  1. Man that's fun, i'm currently in a play with APEX wrestling that I basically used as what I want Jon Gresham's promotion Terminus to be. Wrestling-oriented, strict set of rules, emphasis on win/loss record... Basically what EVOLVE was in a period of time.

Currently in January 2022 having ran 21 show.

Gresham unified the ROH titles with Bandido on the very first show and has since then defended it against the best on the independant (and elsewhere): Tom Lawlor, KENTA, Kyle O'Reily, Alex Shelley, Dominic Garrini, Daniel Garcia, Jay Lethal and so on.

Currently ending a feud between the Foundation (Gresham, Lethal, Tracy Williams & Titus) and a loose alliance of Davey Richards and his protege Daniel Garcia and Alex Shelley - Richards & Shelley claiming they paved the way for independant wrestling years before it was "cool" and never made it big. Basically bitter indy veteran.

This rivalry was the backbone of APEX in year 1. Richards & Gresham had two epic 30 and 60min time limit draw before Gresham took Richards away.

Richards rebounded with winning the APEX Tag Team Summit with Garcia (their team is named Ode to Bulldogs) and becoming the first APEX Tag Champs by defeating Gresham&Lethal in the finals. They're also the PWG Tag Team Champs.

On the women's side, i've had an "APEX Queen of Fighters" title that is a trophy that is defended like a title. Jessica Troy from Australia won it in the inaugural tournament beating Killer Kelly in the finals and has since defended it against Deonna Purazzo (twice), Allysin Kay, Masha Slamovitch, Aja Kong, Mercedes Martinez and Serena Deeb. Just got dethroned by Killer Kelly who had a 6months long undefeated streak to took her revenge.

The shows are numbered like EVOLVE, currently running APEX 22 with a main event of Danil Garcia vs. Gresham for the ROH World Title. This is a feud ender with Garcia having pinned Gresham in the tag tournament finals.

I also ran 3 "Open Fight Night" B Show where I test multiple wrestlers. Just signed Gzim Selmani who had few squashes. Also signed Mascara Dorada and the rest of the card is basically one night contract. If the wrestler perfoms well I'll sign him (signed Rust Taylor and Bu Ku Dao like that)

Elsewhere on the card, Tom Lawlor won the IWTV Independant title from Alex Shelley on APEX 6, and just lost it independantly of my will on a Beyond show to Tony Deppen. I'm not quite sure yet on who'll take the ROH title from Gresham, wanted it to be Garcia but his performances haven't been that great and he's already the tag champ. Maybe it's gonna be Dominic Garrini who I absolutey love and has been on a hot streak

Man...this was one of my save idead for a while, establish a sports oriented promotion with wrestlers that could "shoot".

One question I have is...how did you get the ROH World title? Did you make ROH inactive and bought their championship?

And what about the IWTV title? Did you join the Alliance?

As the years go by in my WCW save, I plan to maybe purchase ROH in the future to turn it into a Developmental so I can develop my younger guys that don't have a spot in the main roster yet.

  2. I've had a very similar game with APEX Wrestling that has went ~8 months ingame. 50ish pop starting off, built the entire company around Keith Lee and Shane Strickland. Free The Narrative group of EC3/Kross/Titan/Blake have been the main heels for most of the game.

I closed ROH pre-game so I could buy the titles ingame and had Gresham unify the ROH World titles with Bandido before unifying his belt with the ROH TV belt held by Foundation factionmate Rhett Titus. Gresham would lose the belt to Tom Lawlor who had his own faction called FILTHY (since the entry Team Filthy exists already). Daniel Garcia won the ROH title from Lawlor and is a year or so will unify the belt with Keith Lee.

Rok-C and Nixon Newell unified the ROH World Women's and APEX Women's World titles, and Mickie James took the new title from Newell not long after. WWE let Asuka go, so I brought her in as Kana and she won the title from a retiring Mickie James and will soon lose the title to Toni Storm.

Matt Cardona won the NWA World's Heavyweight title from Trevor Murdoch early on and defended it against talent from NWA/AEW/NJPW/Impact. I brought in Cody Rhodes on loan for a one-shot appearance to take the belt from him. IMPACT X Division Champion Sammy Guevara will be coming in to defend the strap against the winner of a TBD five-way match. I plan on bringing in IWGP US Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi but haven't found a way to fit it in yet.

I've positioned APEX Wrestling as a true spiritual successor to ROH but with more money and more popularity. There is plenty of room for a third major company now. I currently have the APEX World title (still held by Keith Lee), the APEX Women's World title (held by Kana) and the ROH World Tag Team titles held by the Briscoes (reigns broken up by FTR on a trade with AEW). I do not plan on introducing a set of APEX branded tag titles for a year or longer, so I'll stick with the ROH tag titles for now.

That's super nice dude. And yeah, there's plenty of space for a well funded third promotion in the US right now, because there are so many good people to bring in that are currently unemployed or will soon negotiate their contracts.

Right now I'm thinking about bringing some young japanese talent to have a more diverse roster (nationality-wise) so when I get to Big size I can have some good popularity in Japan and maybe hold a show there in a couple of years.

Also Damien Priest is renegotiating his contract with WWE, I maybe jumping in to try to get him too, so he can become the new face of my Violence UNLTD stable (which is managed by James Mitchell which I think will make a nice pair with Priest).

And Brock Lesnar is offialy a free agent in my game right now, so I will probably get him too, possibly for Starrcade PPV to confront the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, WALTER.

