1. This makes sense, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. Thanks!
 2. The issue is I'm getting a message that says the show has not resulted in any gains, but this only seems to happen on the 2nd show each month. The first show gains popularity every time (though it doesn't always move the needle). I'm not doing touring or lesser events, but even if I were, shows in the low 50s should surely gain pop in a region where my popularity is 14.
 3. Why do some of my shows not gain popularity in my home region (where they are held) despite the rating being significantly higher than my popularity (a 52 rated show when my popularity is 14). I feel like I read somewhere there's a maximum amount you can gain in a certain period, but not sure what the specifics of that are, and can't find it now to check. I'm currently running 2 free shows per month but the 2nd seems to not gain anything, so it feels like it's kind of pointless running it....

Or is this just something that I have to deal with due to it being a developmental company?

Yea, I think you just have to deal with it. You can always try and loan them back.

 5.
Doing my first attempt at this in the new RWC mod for April. Used the random stats which seems to be a disadvantage, but never mind.

Started is Southern England with an Attitude Entertainment fed. No idea how people are knocking out the 50+ achievements in their first shows, because after a full year I'm yet to have a 50 rated show or match. They have steadily increased though.

At the start I was doing free weekly shows but I quickly abandoned this when the 3rd show didn't gain any popularity. Instead I swapped to 2 shows a month. The economy and wrestling industry kept dropping though and eventually both his 0, which lead to my shows not attracting any more fans despite being free. When that happened I started charging "Normal" prices, which cut my attendance from about 75 to about 45 as I couldn't afford to keep running for free if the attendance was no longer rising. I soon got the point where, thanks to sponsorship money, I could break even on my 2 shows a month as long as I used the bare minimum in terms of staff costs. When that happened, I dropped to 1 show a month in order to start making profits, and pay back the debt. After a full year I was $3887 in debt having made a profit of 870-930 each of the previous 4 months.

My end of year roll gave me a Hot New Move. Once I got that I decided I had to try and improve on my terrible Road Agent who was penalising every segment/match on the card. There was no one affordable locally so I took the gamble of hiring a guy from Ireland who would cost me $100 a show including travel, more than I was paying out before. So far, he's been worth it though, and we've had our best matches/shows to date, and are knocking on the door of the 50 rating achievements.

My UC continues to be pretty crap though, with his best match so far being a 45. Whenever I use the "Mayhem" match aim for him it says that the chaotic style hid my poor performance.... even when I'm the best performer in the match. No idea why. I have managed to get him up to 40 Popularity though.

It's been a good level of challenge that has seen me have to watch every penny spent. The debt is now down to $1735 after 14 months so we should easily clear that in the next 2 months and at least not be closed down.

Edit- My next show got the Magic 50 rating so I got another role which let me make an unemployed wrestler active in the UK and my close friend. Of unemployed wrestlers with at least 30 pop in the UK, the only 2 who weren't active here and I couldn't talk into it were Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. My owner goal does not let me hire MMA Crossover stars so on that basis I went with Ronda as she is younger so by the time that goal expires, she's more likely to still be wrestling. If I was willing to break the goal, I could bring her in, but not without bankrupting us. Maybe one day....

 6. I've been meaning to give this a go for ages, but only seriously started looking at it last night. I've got a few questions before I give it a go... 1) Are there any real world mods that are recommended for this, or is it exclusively down on the default data? I've never played with that, so not sure if I'd struggle too much not knowing who anyone is. Ideally I'd want to try it first on a real world mod... and then maybe when I get into the swing of it, start over if the challenge is best suited to the default data, but who knows. 2) In the set up of your user character it mentions setting Potential to excellent, but I couldn't see that option anywhere when I was setting up. That seems like it could be important.... so where do I do that? 3) Finally, is there any set rule on the "User Talent Points", or can we assign them as we want? I did a random one when I was testing stuff, but got less than 30 so probably wouldn't do that again.
 7.

Yes, they have to finish out their exclusive written contract before they can go to a new employer. You can find out how long that contract has left in the in-game editor.

Whilst technically correct, I don't think that's the answer here, as if they're on "Exclusive Written" you shouldn't even be able to talk to them if there's more than 30 days remaining, right?

So if he's waited a month, that deal should have expired.

If it's just "Written", they should be free to join you immediately, but will still have to finish up the contract time with the other fed.

My best guess would be that you have got them but you have some kind of filter set up so they aren't appearing when you go to book matches. Anything else would be very confusing, unless I'm wrong about the 30 day thing.

