This Sunday, WWE presents the Royal Rumble, where legacies begin! Chris Jericho vs. The Corporation (Umaga and Samoan Seanoa) If Jericho can beat these two Samoan Bulldozers, he gets himself a shot at Shane McMahon's Intercontinental Championship. Can the returning legend get back to the top of the IC title division, or will Umaga and Seanoa simply out-muscle Y2J on his return to PPV? WWE Tag Team Championships: Deuce 'n' Domino vs. London and Kendrick Paul London and Brian Kendrick have been on a roll recently, and two weeks ago were named the number one contenders to Deuce 'n' Domino's tag team titles. This Sunday they get their shot, but can they regain the titles they held for so long, or will Deuce 'n' Domino keep on rolling? Number 1 Contenders Match for the United States Championship: Montel Vontavious Porter vs. The Boogeyman vs. Finlay With William Regal beating the late, great Chris Benoit for the US Title (thanks to WWE Champion John Cena), a new challenger is needed for the title. This Sunday we find it. All three men claim they deserve a title match, and at the Royal Rumble they get a chance to prove it. Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guerrero vs. Scotty 2 Hotty Scotty 2 Hotty has been on a roll this month, defeating John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Finlay and former Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms and drawing with Chavo in a tag-team match this past week on Smackdown. A couple of weeks ago, Guerrero blindsided and beat down the former Tag Team Champion, and tonight he gets a chance at revenge and the Cruiserweight Championship. Casket Match: World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton When The Undertaker debuted as a Raw-exclusive superstar, he was greeted with an apology from Randy Orton. However, this turned out to be a cunning ploy, as Edge attacked 'Taker. He defeated them in the following handicap match, but fell to them the weak after. Orton's been given this match by Eric Bischoff, but is a casket match really what he wants? Submission Match: WWE Champion John Cena vs. Dean Malenko John Cena cost Chris Benoit his United States Championship a couple of weeks ago, helping William Regal to victory and turning his back on the fans. The next week, they beat him down and painted his back yellow, calling him cowardly. Last week, Malenko was given a choice- a spot in the Royal Rumble, or a chance at revenge against John Cena in a Submission Only Match. Malenko chose to take the chance at avenging his late, great best friend Benoit. Royal Rumble Match! 30 men and one winner. 2 competitors start in the ring, and a new one enters every minute. To be eliminated, you are thrown over the top rope and both feet must hit the floor. The last man standing wins the match earns himself a main event match at Wrestlemania 23. This is truly the beginning of the long road to Wrestlemania; make sure you’re there to see it.

The following Raw has also been booked, got a high rating so hope you enjoy it. So yeah, feedback/predictions?

In front of a sold-out crowd of 15,000 at the Bradley Centre LIVE on PPV! Pre-show: & vs. & The pre-show match for the Royal Rumble 2007 is a tag team contest, between the team of “Ace” Chris Colton and Aaron Aguilera and Gene Snitsky and Santino Marella. Colton got a fairly good reaction when he made his way to the ring, because of his win a week ago on the due-to-be rejuvenated ECW on Sci-Fi. Aaron Aguilera made his way to the ring, with a few people recognising him from Smackdown this past week. Snitsky understandably got the biggest reaction, making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. Former Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella was out next, maybe hinting at a heel turn. 6:12 Colton hit a Steel Spike on the now-legal Marella, picking up the win. Winners at 6:13 “Ace Chris Colton and Aaron Aguilera Rating: D+ MAIN SHOW! I’m JR Jim Ross with not one but three broadcast colleagues! I’m sat next to Jerry “The King” Lawler and King, what a night we have in store! Lawler: Good God JR, on paper it looks awesome, and I know Raw will live up to the hype, but what about Smackdown? Tell us Cole! Cole: Well guys, thanks for having me, it’s a pleasure to be calling the Royal Rumble 2007. Now you don’t have to worry about Smackdown putting on a sow tonight, we’re gonna show Raw up big-style! We cut backstage, where Randy Orton is warming up. Lawler: You’ll struggle to beat the Raw main