1.
Three years.

I spent three years building Logan Wolfsbaine to be the absolute king of wrestling, beating everyone. Figurehead, top champion, everything was his. I'd just booked him to defend the COTT belt, along with my company's top title, against James Diaz. The journey was complete. And then I saw this...

Not bitter at all.

Edit: Sorry, can't figure out how to make the image bigger. He lost the belt, after only 3 defences, to the wrestling deity that is Super Lucha Scott.

<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2019_04/2014493692_THREEYEARS....jpg.e491be29a5dbb8f5a233a25a74f5605f.jpg" data-fileid="3498" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3498" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="2014493692_THREEYEARS....jpg.e491be29a5dbb8f5a233a25a74f5605f.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2019_04/2014493692_THREEYEARS....jpg.e491be29a5dbb8f5a233a25a74f5605f.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 2. How exactly does one invert a sleeper? Asking for a friend...
 3. EAGLE Kawasawa is an Optimus protege, but he’s at Middleweight. However, Kawasawa himself trained JOJI, so...
 4. No, I misread it and thought you were still talking about RTG. What would you call the challenge, so this thread isn't diverted wildly off-topic?
 5. If 'those' is in reference to organic workers, go to the screen from which one can access the live editor and set Worker Generation to None.
 6.

It's hard to say without knowing the rate of improvement for a dojo and how to improve it or if its up to chance. :/ I think you'd also probably need a higher starting budget to offset dojo maintenance costs, and to buy the initial dojo.

If memory serves, dojos improve by the passage of time and trainer improves.

EDIT: Having simmed a year in the CV77 database, my dojo has gained 67 reputation but only produced 3 graduates, with Worker Generation on the highest setting. If this is going to be an actual challenge, and it should, we should create a new thread.

 7.

I would love to see someone do a local to global solely using their own academy graduates as wrestlers, that would be an interesting challenge that couldnt be beaten with just show spamming (the SQ of NB would eventually prove a roadblock if you dont have the right grads so rushing without the tools to win NB would be pointless).

This may be a bit irrelevant to this specific thread, but what reputation would you personally set the dojo at if you were to do this?

 8. Does entering the editor disqualify you? I haven’t seen it mentioned other than the previous post, but I went in there to check (but not edit) my company’s popularity.
 9. Unless I’ve been avoiding admin for weeks or accidentally deleted the deal, all of my recent saves have had King’s Road off-air.
 10. Regarding the owner goal 'must have at least as much popularity in X as at game start', how is this determined? Is it an average across the whole area?
 11. If you run tour events, highlights will air if you have a deal, though it may not tell you. I also saw the TV thing, I can only assume it's an update but I'm not sure.
 12.

After a long time I will introduce another company. This time its the mexican company

Allianza Mexico de Lucha Libre (AMLL)

all masked workers have alts without masks for mask vs. mask matches.

No offence, but I think it's 'Alianza'. The masked workers idea seems to be a very good one.

 13. I downloaded your save game as a rough guide to starting, them saw that you could barely get 80 with a touring schedule. This buoyed my hopes. Thank you, Derek, for sharing the pain of a bad start to a save game. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
 14.
SWF:

Joey Morgan must headline at least one of the first 2 Supreme Challenges.

Jack Bruce may not win another title.

Greg Gauge, Ernest Youngman, Austin Smooth: Hire one and give him a megapush, hire another and team him with Everest for at least one year (they must wrestle a minimum of 2 matches a month, even with bad chem), and never hire the third.

Primus Allen, Ekuma, Spencer Spade: Call up all three. Give one a dancing gimmick and involve them with Robbie Retro in some way, give the other a losing streak gimmick, give the other a run with any title in the first year.

If you sign Ross Henry or Marat Khoklov, they must immediately enter feuds with Remo or Angry Gilmore respectively. One of them must win said feud.

 15. I personally dislike juniors and heavyweights mixing at all, so I try to bring Munkata up, but your dynasty has given me a new perspective. I also lower the heavyweight titles' minimum weight to Lightweight, just in case any high-level juniors refuse to move up.
 16. Strict Storylines stipulates that you must have, IIRC, 3 storylines of C or thereabouts heat. It doesn’t affect your actual booking.
 17.
After running 88 shows in '97, my UC's stats look like this:

My company is at Regional, with around $200k in the bank. I was already happy with my progress, then I saw this:

16. "Chance to Train" You have been offered the chance to train with a Wrestling Legend. Gain +20 points to spend on any performance row stats. (Basics, Psychology, Safety, Consistency, Selling)

<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_08/1718533110_StatsJan98.jpg.0150d55bc3340a2a7a4d3d24570114a7.jpg" data-fileid="3442" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3442" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="1718533110_StatsJan98.jpg.0150d55bc3340a2a7a4d3d24570114a7.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_08/1718533110_StatsJan98.jpg.0150d55bc3340a2a7a4d3d24570114a7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

In the previous release of the game, when Matt was in PSW and Greg was in Japan, there was a specific note in their bios that said they made their debuts on the same shows but never as a team, so I think the cannon was they both debuted as singles wrestlers -- which is also why they both have went on to:

A. form teams with other people

B. never be employed by the same company at the same time

You can even see in Sam Keith's booking of MAW, when he brought Matt in to work the Sam Keith Classic, he didn't team him with Greg.

I've always, when having both Keiths, teamed them up because I love the twin brother team and with the exception of 05 Remmington Remus is a no go. I also love the Keith family and in my own head cannon created a daughter/little sister for them who also wrestles so that they can dominate every where -- but that's just me.

Personally, I'm keeping the Keiths apart for now, as I tagged Greg with Gonkuro Kamioka. I have plans for them to join NEO down the line, maybe each turning on their partners and building to a Night of the Burning Hammer match with them vs. Toshitara and Kamioka.

Still in the USA? Who are the best signees?

Which regions do you find fun? The US is by no means the best region. You might want to start a tiny Australian fed for the challenge. You might want to, indeed, found a major US company.

DISCLAIMER: I barely play RW mods, so this is all for the C-Verse.

In the US, I'd recommend the likes of Greg Gauge, Ernest Youngman and El Mitico Jr, and for main eventers in the early days I'd get Fox Mask, Bryan Holmes and Art Reed. If you play on 'Easy', this creates a Cult company, so you can sign Ross Henry when he debuts in Feb 2016.

 20. There are Elemental alts on the forums for every region, plus a few more (USSR, the Koreas), so that could be a good source of legacies. As for Optimus, I would use Yanagimoto, as he's probably Japan's best unsigned junior and I personally expect Optimus' legacy to be "the total package", so to speak.
 21. If I were in your situation, I'd use the editor. It's like a BHOTWG wrestler in '13 being loyal to the Hinote Dojo and refusing to be called up.

Did a lot of people try this out?

YES. Definitely.