  3. Going for my second pay-per-view in the game, June 2022 - The Great American Bash

  4. So I have a few questions, what size is your company, who else is on the roster?

I started the game by setting the popularity in every region of USA as 50 points, so the company size to start was Small. I'm still at Small size, but almost getting to Medium.

I also started the game with 50,000,000 in cash, but burned 20M at the start to create my own broadcasting company.

And used the money to get some guys that weren't exclusively written contracts to AEW, WWE and NJPW. Also some other workers I got when they started renegotiating their contracts with the other companies (specially WWE) and Idk why, but at the start of the game there were a lot of this cases, so I was able to offer contracts to guys like WALTER, Montez Ford, Powerhouse Hobbs, etc.

Although I "burned" some money, I only lost cash in the first month, ever since I have profits around 200,000-300,000$.

    My current roster is:

    Major Stars: La Sombra.

    Stars: Keith Lee.

Well Known: Bandido, Buddy Matthews, Dragon Lee, Jay Briscoe, Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb, Killer Kross, Mark Briscoe, Montez Ford, Shelton Benjamin, WALTER and Will Hobbs.

Recognisable: AKHAN (Sunny Dinsha), Alexander Hammerstone, Ariya Daivari, Brody King, Chris Bey, Chris Hero, Daniel Garcie, Fred Yehi, Jacob Fatu, Juice Robinson, Marshall Von Erich, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, RAZER (Gzim Selmani), Ross Von Erich, Rush and Zack Sabre Jr.

Unimportant: Chris Dickinson, Daniel Makabe, Dylan James, Jaka, Kobe Durst, Kyle Fletcher, Leon Ruff, Mark Davis, Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste and Tyler Bateman.

I also rotate some indie guys to use them as jobbers to I can put my guys over.

    My current Stables are:

Los Ingobernables: La Sombra [L], Dragon Lee, Rush and Salina de la Renta.

I'm also currently running WCW Monday Nitro (A-Show) and WCW Thunder (on Thursdays as a 1 hour B-Show to only get some guys TV time)

But at the start I was only running Nitro, starting at 1 hour and then expanded it to 1,5 hours.

  6. Nice Dyansty man! I'm currently playing with CWW too, but I don't use the set of rules you did, which is fantastic! I wish I had thought about that myself :p

Also, about multi-man matches, did you ever thought about using something in the style of Quintet rules? I think that would be a nice way to use the multi-man matches on a MMA/Sports-based approach.

  8. Hello guys,

I saw this CWW Submission belt idealized by @Regis and done by @Defizzle,

    8VZL7YG.jpg

I would like to know if someone can modify it, using the same design, but instead of a solid black belt, add gold to it,

So it would be like this:

    14+-+CORAL.png

But with black and gold, also, I would like to have the Black Canvas Grappling logo on it, instead of the CWW logo.

  9. BTW, I don't know what are your plans going forward with this mod, but do you plan on having monthly (or regular) updates on it like the RWChronicles or you want to set it to start on a certain date in time and then the player goes along with it (like the historic mods)?

IMO, I would prefer having a deeper mod with more workers and companies (not so many too, maybe 30-40 max) than a mod with every minuscule title change and roster change updated every single month or so.

  10. The picture you have for Tsugataka Sato is actually a Kohei Sato photo.

I know you said you don't want to add workers/companies you don't have a good knowledge about so you don't create people with mistats, however I'll be listing below some Japanese free agents (or wrestlers that are in companies not in the game) that I would suggest for you to add in the future, as they are someking of mainstream names in Japanese wrestling and could be used to put some more people in the talent pool for that region.

I will try to play with ROH again and some other promotion (possibly NOAH or AJPW) and will be giving feedback to see how things work, I really liked the Wrestling Royalty idea too, nice job!

  11. Hey man, I just finished 2 months playing with ROH, I will post somethings that came to my attention, as I'm not a hardcore player, I don't know if must of it has to do with the mod or with the game itself, but just to give you some feedback:

My promotion was heavily raided by the bigger promotions, as most of my top stars were signed to written exclusive contracts by them, listing below:

Flip Gordon was signed by WWE.

Marty Scurll was signed by WWE.

Jay Briscoe was signed by WWE.

Jay Lethal was signed by WWE.

Dragon Lee was signed by WWE.

Dalton Castle was signed by WWE.

Kenny King was signed by WWE.

Shane Taylor was signed by WWE.

Jonathan Gresham was signed by AEW.

    Rush was signed by CMLL.

Also WWE hired LOTS (over 50 guys) of talent from the indies and some that were PPA deals with AEW as well.

At Sat Week 2, Feb 2021 I got the "Big Trouble in Little WWE" report, which would indicate that the company would fire some people, but so far that didn't happen.

Triple H was crowned the NXT Champion.

RevPro and NJPW had a beef, and RevPro left their Alliance.

PROGRESS and WWE had a beed, and PROGRESS left their Alliance.

AJPW and NOAH are sharing lots of workers.

I guess these are the most notable things, I'm not complaining or anything, as some of these happenings I see as realistic anyway,

Thanks for the mod, I really liked it, the graphics are awesome and very fitting, keep the good work!

I've been playing with pro wrestling NOAH, and noticed that you might have confused Hitoshi Kumano with Katsuhiko Nakajima, as the picture for Hitoshi Kumano (Hitoshi Kumano.jpg) is actually an old picture of Katsuhiko Nakajima,I'm linking below an updated picture of Hitoshi Kumano (from 2017) if you want to fix it.</p><p> </p><p>

Again, nice work I'm really enjoying it!</p><p> </p><p>