event tonight though, it’s that man- the Legend Killer- Randy Orton who’s gonna be going up against the World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker! I can’t wait! JR: Hold on a minute! By God, this is just wrong! We see Orton suddenly get grabbed from behind and pulled into the shadows. The camera cuts back to the main arena. Rating: B+ JR: Well, I don’t know what this means for the casket match later on tonight, but let’s get back to the show. It’s the opening match of the evening and it’s Chris Jericho vs. the team of Samoan Seanoa and Samoa Joe, representing IC Champion Shane McMahon and the Corporation. King, this should be good. Lawler: Here comes Jericho, and he doesn’t look phased. The man’s a legend, JR, and I can see him lasting a good 10 minutes before the Samoans overpower and beat him. JR: Wow, I have to say I’m shocked! Shane McMahon, our Intercontinental Champion, isn’t accompanying them to the ring! And it looks like Seanoa and Umaga are the only members of the Corporation out here tonight! vs. & 0:05 Jericho charges at Seanoa, but the crossbody attempt it blocked and turned into a powerslam. 1:43 Umaga charges at Y2J, who ducks, sending the huge frame of the Samoan Bulldozer into the referee. 2:10 Jericho is swinging a steel chair into Umaga, and eventually sends him over the top rope. 2:40 He sends Samoan Seanoa to the mat with a brutal swing of the chair, and places it on his chest, springboards and hits the Lionsault. 3:00 Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho, after hitting Umaga with a running plancha with the chair in hand. 3:08 Seanoa taps out, giving Jericho the win and making him the Number One Contender for the IC Title! Winner at 3:08 Chris Jericho Rating: C+ Jericho grabs a mic and gets back into the ring, as Umaga and Seanoa stand at the ramp. Jericho: Right, Shane! Looks like you got your next challenger…Y2J, baby! And like I said, the IC division and the WWE itself will never, e-e-e-ver be the same again! But Umaga…I didn’t beat you. I mean, sure, I beat you senseless, but I didn’t make you tap out. So how about this? You and me, right now, one-on-one. Rating: B JR: Jesus Christ! What a challenge! And… Shane McMahon is out here! What’s he gonna say? Shane: That was real brave of you Jericho. I get that you want to make a name for yourself, but it’s kinda stupid! I mean, you got lucky and bent the rules. But up next, you won’t. It’s a one-on-one match, yeah. Get to the ring Umaga! But wait! Chris…let me introduce the ringside enforcers…firstly, me. Secondly… The Great Khali! JR: Oh my God… Shane: …and… Kenny Dykstra! Also, Mr. Johnny Nitro! JR: That’s insane King! It’s basically 5 on 1! Shane: Woah, woah, woah! That’s not all, “lionheart”! It’s no holds barred! Oh and, one more thing…the FINAL enforcer…and the Smackdown representative of the Corporation… Christian! Rating: B+ Jericho gets ready to attack the 6 extra men, but is suddenly taken out by Umaga, with the steel steps! Lawler: Here we go! Jericho may have won the important battle, but he’s gonna lose the war! Rating: B 0:10 Jericho is attacked by Umaga instantly, who beats him senseless for a good minute. 1:23 Kenny Dykstra slips into the ring, and hits the legend with a low blow, before climbing to the top and hitting a huge Leg Drop! 1:57 Nitro climbs into the ring and begins to assault Y2J with a barrage of punches. 2:35 The Great Khali is in next, hitting Jericho with a huge Brain Chop, and then leaving the ring. 2:52 Christian sneaks behind Jericho, who is making it to his feet for the first moment in the match. He hits an Unprettier onto a steel chair, which is followed by a huge Splash from the top rope from Umaga, onto Jericho’s skull. 5:20 After more assault from Umaga, Shane McMahon gets into the ring and hits Jericho with the belt. 5:30 McMahon hits a Leap of Faith from…a ladder! This is followed from a Splash by Umaga and the win! Shane: You just gave Umaga a rematch Jericho! Haha! You lost the match, and also…your title match against me! Winner at 5:33 Umaga Rating: B+ Cole: Well, Chris Jericho just lost his title opportunity against Shane McMahon after already earning it once! It’s a damn shame that he lost like that under such terrible circumstances! However, up next Smackdown’s gonna show you how it’s really done, folks. It’s a WWE Tag Team Title match between the champs Deuce ‘n’ Domino and the team of Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Here’s how we got to where we