Will these games ever be in store? I would buy it if it was, but since I don't have all of that internet money linking crap, I can't... I wish this was in stores, because if it was, I would buy it in an instant.

Only Arlie and/or Adam could answer this conclusively but knowing what I know about that retail channel, I'd be inclined to say 'no'. Not even factoring in the need for ESRB rating (for the US, at least) and the expense involved with that process (something like $12,000 per title submission), the internet/direct download distribution channel is probably the wave of the future. It allows developers and publishers to see more return on their investment because they have fewer hands taking cuts of their gross. As debit cards become more common (my 16 year old niece has a Visa debit card so they can't be that hard to get. There are also prepaid Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards out there, more commonly known as 'gift cards'), the web based commerce model will flourish even more. My suggestion is to find one of these avenues to go down. It's going to get "worse" fairly soon as more developers move to online only distribution.

It's very rare that I actually go to a game store to purchase something off the shelf. Do like the above post suggested: open a small checking account (they are cheap!), get a debit card (free!) and make the purchase (it really is easy!). Good luck and hope you enjoy the game....
try this out....... get a checking account, can you believe they actually give you a debit card ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!!!! Then you can buy the cd version online and go from there.
That's how my niece did it so I can vouch for this method. Her paycheck is deposited into her account and she uses the card for whatever she needs. She actually had the nerve to say, "They need to call it a debit account. Only old people write checks anymore." :p

Yep, I've never balanced a checkbook in my life, and I don't see the need to. Just remember how much you have in there, look every couple days (most banks have online accounts to see where you stand moneywise) to make sure, and be wise with the money.
