  2. Wwe 1993 I am using a WWF 1991 mod and am now 2 and half years into the mod. My WWF Champion is Bret Hart having beaten Ric Flair in the Main Event of Night 2 of Wrestlemania IX. He's now in a programme with the Narcissist Lex Luger Flair has been the leader of the Stable "Rushmore" since his entry into the company mid-way through 91, the stable did consist of Flair, Arn, Razor and Perfect. However after Flair held back Razor from having a title shot, Rushmore exploded post Mania IX, spinning off with Perfect and Razor turning face, and the Hollywood Blondes joining the group at King of the Ring 93. Warrior/Hogan have been involved in an on and off feud, competing in two matches with Hogan winning both first at Summerslam 91 and then again at Mania IX. This last loss turned Warrior full heel, but his contract is coming up, and booking him is problematic so he is on his way out. The "Beasts of Revelation" have dominated the tag division for a year(since dethroning Hogan and Warrior). Bam Bam and Vader(managed by Harley Race) finally lost the titles in a three way dance to AMN(Any Means Necessary - Ron Simmons and Butch Reed) - the Steiners again missing the chance to get the titles. This will lead to two monster singles heels going into the upper mid card. King of the Ring launched Bret in 1991, and led to British Bulldog winning a title shot at Summerslam 1992(in UK), and led to a one night title reign for a feel good moment. 1993's King of the Ring is the bratty Owen Hart who is a heel, but still admires his Brother. The "demon" Jake Roberts will corrupt his fragile Psyche in late 1993 leading to the Brother v Brother storyline. Roddy Piper is the GM of WWF after Nick Bockwinkle retired, and has been involved in a feud with Ted Dibease, who was left pennyless after trying to bankroll his pursuit of the "Presidency" of the WWF. He will follow a "Happy" Corbin style booking and come back richer, looking to take Piper's leadership away. Macho Man and Shawn have now finished there 9 month feud over the IC title, and Diesel is showing tweener behaviour and an interest in taking Shawn's belt. Macho is a little in limbo at the moment. Sid Justice is doing a sort of Big Brother angle with 123 Kid, protecting him from Harley Race's Beasts. This will lead him to be in a feud with Vader in the Summer. Elsewhere Haku is guiding the career of The Great Kokina(Yokozuna) who is dishing out a harsh lesson to his family (The Samoan's Fatu and Samu). He's now going to be treating himself as the Andre of the WWF, the Unslammable Kokina. Would be interested to know if people would like to see a video version of my Mod play, and/or a monthly update on here around the ppv's. 3. WWF MAY 1991 I’m playing a 1991 Mod as the WWF and have just started to get the hang of TEW2020. I am enjoying the new changes and challenges of the game, and whilst I know its not the most complete Mod conversion, touch wood I haven’t noticed anything that has thrown too much of a spanner in the works yet; Champions: World Champion: Macho Man Randy Savage(Won it at WM7 in a Triple Threat with Hogan and Warrior) IC Title: Mr Perfect(Champion since my start in Jan 1991) Tag Team Champions(Champions Since WM7 when they beat the Hart Foundation) I’m in May heading to my first UK Rampage special as a way of boosting my popularity in UK, at the moment I am limited on my TV deals being right on the cusp of Medium>Big and needing a point in a few regions to push me to Big where I will try and get a few more deals to give me an international exposure. Heading into the show Macho Man will be defending his title against Davey Boy after he won a Battle Royal on Superstars to crown the number one contender. The winner will meet the number one contender Ricky Steamboat at King of the Ring 1991. Ricky and Macho have had the post Mania feud for the belt playing up that Macho Man can’t get the win over Ricky after WM3. At SNME in April the two went to a Iron Man 30 Mins Draw. Ricky has been mentoring Bulldog so Macho Man has bought back Dynamite Kid who is angry at being cast aside by Bulldog. At the show Ricky Steamboat and Dynamite Kid will face off as well as being in the retrospective corners. Hogan and Warrior have a tension from WM7. Hogan is much more straight face but Warrior has confidence issues. He thinks Hogan wants his win back. They have now teased a 2nd match but are