Canceling A Show

I've never done it before, but I accidently booked a 4 hour show that I do not feel like filling out. I know theres a warning that says it is bad for the promotion image, but what does that mean exactly? What are the exact consequences for canceling a show? I don't want to totally ruin my promotion or anything

Ive only done it when Ive just started a game and I havnt gotten a full roster together yet, but Im pretty sure it's just your prestige that drops slightly. Im not sure about your popularity, but 1 shows never done enough damage to go down a grade.

I've actually cancelled a show before and nothing really happened. I was a small fed however..

I don't know about in 07 but I did it a couple of times in 05 while I was playing as TNA nothing really happend if I lost anything it was very little not even noticed by me.

You may lose some prestige, but thats about it. When I changed the style of my fed, I got a message it would alienate some fans and I noticed that my prestige took a hit, so it seems likely that cancelling a show may have the same penalty.

I had a 4% drop in Prestige or something like that, didn't remember to change events date so I had two events straight in a row :E half of the roster was quite fatiqued, so didn't take the risk.. Hehe.

When fiddleing around with TEW07 when the demo came out I cancelled a show with either SWF or TCW (I forget now) and they dropped a whole letter grade in prestige.

Yeah, I did as WWF because DOTT didn't have KOTR scheduled when I wanted, and I went down 5% in prestige I think. One letter grade, and I suspected 5%. I was actually going to ask about this. Afterward, I used my editor to increase my prestige back up, and I did the same with my popularity (only 1%) thinking that that had been affected too, but I don't know if that's true. So the general consensus is that popularity is unaffected and I should put my popularity back down?

I cancelled a few shows in a row and got dropped as the network decided that it was "too much hassle to keep in their schedule!"
