SnDvls Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 in the FOFC-BBCF league I was recruiting a player (OT Melvin Anderson) I'm ASU and he committed to UCLA, however I never got an e-mail that he committed elsewhere and he is still showing up on my "Other Recruits" list each week as well. It will still allow me to spend money on recruiting him and to offer him a scholarship....it doesn't for anyone else that has committed though. If I hadn't been paying attention and saw that he was off my "recruited players" list I would still be wasting $ and an offer on him.
Veygan Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I've noticed that same scenario when a player is declared ineligible because of exam score. He's still on the recruiting list, and you are allowed to waste your time and money on him. Could this be what you are experiencing?

Veygan Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I understand. BUT...even if a player commits early and then fails his exams, he will be left on the recruit list. It might be a bug, I dont know. I have seen this scenario once or twice for my own college, and the player was left on the recruitment list...allowing me to waste time trying to get him. Example : Player A commits to my college, then the next week I received the notice of him scoring low on the exam and will be attending a junior college that year. Player A was still on my "watch list" and "player recruit" list. If it can happen to me, then its conceivable that it can happen to other colleges.
