get him before the UFC if he had a high potential roll. I do have a couple complaints though, related to ratings. And it's mostly peoples chins. A bump up by 10 points across the board would be nice. Especially because unlike other attributes, it doesn't increase in a fighters prime.

  7. Honestly amazing you're still working on this and making it better. Just want to let you know your hard work is greatly appreciated. I just have one small request: If someone else were to change up the mod a little bit to make it start a few years later with some companies already open and some fighters with history already, would you add a link to that to your downloads post?
  8. So, in that mod I don't think Fight Pass is owned by the UFC, which is why anyone can join it. But when you do set up your own broadcaster, you can give your child companies a broadcasting deal with broadcasters you own in the child organization menu.
  9. While it's annoying, I kinda get it. I imagine it's like fighters not even wanting to talk about fighting for a little while after their fights. I change recuperation times to "much less severe" so that it simulates that time period better.
  10. I was just playing through and all of a sudden this hit, the UFC got hit with a mafia scandal and lost all their broadcasters.
  11. This would make it worth it to actually start as a lower level promotion IMO. I'd love to start as XCC and work with SIGMA or BCF. And Alpha-1 and GAMMA talent trades? I can finally play without taking up every ranked guy and letting the other promotions build a guy up to the point where he's ranked then snipe him and have him losing to unranked .500 fighters in my organization.

  13. This is my favorite mod, the only problem is I personally *hate* using fighters without pictures. I still love it enough to use it anyways, but this will be my favorite thing when it gets finished.
  14. This is something often given to champions and occasionally to non championship fighters that are very popular. And at a certain point money doesn't mean anything in the game. I have my own broadcasters set up all at "enormous" with subscription, advertising, and PPV revenue models. I'd like to be able to profit share with the fighters.
  15. I would really like to see an attribute like this added that makes the fighter much more likely to throw flashy strikes like spinning kicks/spinning back kicks, side kicks, even front kicks. Another idea would be unorthodox grappler where more rare submissions are used. Like a von flue choke, gogoplatas, omoplatas etc.
  16. I think '97 is a bit too early for me. I started watching in 2010 for Chael so something like 2005-2006 would be perfect for me. Slightly before my time to give myself more time to deal with my favorite fighters but not so early my favorite fighters are years away from their debuts. Regardless this looks cool so I'll check it out anyways.
  17. I love this and cant wait until I can use it myself. I've always just used the default but switched recently to the RZV skin and even using the default database I'm having a really good time.
  18. I love this mod and love how much effort you put into it. The *only* thing I would change is something in the game itself and not the mod. The rankings are kinda messed up because guys going 30-0 on the local circuit end up being the #3 guy in the division despite being god awful *ahem Frank Analysis ahem*

  20. What am I doing wrong? I cant get pictures to work and when I start a new game there are no active companies. I extracted the thing straight into the WMMA5 folder, then moved the "data" folder to the databases folder.
