Touring TV

I'm playing as GCG and have two TV shows. Do these highlight TV shows work any differently from regular TV shows? I ask this because I don't seem to get any popularity bump from having the shows. I'm on Japanese Sports Vision 2. Is this too small to increase my popularity?

Do you book a touring TV show? I just wondered.....never ran a touring promotion before.

That was one thing i was thinking about. I made my SWF promotion a touring one. I have 2 TV shows running and i was wondering if they play any role in my overness and more importantly if i get paid for those shows.

Yes, GCG is a touring promotion. I'm not sure what purpose the TV show serves.

It's a recap show, aside from that I think it brings popularity up. Just look in the editor. You can't get revenue from it really because you dont sell tickets to the show.

Silly question, but do you have any shows booked for the TV to show highlights of? That's all TV is for a touring promotion - the best bits of the week's tours.

I had a topic like this a while ago but I think it got lost somewhere in the forum :P I've noticed it too that TV-programs of Touring promotions do not increase your popularity, I think it just keeps the overness from dropping. Also, when a promotion is not touring, the TV-show is still on, and gets ratings etc.
