TEW Music?

What songs do you normally listen to when you are playing TEW? You know.... mood music! I usually pop in a wrestling CD and listen to theme songs of the people who are going to headline my show. I sometimes play a rock song that goes with the feud Im booking. And for a PPV theme. I play some Bush, Mettalica, Creed, evaesancefsdsdhgadfhafg (sp?) How about you?

Well maybe if ITunes didn't screw up the game, I'd listen to music while playing. Humph. But since this is a disguised "What are your favorite bands thread": Behemoth, Children of Bodom, Opeth, Mastodon, Immortal, and Metallica.

actually, it isnt. It sadly, may turn out to be like one. But what I mean is what do you like to listen to when you're playing TEW. Like a certain theme song or what not. Personally, (and I hate to admit it) but I like the Sunny Theme song. For in my 98 scenario she is one of the top heels in the game and has her own talk show segment. I guess playing her theme makes me invision the crowd loudly booing. (insert Tammy Sytch joke by some dumb "smark") The Stone Cold Theme gets me riled up for obvious reasons too.

I only load it up when I need to add/shuffle songs onto and off of my iPod. :) I have a playlist called 'Bang' that I usually listen to while playing TEW (or Lineage 2 or CoH or Oblivion or....). It has various songs by a variety of artists (I'm not a believer in one genre being superior to another) like Saliva, Enya, The Wallflowers, Garbage, 2Pac, Prince, Diddy, Scarface, Spice-1, Juvenile, Changing Faces, Brian McKnight, Carlos Santana, Miles Davis, The Doors, Lenny Kravitz, Earth Wind & Fire, Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Franklin, Beenie Man, Jay-Z, Montel Jordan, k.d. lang, Enya, the Cocteau Twins, Muddy Waters, The Corrs, Deborah Cox, Dido, The Divinyls, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, the Bee Gees, and on and on and on. About 80 songs total so I rarely reach the end of it. edit: And yes, the breaking glass intro of Stone Cold's entrance theme probably makes it the best entrance theme in wrestling history. Only 'Taker's gong comes close IMO. But I'll admit that certain songs do kinda get me in the right mindset for booking a wrestling show. 'Click-Click-Boom' and 'Ladies & Gentlemen' (though it's been played TO DEATH of late) by Saliva, 'Wish You Were Here' by Incubus, 'I Think I'm Paranoid' by Garbage, among others. Although, every time I feel the need to release/fire a worker, I have to play 'Special' by Garbage. :p

I actually have a special playlist just of wrestling related songs. It used to be a lot bigger, before a crash :( Anyway, as of now, it has: Randy Orton's theme - Burn in the light Mick Foley - Car crash Steppenwolf - Born to be Wild (Cactus Jack's ECW theme) Zebrahead - Legs Like These (Maria's theme) WGTT theme Waterproof Blondes - Just Close Your Eyes (Christian's final WWE theme) Hardy Boys - Death From Above (tag team/Jeff Hardy theme) Hurricane's theme Dusty Rhodes - American Dream Ultimate Warrior - Unstable Raven's WCW theme Edge - Current theme Hart foundation/Bret Hart theme Hands Like Feet - Stalker (TEW 05 theme) There's a bunch of others, too, but those are the ones I tend to seek out on the list.

How on earth did you find Ravens wCw theme? I've been looking high and low for it. Now I have to settle for TNA's cheap immitation. Probabaly why I havent pushed him as hard in my game lol.

It's called Nevermore, I believe. I seem to remember getting it back when WCW were still in business, which means I've had it a good long time...

I some of those on my iPod (well, three). I love how with certain songs it's convincing as a song you'd hear anywhere so you don't have to go through the embarressment of telling any friends it's from wrestling. :p

i usually wont listen to music with the game but ill put in a cd everyonce and a while with .. Slipknot, Stone Sour, Metallica, ACDC, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Finger 11 .. you know good bands.. lol ;)

I listen to some theme songs (because they are so awesome.) but mostly rap. Yes, I know I suck so you don't have to bother telling me. The themes I normally listen to are... Alter Bridge - Metalingus (Edge) Mercy Drive - Burn In My Light (RO) Our Lady Peace - Whatever (Benoit) Along with a few of CM Punks themes, and Low Ki. Mainly rap though.

I find them to be horrible. They sound like they're in middle school. I'm not flaming you guys. I'm flaming them. I just want to know why you all like them.
