Work ruined another Smackdown for me this week. (random scheduals my foot!) I got off at 9:00 and got home only for the main event. It seemed pretty good although the audence was dead. And for a show where the cheers are added AFTER the show.... either someone called out today or the fans were just DEAD. I may as well open a thread up so we can discuss Smackdown anyhoo (I need someone to fill me in) And wasis just me...? Or does Batista seem.... smaller? I guess gold adds ten pounds.... but so do steroids. Biggest Pop: 1. Extreme Expose 2. The Great Khali 3. Umaga Best Heat 1. My Ex Girlfriend 2. Batista 3. Democracy in Iraq but seriously, please leave your own feedback of the show.

IT was a decent show, with Finlay/Kennedy vs. Batista Taker for the main event. I was installing a brand new PC for the living room, and trying to get it to work with wireless internet, but.... Well, it didn't work out that way. I ended up having to connect it normally, then go online to get all the stuff for it to be compatible with Vista (I hate Vista so far). Anyways, I hooked up a PC, PSP, and X-Box 360 the other day for wireless in about 20 minutes... This new computer with Vista, took me around 4 hours, two of were while watching smackdown.. so here is what I payed attention to (Mostly). London and Kendricks vs. Deuce and Domino... They could have won, but cheated and got caught, thus the belts did not exchange hands tonight. Kane terrorized Davari, then after the match (he easily won), Regal and his partner come to try and do an attack on him. Well.... After a good while (almost as long as Kane's match) Kane started getting the best of them, and they decided to run away. Batista and Taker's chemistry is pretty good in the ring... I'm seriously liking Batista against Taker more and more... And he seems a bit arrogant and smug....... I like that more, lol. The match was good, but the feud ends at backlash (Last man standing). Now, you have that going on and you have Kennedy graveling (the name Finlay called what he was doing) to Finlay, saying he is sorry for messing with Hornswaggle, etc.. Finlay says since it was the best graveling he's ever heard, he will let it go this one time, so no match between them. That's when Teddy comes out and says Ok, No match between you two, but your wrestling Undertaker and Batista instead. So you have two uneasy tag teams in that match, so the whole thing played between that most the time. Overall, it's starting to pick up a bit.. I give it three (3) Solid Stars *** for this week. I missed so much of it though, but the crowd seemed to be up on it's toe's tonight, so I still say if anything, I've rated it lower then it should have been (going by the crowd).

Seems like a pretty decent show..... I'm glad they're atleast trying to make Kane look like a monster again. I'm just hoping Barry Horowitzs doesnt drop by for Kane to job to.

Like DJ, I was watching on and off...everytime they advertise the Condemned, (which I believe they did twice), I just stopped watching. But it was a good show, from what I did watch. One match that hasn't been mentioned was Benoit / MVP non-title. I thought it was a very good match, and the best match of the night (though I'm admittedly biased). MVP gets better all the time, and the crowd were into Benoit; The "let's go Benoit" chants flowed like wine at numerous points during the match. The coolest spot was when MVP went for a delayed vertical suplex. In that upside-down position, Benoit fought out of it by nailing MVP with numerous knees to the head. MVP won while holding the ropes. I didn't watch their Wrestlemania match, so I wonder how that one went.

Yeah, I think it's easier for the crowd to get into it, when it looks like a valid threat. So MVP honestly looks like a valid threat at this point. I wanted to comment about Benoit a second. Seems to me that they had him lose to Cena to bring him down to MVP's level, and make it seem more viable. The way he lost and everything kind of humanized him, making it look like someone could catch him off guard and "beat" him at his own game (although no one believed Cena could). So I think I see an actual strategy there, thinking like TEW anyways. MVP working him like that at Wrestlemania, caught me off guard, but everyone that was watching cheered (in my house, while I was putting stuff together, lol) when MVP vs. Benoit was announced.

MVP is the goods. Seriously, if you caught any of his OVW stuff the man is an amazing athlete, so his performances don't surprise me. I still hate his outfit. But if they rotate the colors I can deal with it.

very inspiring that the man did all this while spending most of his life in jail for armed robbery. The crime was obviously bad, but the inspiring part is where he turns his life around from that to be the ultra charismatic, athletic heel purple power ranger we all know and love.
