3. January 26th:

    rN8O1fF.jpg

Today was the day. It was the 15th Rip Chord Invitational. This was a really big show, probably our second biggest all year. It is an 8 Man tournament of some of the best wrestlers around the world, specifically, in North America. So I looked at my eight performers before the show began.

    XTT6B3l.jpg

    Aldous Blackfriar

"His Satanic Majesty" has gotten really popular over in IPW. He is apart of this large Dark Cult storyline. Could never really understand what that was about but Aldous wrestles good, so we are bringing him in.

    XDXaepT.jpg

    North Star Jr

The OLLIE representative, North Star I feel is very underrated from what I've seen of him. He is going too need this tournament too stand out in OLLIE.

    ZuMZ70p.jpg

    Miller Fforde

One of our MAW reps, Miller is a former world champion, but he has never won the Rip Chord. He will be looking too go far here but he is still playing second fiddle too "The Cowboy"

    ijUZ3yP.jpg

    Ash Campbell

"All Business" has too be a favorite. After his father's sudden death he has worked his way too one of the top performers in PSW. Sam really likes him, so we will see how far he can go.

    m1VvWym.jpg

    Frankie Boy Fernandes

The CZCW rep, Frankie is trying too become a good singles star. He will have a hard road though on his side of the block.

    YwlAhzR.jpg

    Cheetah Boy

The veteran of the MAW roster, he is facing the man who beat him for the MAW title in the first round. Hopefully he can teach Miller a few tricks in this match.

    IMiadxo.jpg

    The Architect

The Architect has been given a slow push by us. We know how good he could be but also understand he could be poached as soon as we push him. We want too make him one of our stars, but we need too make sure hes ready for the big leagues.

    nWLMYjW.jpg

    Seth Whitehead

The Only TCW representative in this match, Seth has a lot to live up to. He's the most experienced of the TCW guys and will be looking to represent them here.

I handed the card over to Sam Keith for him and me too look at. He made one small change, putting Trix Triumph on the card. Which is weird. I don't know what he sees in the guy. But he likes the rest of it so we sent it off onto posters and the like to prepare for tonight card.

    “Prepare for the future, Jay”

    January 1st:

I sat on my couch, in my cooped up apartment in Virginia, watching TCW’s latest pay per view. I saw Greg Gauge take on Roderick Remus, to open up the show. These were two of the GOAT's of MAW. Two of the men that carried MAW in the 2010’s. This match is the greatest advertisement for MAW, a show that if you go through us, you will succeed. We aren't trying to be some SWF worldwide company. We are trying to make the stars for these companies. I got a call from the boss.

“Jay! Great job on Night of Champions!”

    “Thanks boss.”

“Love me some Bradley Blaze. Kid’s got a bright future, wherever he goes. By the way. You here about Johnny Martin’s kid?

“Didn't know he had one. Guessing he's doing good?”

“Yeah. He just debuted a few months ago and Im probably going to sign him”

“Wait what? I’ve just heard of him and you are already signing him.”

“....Jay, let me tell you something. It’s 2020. A bunch of people retire and their sons come in and do their thing. This is the cycle of legends. They create legacies.”

“Well I got that. I've seen them before.”

“Here’s the thing. It’s rare to find a son or daughter that can live up the legacy. Brooke Tyler, Alicia Strong, Casey Valentine. These are people who have met or exceeded their fathers before them. There's a reason they are in the big leagues while someone like Ash Campbell isn't in USPW. I think Chip Martin can be a Casey. I think Chip Martin can be great.”

    “Interesting”

“I will email you some matches of his. Remember Jay, Prepare for the future.”

Pepper Pelton vs. The Masked Mauler VII

  8. So I did the Rip Chord Invitational and here are some notes I can pick up from that.

-Excluding Seth Whitehead, The TCW guys all need some TLC and are long term projects.

-People like Ade Nelson, Copperhead, and Deuce Deadline have really improved since you've last saw them and are decent mid carders too have.

-The Past Masters are a decent team but will need more time to develop.

-Blaze, Fforde, Cheetah Boy, and The Architect are your big four too build off of too start with, so Id suggest let the main events revolve around them

  9. https://giphy.com/gifs/excited-ron-paul-its-happening-rl0FOxdz7CcxO

Main Event: CWI Championship. 20 Man Battle Royal Featuring: Conner Threepwood, Java, Stan Manna, Ryan Turner, Sean Noggin, Sione Tokoeka, Ace Youngblood, Roger Monteiro, Wild Red Stallion, James Diaz, Dreadnought, Original Sinner, Chip Martin, Zippy Deverell, Jack Pryde, Jason Patterson, Pepper Pelton, Nate DeMarcus, The Masked Mauler, and The Hangman

  10. Well I have tried to play TEW2016, but my brain tells me not to get invested into a game with the new one a few weeks out.

But until 2020 drops, I am currently finishing Doom Eternal, and with Final Fantasy 7 Remake coming out tomorrow, I will have plenty to keep me occupied until 2020 consumes all of my free time.

The best relation to TEW 2020 if you want a feel for it seems to be WMMA 5.

  11. So putting out all my ideas out in post,

    USA:

USPW will still be Number 1 but attitude problems are rampant. Not USPW levels, but the old guard and most of the main people are big issues in the company. Steve would have lost his belt and gone down the card a bit as Nicky Champion and a few of his friends have begun politicking there way to the very top. NYCW would become the Developmental promotion.

SWF is still number 2. Theyve lost more stars and are forced to turn Jack Bruce heel to stay relevant in the war. They recently stole Rocky Golden from TCW and are planning a star studding between the two.

TCW are on the downturn. They've lost Rocky, Sammy Bach, Joshua Taylor etc. They fire Kyle, who hasn't done the best job, but he stays on as a color commentator, because he has improved on that front. Ricky Dale Johnson buys out the company and retires. Wolf Hawkins reboots the Cornell Dojo and becomes the booker, staying loyal to his mentors creation

CZCW has stayed relatively the same. Stars leave, new prospects come. Same old here.

PSW is out of business, failing to move on with the times. Notable stars like Ash Campbell and Ernest Youngman get picked up by the big boys. Logan, Acid II, Stuntman, and others head to japan and other international spots while some vets stay on the indy scene.

AAA keeps up there foothold and grow to the#4 spot in America.

QAW falls a lot with a bunch of stars leaving to AAA.

IPW and GSW are still going at it with new stars coming in and stars being stolen by both. Neither can really get a long term advantage.

MAW is still good. They haven't been bought out because all the companies know they are the best at making prospects and Sam should be left on his own pond to make these stars.

FCW has joined COTT and is rising. Carlos has finally turned his life around and is now one of the top stars in the company.

    Comments:

-The Main things learned here are the submission experts taking advantage here as a majority of most fights ended with a fighter tapping.

-Togni delivered here, becoming the first company champion

-Lots of prospects coming out here tonight. We will see how they do.