 8. I’m fairly sure the order of time slots from best to worst is in the guide. My understanding is competition does nothing and a better time slot is always better.
 9. When you click on them you see their popularity on the right hand side. Click the yellow arrows above this and it’ll change to contract details and you can release from there.
 10. Can I block my Child Company from negotiating with certain talent? I just tried to call someone up from my child company and realised their contract was allowing them to work for others too. I wanted them exclusively so offered them an exclusive deal, and my child company outbid me.... now it's not the end of the world as I can just take them from the child company, but still, it's a bit stupid that you can get into a bidding war with your own development fed... I feel like i'm missing something.
 11. Is it possible to delete a worker from a save game? I can’t find an option for it, but I have a few people I’ve imported incorrectly who I would like to remove.
 12. Stables have their own section. Go to Stables then click the stable you want from the list on the left. There should then be a button to edit the stable. Once on that menu just change the guy you want to remove to “none” and save it.
 13. Set the brand to “none”. You’d have to do it for each champion too.
 14. Yea, that looks pretty damning to me. I just ran my next PPV, and there was no improvement in the numbers at all. I'm going to be better off running my events on Commercial broadcasters to make Broadcasting money than I am running them on PPV if those are my numbers. An episode of TV nets me around $400k-500k give or take, my PPV made just over $100k. Granted my commercial deals have much bigger coverage, but those PPV numbers are sickeningly low, and the numbers you've reported there give me no hope it'll get any better if I continue to invest in the broadcaster.
 15. I had the same problem and have to play exclusively on a monitor. I think you can mess around with the zoom and make it fit, but it's a pain.
 16. You absolutely can do them, but if you do too many without any built up ones then the fans get sick of them.
 17. I should also stress that I'm fairly sure my problem was caused by what we discussed, airing too many shows. The fact is, even the 3-4 episodes of Smackdown I aired on PPV saw a huge decline in buys after the first 2 weeks, so yea.... I messed up and ruined that 1 PPV. I'm fine with that. It's just of interest to me that this poster has experienced issues with an Internet broadcaster as well, with his seemingly not being self inflicted. I guess my issue is with the understanding of coverage. It's all well and good that a terrestrial channel, in real life, is in almost every house and therefore the best... but then the coverage in game should reflect that. A terrestrial PPV provider should be set to "huge", not "very small", because almost everyone in the country, theoretically, has the option to buy it. I understand from a game perspective why that cannot be the case, because it would hugely inflate buy rates so as to make them not realistic, but by definition, "Small" coverage should be in more homes than "very small" coverage regardless of the type of carrier, is my understanding. If that's wrong then I apologise for the misunderstanding, but that's what would make sense to me, even if it's not overly reflective of real life.
 18. My point is that, in this mod at least, you simply can't. There are no PPV broadcasters available that have the required coverage. My options were "stick on very small forever, and never gain any popularity/any real money from PPVs" or create my own network. If creating my own network is going to give me less buys despite better coverage and better time slots, it's been a complete waste of time. The guide book itself even says PPV broadcasters have restricted coverage, which again, makes sense, but if someone wanted to throw money at creating their own broadcaster to get better coverage, they should get.... better coverage.
 19. That makes sense from a real world perspective, but my experience seemed a bit weird. I was playing as WWE in a mod and every single PPV gave me a "we didn't gain any popularity due to low coverage" or whatever it is message for every region. There were no PPV providers bigger than "very small" in any region, except a medium one in the US which I wasn't on. As a result I made my own broadcaster, moving from "very small" coverage everywhere except India to "Small" coverage everywhere including India. My first PPV on the new network drew maybe 1/5th of the numbers of my worst previous PPV in the 18 months I've been playing. That didn't seem realistic. I've discussed it in the Small Questions thread, and I think the reason it was so drastically low is I did put Smackdown on the PPV network as well to try and get a few buys out of India (mainly to gain popularity there, I don't need money), which had no other broadcasters, and that was stupid in hindsight, but I'm just experimenting with this save file really. So I'm hoping when I go back to just 1 PPV per month, the numbers will recover, but I would expect a Prime Time slot with Small coverage to draw more viewers than a terrible time slot with Very Small coverage.... if it doesn't then it's not worth investing in a PPV broadcaster really.
 20. I may have misunderstood the achievement thing but I’ve always thought it was for things that aren’t a championship- Royal Rumble, KOTR, MITB etc.
 21. This might explain the issues I had with creating my own broadcaster, although I also put too much content onto it. If they are getting lower buy rates than cable ones this might need to be looked at because it seems counter productive. Coverage for existing PPV providers isn’t good enough so you make your own and invest millions and the buy rate goes down? Doesn’t seem right. Were you at least making more money given you got 100% of it?
 22. I don't think that's an option, unfortunately. When I asked the same thing, a few people recommended some software I could use to achieve it, but I wasn't really interested in doing that so didn't look into it. I just use a monitor because my actual laptop screen isn't big enough for the game...
 23. Thank you, I'll give it a go. To clarify, I didn't run any extra events, but it was a TV Show airing on a PPV Network (as well as other networks). My logic was it couldn't hurt to give people the option to pay for it if they wanted to, especially as it allowed coverage in a new area... and that, for obvious reasons, next to nobody would opt to pay for it. I didn't expect it to then massively hurt the numbers of an actual PPV that didn't air anywhere else. Sounds like it's just a rookie mistake on my part though. I'll try not airing anything on PPV for a bit, and hope that fixes things.
 24. If it hasn’t been resolved I will do that next time I encounter it, but I’m glad other people have noticed it.
