I'm pretty sure that, at some point, there was a thread that people discussed the CV trademarked finishing move names and their real world equivelants but I can't find it. Anyone remember what I'm talking about? Any help is appreciated.

Most of the finsihing moves in 2007 can be found in WreSpi 2 that's how I look them all up. Also it's nice because if you play as a character who has no finsiher you can see what moves are available to him or her by editing the move set.

Can also call it a Brainbuster DDT into a cradle (due to the difference in definition for 'brainbuster' between Japan & the West) Sara Marie York - Energy Burst - Glittering Magician Knee (aka Shining Wizard) Sensational Ogiwara - Sensation Stunner - Fireman's Carry Face Crusher (aka Brock Lesnar's F-5/Verdict) Suzue Katayama - Katayama Powerbomb - Sit-out Powerbomb (think Batista) Tracy Brendon - Idaho Crunch - Inverse Russian Leg Sweep (Cheerleader Melissa called hers 'Single Minor') Vixxen - Fall of Reason - Flying Fist Drop Wanda Fish - Blonde Ambition - Figure Four Leglock (Ric Flair); Dish of the Day - Roundhouse kick to the head But as said, many of the moves can be found in the default WreSpi2 database. Some moves can be guessed at fairly easily though from reading a worker's bio. Like, the Nakajima Straight-Jacket used by Megumi Nakajima is a simple Cross-Armed German suplex (or 'Straight-Jacket Suplex' as it's called sometimes).

Fox Mask -- Fox Flipoff DDT (Regular DDT done from the top turnbuckle, usually after the opponent goes up top for something high-risk but Fox catches him on the top), Foxhunter (Shining Wizard)
Proton Lock - Who knows what it is for real but I always thought of it as either a full nelson or rings of saturn.
It's a combination of a Sharpshooter/Scorpion Death Lock that Keith leans all the way back in (like a Muta Lock) and underhooks the chin.

FINALLY! A question where I won't screw up the answer! ;) Here, I looked it up: Devine Dream Drop - "The trademark finisher of Darryl Devine, it is his version of the Face Crusher." The Stone Hold - "The trademark finisher of Jeremy Stone. It is a variation on a regular crossface, except with Stone bring his legs further forward, stretching the victim's arm that he has trapped." New York Minute - "The New York Minute is the trademark finisher of Jack Bruce. It is a Fame Dropper, which Bruce has perfected so that he can hit it in a split-second to end a match." Minnesota Salute - "A trademark move of Joey Minnesota, it is a flying forearm from the top turnbuckle."
