  1. Asaemon: For his countless contributions with graphics, event logos, company logos, worker cuts, CV renders/re-renders, belts and diaries.
  2. Extreme Rules is shaping up to be a fun show. The Swamp match is interesting and I love all things Bray Wyatt. Eye for an Eye should be fun. MVP has just been awesome since he came back (The new US title is gorgeous) And Randy Orton has just been amazing all year. Some things aren't doing it for me (Sheamus/Harry, The Tag Scene) but I'm looking forward to the show.
  3. I think it was removed due to it leading to egregious and unrealistic pop growth.
  4. I'm going to outright say it, I despise the new storyline heat requirements. SWF for example requires 5 storyline at 75 heat. That's just insane to me and not only does it discourage the use of midcarders, it's also not realistic. At the moment there is no reward for having that one big storyline everyone is interested in, because they are all measured equally. So what I propose is a cumulative heat meter for storylines. Say it's 1998 and you're WWF and the cumulative heat requirement is 210. You'll have Austin/McMahon at 100 heat which would be a massive cut into that requirement. Not only does it reward you for having a superhot storyline, it's also realistic and doesn't weigh Too Hot/Al Snow on that same level. ADDENDUM: To avoid someone exploiting the system with 21 awful storylines include a condition that 2 feuds need to be interesting so 70/60.
  5. I've always viewed championship as a prop. In the way that they affect the storylines and the characters. They're my "Infinty Stones" in the sense that the characters need motivation to want them and having them affects their character, losing them affects their character, and chasing them affects their character. In SWF for example, does Skull DeBones need the belt to add to his character? If so, why? It's also why I rarely have the big championship on my #1 guy. He's bigger than the belt and his character doesn't need it to get popular, so if HD fued will draw anyway why give him the title? Lengths of reigns depend on story too. That's why I may have 7 different World Champions in a year, sometimes only 1, sometimes 3. It all depends on what stories are being told.

  7. In my current game, SWF got kicked off of their TV broadcaster (Instead of moving to a different time slot). This wouldn't be a problem, except now they're unable to sign with ANY broadcasters for a whole year. Why is that a thing? When IMPACT got kicked off of their broadcasters, they immediately signed with a new one. They were signed with Destination America, before they were officially kicked off of POP. It doesn't seem realistic and just feels like an unnecessary game mechanic that's just their for "simulated difficulty". The only time I can remember this being a thing, was WCW not getting a TV deal, but WCW was a known money dump and replacing WWF with WCW would see a ratings drop. So my suggestion is removing the year limit entirely.

  11. Creative Name: Maximus Johnson Bio: Television writer of awful low budget TV shows, as well as a few shows on the CW (no difference tbf), he has always sought a challenge. Now looks for his hardest challenge: Pro-Wrestling.
  12. In terms of Hogan, he draws the way he's needed to. TV numbers, like I said 500k tuned in to see him and Flair and immediately tuned out. If that's not being a draw, then what is? A draw brings eyes to the product and that's what Hogan does.
  13. Is that not the point of NXT? Put these guys in the public eye, so that when they are called up, people actually know who they are? Ciampa, Gargano, Almas etc. would be jobbers to the audience, without NXT, and then be booked strongly to gain overness. It's an inherent problem with TEW and how it can't simulate actually popularity, because of how the CV has changed that perception.
  14. In regards to popularity, how pop is scaled needs to be based on viewership. Take for example Nick Aldis and Seth Rollins. They are both main eventers and are booked strongly on their shows. However Aldis is seen by 200k people and Rollins by 2 million. Using scaling, there's about 3,5 million US viewers for wrestling. And just being very generous, let's say all 200k who have seen Aldis wrestle in the NWA are American. Aldis is still seen by 10% of the audience that sees Rollins wrestle every week. So in no way should he be near Rollins in terms of pop. Let's take Okada for example, in Japan he'd be about 80 pop. In America, going off of New Japan's numbers in America, he'd be at about 40 to 50. And that's being generous. EDIT: On the Hogan debate, he is absolutely a draw. Just last year 500k tuned in for his segment with Flair, then immediately tuned out when it was over. If that isn't a draw, I don't know what is.

  16. I think it's cool. Especially if say Eugene or a comedy character won it via fluke. Or an egomaniac character won the titles. There is weeks worth of segments of people "courting" the champions and trying to convince them to pick them as their partner.
  17. With only one week to go to the RCI, I was finally able to watch the boys work out their matches in the ring. Rip and I had put together the matches with them and now I'm finally able to see them in action. I felt an odd sense of pride watching Riley McManus lock up with Antonio. This feeling of bliss was interrupted by one of the boys coming up to me with a slightly embarrassed expression on his face. ???: Hey boss, can we talk? NT: Sure, what is it? ??? Can.... we talk in your office? I got something to show you. I got up and started moving towards my office. It was surprisingly tense as we walked past Oscar and Zoe, trying desperately to keep their new relationship a secret and failing. I just chalked it up to the fight that happened last month between the two. We made it to my office and I was handed a very official looking document. It wasn't long before I understood the tension. NT: FU*&! Atop the paper read "SUPREME SPORTS INC." and I dropped it down on the desk. I rubbed my hand through my hair as I didn't know how exactly to process what was happening. NT: So.... SWF huh? ???: Yes. Mr. Eisen... Richard called me directly. He sees money in my gimmick and thinks I can connect with their core audience. I know Ozzie and Flash declined their offers last week, but this... I can't pass this up. NT: Yeah... This.... It's the chance of a lifetime. I'm not gonna ask you to pass this up. Did you talk to Rip about this? ???: .... I cracked an awkward smile to try to ease the tension, to no avail. I slowly nodded my head as I realised why he came to me. If this was TCW or USPW, he'd have gone straight to Rip. But this is SWF, this is Eisen... This is very different. NT: You didn't talk to Rip. ???: You know how he feels about Eisen. I was hoping you could talk to him. NT: I see... What about... ???: The RCI? I know you were going to "coronate" me. But this is big money, money I can't turn down. I did talk to Jerry and Eric though, they convinced Mr. Eisen to let me work the show. NT: Rip is gonna be pissed. But you have my blessing at least. I'll talk to the guys and we'll rework things. ???: Glad you understand. NT: Yeah, I understand. Call them in. We have work to do.