are! A video plays hyping The Hooligans vs. Deuce 'n' Domino. Rating: D+ Cole: That’s the road, and here’s the end of the journey! It’s a tag team title match, London and Kendrick vs. the champions Deuce ‘n’ Domino, and this should be good! Then they roll back into the ring. 1:40 A thumb to the eyes allows the champs to roll their opponents back in once again, but then they just walk away. 1:59 The ref counts them out, giving London and Kendrick the win but no the titles! Winners at 1:59 London and Kendrick Rating: C Cole: Damn it! We should’ve had a damn good tag team championship bout, but Deuce ‘n’ Domino ruined it, walking out on the match! Well up next is the second of three Smackdown-exclusive matches tonight and here’s the story so far. Take a look. A video plays hyping The Boogeyman vs. Finlay vs. Montel Vontavious Porter, showing their promo with Theodore Long on Smackdown. Rating: C+ Cole: MVP, Finlay, The Boogeyman and a chance at the United States Title. Here we go! vs. vs. MVP makes his way to the ring, followed by Finlay and finally The Boogeyman. The match is announced as having a 10 minute time limit. 0:04 Finlay and MVP begin double teaming the Boogeyman, hitting a double clothesline as soon as the bell rings. 1:21With the Boogeyman outside the ring in pain, Finlay blindsides MVP with a chop block, taking him out at the right knee 1:57 Finlay is still working on the knee, applying a perfect leg lock to Smackdown’s most valuable star. 2:39 MVP rakes the eye of Finlay and struggles to his feet. He goes for a Suplex, but drops Finlay and falls to the mat, holding his right knee. 3:59 Montel rolls out of the ring and calls for medical attention, holding his knee in agony. Meanwhile, Boogeyman sneaks behind Finlay. 4:14 Seizing his opportunity, Boogey begins attacking Finlay, first with a Back Suplex. 5:14 A clothesline sends Finlay over the top rope, as MVP slowly gets back in the ring and the match. 6:45 Suddenly, after a minute of forcing the ref to intervene because of his knee injury, MVP jumps up and hits a running STO on Boogey, showing that his knee was fine. 8:10 Finlay and MVP are once again double teaming Boogeyman, who is sent down with a double Russian Leg Sweep. 9:59 Boogey gets back into it, and is hits Finlay with a Boogeyslam. However, it’s too late, as the count is interrupted by the ref ringing the bell- the time limit has expired. The match ended in a draw at 10:00 Cole: That didn’t solve a damn thing! The Boogeyman had that won, despite the double teaming of Finlay and MVP. Who’s our number one contender?! Rating: C+ Cole: One thing’s for sure- Scotty 2 Hotty is our number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship, and here he is, ready to face off against Chavo Guerrero! (C) vs. 0:18 Scotty 2 Hotty takes Chavo Guerrero down with a headlock takedown, but Guerrero slips out and gets Scotty in an armlock. 1:41 Scotty charges at Chavo, but Guerrero hits an arm drag. Hotty gets back up and runs again, but once again is met with an arm drag. 2:50 Chavo Guerrero hits a Manhattan Drop on Scotty, following through with a huge clothesline! 3:23 Chavo nearly gets the win with a Gory Bomb, but Scotty manages to get his foot on the bottom rope. 4:53 Scotty hits a bulldog, leaving the Cruiserweight Champ face-up, prone to the Worm! However, just before he hits it, Chavo rolls Scotty up, only getting the 2 count. 5:13 Guerrero goes to execute a hurricarana off the top rope, but it’s reversed into a Powerbomb! 6:59 Hotty hits a tornado DDT, only getting a 2 count 7:04 He follows it up with the Worm! The crowd go wild, but Chavo somehow manages to kick out! 8:43 A Frog Splash from Guerrero got the crowd on their feet. Hotty, ever resilient, just about got the shoulder up 9:46 Guerrero pointed to the ramp and nodded. Scotty, anticipating trouble, turned to look, leaving Chavo the opening to roll him up with a handful of tights, getting the win. Winner at 9:48 Chavo Guerrero Rating: C- JR: Well, maybe on the final Raw exclusive match of the evening, we can get a fair ending! If Orton turns up, I mean! Lawler: Here’s the World Heavyweight Champion JR, and his druids have brought the casket out. Wait a minute… JR: The casket’s been unlocked…my God! Orton just crawled out! The Undertaker must have abducted Orton at the start of the show, and locked him in the casket! Is that a sign of things to come? The bell has rung, and here we go! (C) vs. 0:03 Randy Orton has barely go into the ring before The Undertaker hits him straight back out and onto the now closed casket with a big boot to the skull. 