MaxxHexx Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Ever since the patches I have been confused when sizes change in promotions. Most notably Tiny-Small. Please help. Thanks.
mystic Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 found this earlier Originally Posted by Alec_Burkhardt Getting back to the original post, based on tinkering around with the Editor, here's what I got: Popularity Requirements for Promotion Levels: {prior to patch 1.3} Local - default. National - over 71% {65%} in 75% of the regions in the home area, and over 35% {30%} in all of them. International - National at home, plus over 53% {40%} in 4 or more foreign regions. Global - National at home, plus over 65% {60%} in at least 5 foreign regions. The Editor doesn't give decimals, so the actual change might occur at say 10.1 for the move to Small. Or it might be at 10.9. Also, for International & Global, there's no requirement at all that the foreign regions be distributed. So you can be Global with popularity in just the USA & Canada if the numbers are there. **the changes are at .1**
MaxxHexx Posted April 14, 2007 Author Posted April 14, 2007 Does anyone know what it is after the patches?
mystic Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 unless another patch other than 1.3 changed the requirements, they are listed above in post 2
MaxxHexx Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 There is a 1.4 temp. I am at 10.4 and still local. If I can get to Small this month the added sponsorship bonus would keep me out of bankruptcy. Other wise I'm toast...
Derek B Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Although I'd have to check to be sure, I believe the local->small change is now at 15.1.
Moe Hunter Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Going by Letter grades, Cult you can be B+ at home and C+ everywhere else in your country, the change hits at B- for those other areas IIRC.

Rob4590 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Local to small will be at 11.1% - all the new size changes happen where a visible grade changes - and that is at 11.0 - 11.1 (F to F+)
WrestleManiac Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007
Local to small will be at 11.1% - all the new size changes happen where a visible grade changes - and that is at 11.0 - 11.1 (F to F+)
So that would mean: Local - default. Small - over 11% in one region. Regional - over 29% {30%} in one region. Cult - over 47% {45%} in two or more regions. National - over 65% {65%} in 75% of the regions in the home area, and over 35% {30%} in all of them. Is that right?

WrestleManiac Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 So, only small and regional have changed? Would you happen to know why? Am I the only one who hates that it's so hard to be a small promotion. I mean, it's easier to pull off a pleasing show, but it's harder to make money. But once you've got TV shows and PPVs the money pours in, but it's harder to pull off a pleasing show. Kinda balances out, I know, but since I'm attracted to the underdogs I think the little people need a break and upping the size requirements just seems like kicking 'em when they're down.
Rob4590 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 They all changed - the numbers in the brackets are the numbers pre v1.3 eg Cult went from 45% in 2 regions to 53% in 2 regions
Moe Hunter Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 National definitely takes more than what's listed there. Unless turning off other countries somehow distorts things.