currently in a feud with The Natural Disasters. Typhoon and Earthquake are pretty hot at the moment. Warrior has been hurt in the build to there tag match at UK Rampage, and Jimmy Hart has teased a third Disaster in the UK(Giant Haystacks/Loch Ness) who will be in their corner. At the show Big Daddy(UK legend) will be with Hogan and Warrior just to give the match as much star power as possible. Then at King of the Ring I will be moving Hogan and Warrior into a contract signing for there 2nd match at Summerslam 91 Roddy Piper had Mr Perfect beat and put to sleep at SNME but Heenan got involved and caused the DQ. Roddy wants his first taste of gold in the WWF, and due to a clause in his contract, if Heenan caused a DQ, he would be granted a rematch and the opportunity to name a corner man. He has invited Perfect and Heenan to Pipers Pit in the UK to reveal the BIG surprise(Andre the Giant), they will then meet at King of the Ring Shawn Michaels has already teased a turn, using the tights to defend the Rockers tag titles at SNME in a match against The Fantastics. They were granted a rematch but Shawn feigned a knee injury and got counted out so as to stay fresh for his 1st Round King of the Ring match. Marty is worried but trusts him. The Fantastics will get another shot before Money Inc are moved in. The Undertaker is face, I pulled the trigger as the face side of the roster was sparse with Warrior and Hogan tied in a feud together. Taker is feuding with Berzerker currently. At King of the Ring they will fight in the first Coffin Match in WWF. Taker is on the build currently but Berzerker has been pretty good. I am planning to move him into a tag team in the Autumn and name his Ragnor the Berzerker to give him a bit more legs. King of the Ring is designed to continue the push of both Bret Hart and Sid Justice who will meet eventually in the finals. Sid is fresh of destroying Jimmy Snuka, he has put a risk on Big Bossman making the tournament, as well as writing of Jim Neidhart after the Hart Foundation “split”. Hart is building, and is the first man through in the tournament. Brackets are; Bret Hart beat Sgt Slaughter The Mountie v Marty Jannetty Ted Dibease v Owen Hart Shawn Michaels beat IRS Sid Justice v Virgil Jim Duggan v Rick Martel Big Bossman v Superstar Steve Williams Brian Pillman v Haku Jim Duggan and Virgil are on a mission to get Sgt Slaughter to trust America again, and get him back on side. Slaughter is on the decline but is over. He can’t bring himself to believe he can have his country back just yet. I am finally putting a bow on the Martel/Tito break up and storyline. They will most likely finish up at King of the Ring. Sherri has been moved away from Macho Man and is Scary Sherri who is managing Nasty Boys. They are moving into a feud with Brian Pillman and Owen Hart before I launch a “lightheavyweight” belt. I am toying with the title at the moment, as I want a lower mid card, but I am not sure whether I want to limit my options. Animal is mentoring Crush whilst Hawk is in rehab. This will eventually turn Crush when the return happens. At the moment they are knee deep in a feud with Fuji and the Orient Express. Muscle has been bought in by Fuji in Barbarian, and Tiger Mask has joined with the LOD to fight against them. My plan is to move Tiger Mask into a tag with Pat Tanaka(if I don’t go Light Heavyweight) and build him in the fast openers. Jake Roberts and Texas Tornado are in rehab too. I have plans for both if they can kick the habit. I am kicking around the idea of launching a second company, Tri State Wrestling and then sign up people I will have room for in a year or two(Headshrinkers, Razor, Diesel, Doink, Candido). I’ve signed Jerry Lawler who will go into a feud with Bret to legitimise him after King of the Ring. I am sitting on the availability of Ric Flair whose contract will be up soon. I won’t go higher than Hogan’s deal though so I am not 100% I will be able to sign him. If he does sign then I have big plans for Naitch.
  4. Hi guys, i'm booking in 1991 with a WWF mod. I was wondering if there is any advice or guidance to not get marked down on matches for participants "holding back". It seems on all my tv matches there is a penalty for each person "holding back". Is this just a case of it being a tv match and therefore restricted, or am i doing something wrong in the booking. Any advice appreciated
