Irish Wolf Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Well I screwed up my 4C game so that Diary and my Multiplayer DIary has been dropped due toother engagemens by my partner, and good luck to him in what he's doing. So that leaves me without a Diary to write and I can't decide which fed to pick. I've got no real preference but I know there is a good SOTBPW out there as well as a few CZCW and MAW diaries and a CGC one that's still running strong so those are out but I can't decided where to go nexty. I've doen UCR before and I don't feel like doing it again, but other then the ones already taken and UCR I guess I'll try anything. I just want to know if there ae any preferences somethign that people (no offense but especially the regulars) would like to see.
Remianen Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007
I'd like to see a 21CW, 5SSW or WLW diary.
I'm thinking of doing a 5SSW diary so that would be my vote. Would love to see how someone else would book them.
trypio Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 If you want to sail in uncharted waters Japan is the best option I think. WLW, WEXXV, Saisho and Hinote Dojo have all not been touched. If you want to stay in America and want to be original I'd say RIPW.
Wildcat Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I'd love to see a good 5SSW diary as I'd like to see how someone would sustain that promotion as it always seems doomed to fail, though an RIPW one would be good too.
Actarus Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 RIPW would be cool, but unless you sever the relationship w/ SWF, it's an impossibility, as one cannot be head booker of a child promotion in '07. I wouldn't mind ROF or 21CW, as it would be pretty new and fresh.
Ramaeno Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Two Ideas For you: UCR! I did a UCR diary for awhile and it was pretty cool but that was in '05, before Bigger Dan Ewe went from Mohawked Superman to B movie porn star. :( Another Idea: Why not stay neutral for a bit? Just report to us the events from your region (IE if your user char is american and based in USA then report about the States wrestling, likewise if he were Canadian, British, Mexican, European Japanese) and focus on good reports for a bit and then when a new promotion of your liking springs up, jump in there and start your diary. There are a ton of feds that appear at a certain time now, right? Maybe peak into that file in the edit, see what you wanna be apart of and then sim up to that time, reporting, and then jump in. Just my two cents.
Irish Wolf Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 So far 5SSW has a little support going as does Japan in general with WLW being on te top of the list. RoF and 21CW also seem to have support and I'm liking Ramaeno's idea about waiting and trying one of the New Promotions. The only one I'm thinking of not doing out of those choices is 5SSW especially if your gonna do one Remianen as your the king of women's wrestling and I wouldn't want my diary to compete against yours. But I stil haven't made up my mind yet so if anyone else wants to put in their two cents you still have some time.

I love seeing different points of view and how other people think. I'm relatively narrow-minded in my booking and I get stuck on certain workers really easily. So I get new ideas and different perspectives and ways of approaching booking from reading diaries. I LOVED Torri's AAA diary, for example, since it made me look at some workers differently. Honestly, I'm not even sure if I'm going to do a diary with 5SSW or whether I'd go with one of the newer promotions (like CWWF). I'm beginning to kinda like the idea of starting without a passel of well-established stars as well as giving the game world some time to develop (and some of the newer workers time to debut :p).
Jorge_JBR Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I don't know how everyone else feels, but I love booking DAVE. I can usually build half of the midcarders up to main event by the time my main eventers' contracts run out and they decide they're too big for me. I usually lose my TV, and I can't get a new show as, for some reason, the industry is also sh**y in my games, and falling. So I just hold weekly PPVs, which helps my income. I'd say do an interesting DAVE diary. Like, if you lose your TV, go deep into it, and have some off-screen stuff on how it effects you as the booker, Phil as the owner, and maybe even the whole roster. Like if it bands them together, or drives them a part.
i effin rule Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I think you should wait just a little bit and do a diary as one of the EffVerse feds [wink wink, nudge nudge]. Just kidding, but I agree with everyone who says RIPW.
Irish Wolf Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 I've made my decision and started a 5SSW diary and it's now time to see if I can keep the company afloat.
TheEdgeOfReason Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Why don't you wait and do a ARCV draft diary with your promotion
Irish Wolf Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 If I do an ARCV draft I'm gonna want to do a multiplayer and I can keep a single and multiplayer diary going at the same time.
Mr T Jobs To Me Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 He won't do the ARCV draft because he fears FLWA!
Irish Wolf Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 I fear no fed especially with all the Samoans on my roster and a Dark and Gritty Lucha Product to go along with them.
Blackman Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Well, I for one would love to see a PGHW diary. I tried starting one myself, but it turned out to be a feeble attempt at something I clearly wasn't ready for. My style of reporting a play (called 'diary' here) is only suitable for the few that like it. I know it's kinda hard but I would personally love a diary of PGHW. So if you'd please consider. ;) A 5SSW diary would do fine as well. In a few months, I might do one as well since I'm most familiar with those workers. Still, it'd be better if someone else did it instead. ;)
TheEdgeOfReason Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007
He won't do the ARCV draft because he fears FLWA!
Pff, we all know TEWF are the fed too fear
Mr T Jobs To Me Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 You're all the way over in the UK, so you're safe for now. FLWA has its crosshairs on KEY, who is a bitter regional competitor- then the rest of the U.S., then... The UNIVERSE!
Rob4590 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 KEY laughs at your petty threats and promises to run FLWA into the ground in record time :p
i effin rule Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Yeah...well...Toronto Pro plans on running themselves into the ground...so take that!...or something.
