  1. Yeah, but he had permission from Vince McMahon to do that, didn't he? He didn't just completely shirk his existing contractual obligation to wrestle for WWE. His acting career was incorporated into his wrestling contract.
  2. I could also sue him in court for failing to fulfill his existing contractual obligations. He isn't an actor or MMA fighter, though.
  3. One of my top guys - the #1 contender for my world title - just got offered a movie role in-game and he'll be leaving in two months to go film it. This is unacceptable for me. He's under an exclusive, written contract, and I have plans for him for the next three months. Major plans. Main event, world title picture plans. If this were real life, the fact that I have this guy under written contract means he absolutely would not be allowed to just walk off the show without my approval. So is there any way in this game that I can lay down the law and just tell him to **** off with this movie role? Because I really need the ability to do that. For that matter, exactly how long will it take for him to complete this acting gig? Maybe I can have him back in time for the PPV.
  4. I think I had this problem with TEW 2016 also. I had to reinstall the OS, and when I did that, I also had to reinstall the game. When I reinstalled, it asked me to input my license. I kept the confirmation of purchase, and copied and pasted the Order ID number into the license. I got this error message: https://i.postimg.cc/rmRdWPnc/A.png Can you help me out here? I paid for this game, so I would like to be able to play it.
  5. I honestly like the IDEA of mandatory pre-booking: Getting to book my supercards in advance in order to drive up PPV buys. However, it's too unforgiving at the start of the game. Literally, just as I am getting ready to book my first show after signing my roster of free agent talent, I'm getting an attendance penalty out of the box, not because I neglected to do the mandatory pre-booking, but because I literally COULDN'T do any pre-booking, since ... ya know ... I didn't have any wrestlers until just now. Hell, the biggest stars - the ones who I need to pre-book in order to avoid attendance penalties - tend to take the longest to make up their minds about signing with me. I don't want to simply disable mandatory pre-booking. It's a great mechanic, in theory. But it needs to be scaled back for my first couple of shows, in order to give me a chance to "get settled in."
  6. 1. Let me scroll using the mouse wheel in every menu. It's annoying when I can't scroll using the wheel, and for that matter, it seems completely arbitrary when I can and can't scroll that way. 2. When I'm booking the show, I can pull up the tournament menu to see what matches I need to book to advance the tournament. Cool! How about also giving me the ability to select a match in that tournament and immediately add that 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 match to the card, a la pre-booking? Obviously, I wouldn't be able to make it a specialty match, but if I'm not trying to make it a specialty match, this would certainly be convenient. While we're at it, can I have the option to move a match from the tournament bracket to pre-booking? 3. Let me pre-book the finals for a tournament for a monthly event, even when the semi-finals or quarter-finals are not yet finished. The pre-booking could simply say "TBA vs. TBA" in that case. This way, I could avoid the starpower-based penalty to attendance because I didn't book enough matches with enough big stars at least a week in advance. As long as the finals were pre-booked at least a week in advance, and as long as the finalists have enough popularity to otherwise overcome the attendance penalty, then I should avoid the attendance penalty. 4. The "division" feature is supposed to be there exclusively as a sorting tool for the player. It's not supposed to have any effect on gameplay. Well, how's about letting me quickly and easily sort through workers based on their division, rather than making me go through the "search" sub-menu? In 2016, I used the "push" feature primarily for that purpose, since it allowed me to simply click on a push to filter out those who were in that push, making it an easier way of sorting through wrestlers than the actual division system. 5. When automatically assigning referees and road agents, consider doing so in a way that minimizes the chances that any one ref or agent will get worn out through overuse. I should only get such a message if I'm booking so many damn segments that at least one of them simply HAS to get overworked like that. 6. The "hire cost" for a venue I own should automatically be $0. I'll add more as I think of them.

  8. Can you still do that trick from last game where one guy who is super good at one skill can be rated on that skill, while up to seven other guys are not rated, and get essentially get free popularity?
  9. Whenever I book an angle, sometimes I get the message that nothing interesting happened in the angle, so its rating got a penalty. I can script people to take stunt or crazy bumps in the angle, and I can even book storylines to be advanced because of the angle. But I still sometimes get this message. How can I reliably ensure that "something interesting" happens in each angle?
  10. If I set up a tournament, and I say that draws don't cause eliminations, then what happens when I have a draw? Do I have to redo the match? Do both guys advance to the next round, turning their next match into a triple threat? Or does something else happen? Also, how do the round robin tournaments work? The only settings I can set are the points gained for a win and the points gained for a draw. But how many points does a guy need to claim victory? While we're on the topic, what does it mean to select "bye" when setting up a tag team tournament?
  11. Whenever I try to move to the show and book the card, I always get the error message in this thread's title, and then the game crashes. How do I fix it?
  12. EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out. Please check out this thread instead: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547961
  13. No, they aren't. The bottom just says "disable tournament check."
  14. They're not in the road agent notes anymore, so where the hell are they?
  15. Here's a suggestion I think would be pretty dope if you could include: Each booker has different skills to bring to the table. In the current game, which booker you select to play as is almost entirely irrelevant to the game. I usually play as Jack Bruce, since he's the most popular wrestler in the game at the start, and so my angles - which are rated primarily on overness - can get high ratings out of the gate if I use him. Since your choice as a player character has absolutely no bearing on how you go about booking your shows, Jack Bruce is otherwise the ideal choice for a player character. But imagine if different bookers each had unique advantages and disadvantages to using them. For example ... Teddy Longdore - A play on the name "Theodore Long," this booker gets a bonus to the ratings for tag team matches, so they score higher than the same matches by other bookers in otherwise identical circumstances. Meanwhile, their tag team titles gain prestige faster and lose prestige slower than other bookers' tag team titles. However, to offset this, his singles, triple threat, and fatal four-way matches, as well as his singles championships, are comparatively penalized. Dangerous Paul - A play on the old ring name "Paul E. Dangerously," this guy gets a bonus for exceptionally risky gimmicks, matches, and angles, and can crank up the "risque" and "T&A" factors in his product screen much higher than normal before he starts losing the ability to get various TV time slots. But to offset this, wholesome gimmicks, matches, and angles are penalized, and he won't be able to get a primetime TV slot or any sponsorship income at all. Roaddust - This copyright-friendly version of Dusty Rhodes gets a bonus for matches that end with a tainted (aka "Dusty") finish, and will be immune to penalties for tainted finishes in promotions that normally require clean finishes. I think you get the idea. Give each booker a different skill set in order to force players to adopt different playstyles depending on who they play as!
  16. I can't seem to find any info in the game regarding the Hall of Immortals, who is in it, what the criteria are, or how far someone is to making it there. Can someone show me where I can find this information?

But if it is permanent modding of game data you are talking about, there is an editor you can use before you start the game that allows you to permanently edit all aspects of whatever database you are using. 18. It seems that every time I start a new game, I have to spend hours upon hours in the "edit data" section tweaking the various settings to my liking. This game is moddable. So there must be a way to change the default settings so that they are the way I like them right out the gate. But how do I do that?
