Storylines in non-televised vs televised shows

I should have played this game enough to know the answer to this but I dont think Ive ever tried. IRL many times an organization wont run thier active storylines or should I say progress them in non televised shows. IN the DOTT mod which I am just starting out I would prefer to just use the non-aired WWF (In your Neighborhood) for matches with occasional angles that might fit in w/o using my active storylines, in essence saving the storylines for the on air show(WWF Championship Wrestling). My question is will I get a message if I dont run any storylines during the non-aired show saying the fans were upset there werent enough storylines? Thanks for the response!

You don't have to advance storylines in order to appease your crowd. You just need to have enough stories active and with decent heat. However you will still have to run angles on your non-televised shows according to your match ratio %.

And if you'd rather have In Your Neighborhood more match-based, and Championship Wrestling more angle-based, you could run 80% matches on In Your Neighborhood and 60% matches on Championship Wrestling. I personally deleted the weekly events off of my DOTT game.
