After a while me and Grace decided to give the fans an alternative choice. Fans who didn't like The Big three because they were too mainstream and who didn't like Grimm's and Gil's product because it was too extreme. Think of our product as a mix of the 70's territorial era wrestling and the CZCW product with just the right amount of mainstream wrestling, not too much so as it will alienate the old school fans which were going to be a big part of our fanbase and not too little so as to turn away potential sponsors. Our company was a place where the old and new schools of wrestling existed in harmony.</p><p> </p><p> Now it was time to start building my roster the first thing person we needed was a referee and the cheapest one around was Moore Vincent who also worked and was also a part of Grimm's entourage. I went on a hiring spree to find 7 wrestlers and I will be the 8th,8 wrestlers I think is good enough to start. E-Z was a brawler who also worked for IPW and he was definitely the most popular member of the roster but also the most negative influence backstage. Then there were Mexicain and K.P Avatar who made up the rest of my main eventers both of them were brawlers and KP was best talker of the roster. Then there was Avalanche Takano who was on excursion from SAISHO so that means that there's no long term plans for him even though he was definitely the best worker on the roster.Mark Smart and Ben Williams made my midcard both of them had spent the majority of their career as jobbers but now was the opportunity for them to try and rise above that.New York Red was the veteran of our roster who has spent the last fifteen years of his career on the indy scene.And then there was me the least experienced and least popular member of the roster.And these were the people who made the Ultimate Championship Wrestling, yeah I know it's a pretty generic name but seriously we had nobody to think up names for our wrestlers,events and stuff like that. We thought through all different combination of names that would give our company some form of credibility and make people not just shrug it off as some form of joke,and that is what we came up.</p><p> </p><p> The last few weeks before my first event was hectic sometimes I would spend about twelve hours outside putting up posters,handing out flyers,looking through what sort of venue I was going to use for my first and working on the card with Grace. Sometimes I wouldn't even want to leave my bed but I would eventually with the thought that this was all going to be worth it.The first thing we needed people to help out with the event. The wrestlers were already helping me with setting up the ring and the chairs and all the other stuff but I needed people to help out during the event and I got lucky because some of the wrestlers had friends who were more than happy to help me out in exchange for a free ticket,that seemed fair I mean all they had to do was collect the tickets,show the two people who actually came to the show,work the concession stand and answer questions and in exchange they got one hour worth of free rasslin.I brought in a few friends who are in college to help with the video editing,logo and belt designs and whatever else might come up,I got my logo on a banner and put it on top of the entrance way to give the place a little personality and the title belt looked pretty clean although it was nowhere as good as it would have been if a professional made it afterall they were college freshmen but it was pretty cheap.And now the final person I needed was a cameraman to shoot for the DVD that we were going to sell at the next event after the first and I found someone who was willing to work for 100$ per show I know that sounds like a lot but the other people were asking for a lot more this was LA after all.</p><p> </p><p> Everything was ready it was time for Where It All Begins.</p>

My name is Tito Tribbiani and for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a wrestler. I have been watching wrestling since I was like 5 and grew up watching guys like Rip chord,Jack Bruce,Ricky Dale,Rocky Golden,Bryan Vessey but the man I always Idolised and wanted to be like was ''Rough Justice'' Tommy Cornell. It was my dream to work for TCW but before I could do that I had to pay my dues. I trained myself it gave me the chance to work on the things that I wanted to but it also left performance skills such as in ring psychology,basics and consistency pretty unpolished as opposed if I had went to a dojo or worked under a veteran they would have been better. I got the opportunity to hold the book for a new promotion in SoCal. I know what you are wondering how come I a nobody without any form of experience or connections in the buisness got to call shots in a company. Well one big reason is that I was willing to work for free all I got was a 10% share of the company to compensate,oh they also said they liked my ideas for the company but the free thing was probably the thing that closed the deal.The promotion was started by a couple of investors who just wanted to multiply their money,I know when you hear that the company had investors you would think that I had a comfortable amount of money to start with but the truth is I only had a 1000$ that's it they only put 1 grand and they thought it would become like a 10,000 by the end of year. I don't know where they got that idea from because the economy and the wrestling industry was shit and was still going down, I knew that because I always kept my eyes and ears open. It showed me that my investors knew nothing about the wrestling buisness or buisness for that matter. So why did I stay with the company, I mean seems like it was doomed to fail right? well there was two reasons for that. The first reason was that I was given an opportunity that some wrestlers would kill for and that is deciding how my career starts .There are a lot of wrestlers whose career end before it even begins. For example some idiot in the back decides that a natch needs a crazy spot that you tell them you cannot do,but you have to or else you get a reputation as a capper,as someone who is not willing to take one for the team and what happens when you do the spot? you get an injury that forces you to retire very,very early. Or some idiot promoter decides that it will be ''edgy'' if you went out and made some homophobic or sexist comments to rile up the crowd and get heat. But this will definetly come back to bite you in the ass when you try to get a job with one of the bigger promotions. I didn't wanted to be one of those guys,so this opportunity was a godsent. The second reason was that I had suggested to the investors that they take a ''break'' from running the day to day buisness aspect of the promotion and hire someone else in their stead. I was kinda expecting to get reprimanded for this or something but they actually took my advice it seems like even they knew they weren't good enough hehe. But after a week of search they brought in Grace Harper one of the best female american wrestlers and a veteran of almost two and a half decade. She had a lot of wisdom,experience and insight that she pass down the locker room and me. She would have primarily worked as a color commentator but I talked her into doing work as a road agent and she seemed fine with her role. She also put down some goals and rules for me like I can't hire wrestlers who are too hardcore and a little nutty, also can't hire workers who are older than,must make sure our finances doesn't become red and a couple other things it all seems pretty fair and also she did something I was not expecting like me she also decided to work for free. Looks like this company just might have a chance at surviving.
