I think that before every show which has a size of big, huge or Pay Per View (depending on whether it is the same as the TEW system) you should be able to hold a press conference a week or so in advance and get a general report of it - whether two opponents showed immense heat, which fighters didn't seem so hyped for their match, and if fighters showed alot of respect/no respect at all towards their opponent (which could indicate whether you really want to keep them around when they're generating such a negative atmosphere, or whether they have an good nough attitude to stick around). Just a small idea, but I think it could be fun and also a good way to possibly bump a fight's heat up a grade. Thoughts?
or as opposed to that you have the weighins which have the same purpose except you also have the drama of seeing if the fighters made weight
Also a good idea there. You could check up on their weight a few days before the fight, and if they're a few pounds off hire special trainers for an extra cost to help them get their weight down before the official weigh in.

Both are very good ideas.
The problem with the weigh-in idea... they weigh-in the day before a fight and if they weigh-in over the weight, they have 2 hours to lose it.
but it could lead to fights being canceled or title fights being made int non-title fights like in real life, and fighters could have self control ratings so there could be guys that would never weigh in over, and there could be guys that would do it frequentley

Yes, but fighters don't normally cut weight until the day before weigh-ins or somewhere in there. Some with huge weight cutting may do it on a larger scale but 10-15 pounds, they'll cut it the night before as it is mostly water weight. So there isn't any time to check up on them. If they could check up on them don't you think Lutter would have been a major priority as it was the main event for a title?

Reason is most is water weight so they sit and sweat it off. Most recently BJ Penn talked about it, he has to cut around 15 sometimes, 10 of which is water weight so it is no problem. Randy Couture had something online of how he cut. It was like when jogging with a body suit on he lost 1 pound for every... something. Forget if it was distance or time.

thats the idea of the weigh in tho (or at least thats what its become) it would make sense to have it in the game, and it would be up to the fighter to make weight, although it could cause problems if there were regions where fighters couldnt fight out of there weight classes

We aren't talking about not having weigh-ins or cuts... but the fact that it's virtually impossible for his idea of "checking up on them and offering them specialist help" considering they cut weight the night before weigh-ins.
