Major stars from all over the country came out to announce Royal Ring Puroresu, a new company run by a collective of well known wrestlers. With daily opperations being handled by a board consisting of Kensuke Sasaki, Satoshi Kojima, CIMA, Masahiro Chono and Jushin Liger. With CIMA and Chono acting as the groups figureheads. Spokesperson Chono said "Royal Ring Puroresu promises to revitalize wrestling in Japan, and to spread the puroresu style to the farthest corners of the globe. We can not be stopped, our spirit is indominable." After they stated their mission, they announced that their first tour, R-Road Climax Inaugural: Royal Coronation '07, is scheduled to take place in Feburary and run straight through until the end of March, and will conclude with the R-Road Climax finals. They also announced the 12 of the 16 men involved in the R-Road Climax, and the list was indeed an impressive one. Satoshi Kojima, Masahiro Chono, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kensuke Sasaki, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Takeshi Morishima, Yoshihiro Takayama, Togi Makabe, Samoa Joe, Kohei Suwama and Daisuke Sekimoto where all announced as participants. The remaining four men are rumored to be announced soon, and should include at least one or two more big names.
