Question About Title Creation

When I created a title from my fed in a game a while back it started off as vacant with the vacancy showing up in the title history. Now...this doesn't really bother me that much but for some reason it was a little odd and somewhat annoying while looking at my title history as all the titles added previous to the start (histories and whatnot) start with the first champion. Did I do something that made the title show up as a vacant first champion or is it this way with all created titles?

Something I noticed in my MAW game when I vacated the tag team titles was that the belts were 'defended' two times while vacant. I presume that this was because I had a four team mini-tournament with two semi-final matches before the final, where the belts were won.

My vacant title was defended 6 times, the same as my last champion but the funniest part. It was the 9 time vacant had been champion. lol