1:34 Undertaker continues his assault, hitting a snake eyes onto the barrier at ringside. 2:59 Orton swings a chair and cracks The Undertaker in the face, knocking him onto the mat. 3:42 Randy Orton gets Taker onto the top rope…and hits an RKO to the outside! Orton charges and hits a baseball slide, sending Taker onto the thin padding on the outside! 8:40 The Undertaker is in the coffin, following a forearm from Randy that send him off the apron into the casket. Just as the lid is about to close, Taker sits up. 10:49 The two men are battling on the stage, when Orton tries to RKO Taker off the ramp! Taker manages to turn it into a Chokeslam, jumping off with Orton! 12:58 Both men are still down, with referees trying to decide what to do. 13:30 The ref decides to end the match, but just before the ref goes to ring the bell, The Undertaker drags Randy back up! 14:40 The Undertaker hits a Last Ride into the casket, then closes it on Orton, ending the match! Winner at 14:42 The Undertaker Rating: B+ JR: What an awesome contest between these two, who have a storied history together. But…my God why has Undertaker got that lighter fluid! Lawler: It’s all over the casket! Randy Orton is in there JR! Stop this! JR: Thank God! Orton has managed to push the lid into ‘Taker’s face and climbed out of the casket. He’s hit the champ with a low blow, and now he’s high-tailing it outta here! Rating: B Dean Malenko makes his way to the ring, followed by John Cena, who has a mic in hand. He stops at the top of the ramp. Cena: Tonight, I’m not sure if I should rap. I mean, it’s clear that you don’t really give a crap! But hey, since when have cared about your thoughts? Love me or hate me, you’re the ones who bought my merchandise, yeah. But now I’m gonna kick Malenko’s ass cos I hate his hair! Ok, that rhyme was bad, but like you could do better! Based on my ‘Mania opponent, I’m more like fire, but Malenko you’re just wetter! You think you can beat me? Only person who beats me is your wife! I’m gonna make your ass tap out…Word Life! Cole: Well, Cena’s finally got his wanna-be ass to the ring, and we can get ready to start this match! Rating: B+ Cole: This, ladies and gentlemen, is as personal as it gets. John Cena. Dean Malenko. Submission only and it’s all Smackdown! Dean Malenko refuses to quit and is still in the match! 9:26 Just as it looks like all is lost Cena sends Malenko to the mat and climbs to the top rope. However, he is crotched, and then hit with a top rope arm drag. 10:54 Cena manages to reverse a Suplex, then hits the FU 11:01 He locks Malenko in the STFU for the second time in the match! 11:59 Malenko takes out after nearly a minute in the hold, giving Cena a big win. Winner at 11:59 John Cena Rating: C+ Cole: Well, I hate to say it, but Cena was the better man! He mostly played The Man of 1,000 Holds at his own game, but was still able to utilise his unique style to his advantage. I do worry about Kane’s chances, however, in the Royal Rumble match, the main event, up next! JR: Well, Michael, so do I. Not only is he a Smackdown superstar, which must harm his chances in some way, but he also chose to enter at number 1! (1) (2) Kane and Jamie Noble start the rumble, being announced as the first and second entrant respectively. 1:00 Rob Van Dam enters the match, and takes the fight right to Jamie Noble. 2:00 Noble is chokeslammed over the top rope by Kane, and thus is eliminated. Meanwhile, Ken Kennedy comes back into the ring, met with a rocker dropper by Shawn Michaels! 28:00 The United States Champion William Regal is the final entrant, and that has to give him a huge chance. 32:42 Dykstra attempts to push Kane over the top rope, but is pushed over by Flair. 43:12 Kane chokeslams Jeff Hardy out of the match, followed by Master sending CM Punk out. 46:01 Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair team up to eliminate Batista. 47:59 Chris Masters is taken out next by Ken Kennedy, who looks ready to hit the Green Bay Plunge, but simply hits a fireman carry over the top. 50:23 Edge is very nearly eliminated by William regal, but holds onto the top rope, pulls himself back in part way, locks in the head scissors and flips Regal out of the match! 51:43 Kennedy takes out Edge with a huge spinning wheel kick, eliminating the former WWE Champion. 52:30 Shawn Michaels sends Kennedy over the top rope as he turns around, hitting the superkick. 