company match style suggestion (IFL)

to make authentic, feds should have option of traditional year round 1 v 1 competition format ( ex: ufc) or have the option of a team based format (ex: IFL). IFL reminds me of a touring promo in wrestling as they have "seasons" and determine a team winner each season. if you are not familiar with IFL heres there home page: [url]http://www.ifl.tv/[/url]

I am not familiar with IFL as i have never seen them, but i heard of them in the past. But i went to their site and i am impressed to see their lineups. They have a "team sport" feel to them, very similar to any other such as the NBA, NFL ect. It would be nice if Adam will add the team, type format. That way it will give variety to the type of matches, title belts and even promotion types.

An IFL style fed would be wicked fun to run. After the "season" you could sign new talent, draft them to your current teams, Add new teams. It would in my opinion give the game more depth.

I agree it'd be cool but being realistic if you've got several big time free agents how many of them are likely to sign in the IFL? It'd be interesting if say Rampage became a FA on your game and signed with the IFL

I believe Adam said in another thread he's trying to implement an IFL type league in the game but was having difficulty due to the way it's setup and what not. Hopefully we do see it included in the game.

It'd be interesting if say Rampage became a FA on your game and signed with the IFL[/QUOTE] the fed could be set up as a touring PPA company. as a challenge, this type of fed may be limited to ppa contracts due to nature of product. this way you can bring in top names for a season. of course if your event falls on a night they want to fight for UFC, they may be unavailable to you. just as ppa is done in TEW. many MMA guys and even some of the top guys are PPA exclusively. ex: Fedor in pride, also in bodog. no written contract, just ppa.