54:32 The final elimination is Ric Flair, who’s sent over by HBK. The bell is rung, and Shawn Michaels has won the Royal Rumble! Winner of the Royal Rumble at 54:32 Shawn Michaels! We recieved news after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view that Hulk Hogan left WWE just the day before the show, and was replaced in the Royal Rumble match. Reports are that WWE only began negotiations 2 days before his contract was due to expire. McMahon apparently would not let Head Booker Alistair McGeorge go over a certain amount of money, and Hogan would only work for more than McMahon had offered. After hours of negociating, McGeorge brought the meeting to a close, with Hogan stating as he left the office that he will never sign for WWE as long as McGeorge is there, because he left negociations too late and they were not of a high enough value. Reports suggest that Hulk Hogan and Alistair McGeorge now hate each other, and it seems likely that they will never work together again. Harvey Crash, a new 17-year-old Road Agent in training has signed with WWE, and Alistair seems keen to keep him around. The pair get on very well, and are already best friends. McGeorge has apparently told Crash that he sees him on-screen in a year or so.

[IMG][/IMG] The following is all the latest rumours from Stamford, home of World Wrestling Entertainment. 1) ECW Roster announced! ECW has been given a full roster now, although it mainly has a strong undercard. Here's the full, official roster: Xtreme Champion: Elijah Burke Roster: Elijah Burke Rob Van Dam Tajiri Kevin Thorn Tommy Dreamer Marcus Cor Von Matt Striker Mike Knox Gene Snitsky The Sandman Stevie Richards Sabu Kensuke Sasaki Viscera Balls Mahoney Santino Marella Little Guido Maritato Abyss The Miz Jimmy Jacobs Jack Evans Alex Martin (Alex Shelley) Colt Cabana Rich Davin Sonjay Bhalla Drake Younger “Ace” Chris Colton K-Low Jimmy Rave 2) Smackdown! News: Smackdown! has been given 3 new talents. They are: "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters CM Punk "Ace" Chris Colton There are rumours that Christian will be turning very soon, having a ****y but humorous gimmick, and becoming a main eventer on the blue brand. Also turning will be CM Punk, and an inside source suspects that if/once William Regal loses the United States Championship he will become a main eventer himself. 3) Raw News: Similar to the Smackdown! news, "Y2J" Chris Jericho is expected to go into a headline feud following Wrestlemania 23, when his current storyline with Shane McMahon and The Corporation is expected to culminate. Of course, the storyline is getting a good response from fans thus far, so it may continue past April. This will depend on whether Jericho decides he deserves a main event push, which he will likely receive.

Shane: I’m with all of you. I feel your pain! I mean, tonight should have been an IC Title match, Shane O’Mac versus Y2J Chris Jericho! Chris, you did beat The Corporation. You pinned Samoan Seanoa, and earned yourself a shot against me. But you foolishly challenged Umaga to another match, which I interpreted as a rematch. You lost it, fairly I thought, and now you don’t have a title match. I’m not out here to blow my own horn, or insult Jericho. I’m out here, in MY ring to make a match to open the show. Ric Flair, get out here. Flair gets into the ring. Shane: Hey Ric, my man! How you doing? Unlucky last night, eh? You nearly won the Rumble…anyway, your match tonight. You’re facing off against a member of one of the greatest families in this business. He’s one of the greatest champions of all time! He’s a huge risk taker. I’d go so far as to say he’s one of the most legendary competitors in our company, a real fighting man. Your opponent… Here comes the money! Shane: This next match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Intercontinental Championship. Introducing first, the challenger…he’s from Charlotte, North Carolina. The Nature Boy- well, he’s going to be PART of nature very soon- Ric Flair! And introducing the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, from Greenwich, Connecticut…Shane McMahon! Rating: B- The bell is rung, and McMahon simply takes his jacket off, and will be wrestler in a shirt and pants rather than his usual wrestling attire. Shane takes the fight right to Flair in the early seconds of the match, not giving him room to breath. Flair managed to get back into it, and the pair traded offence for three minutes. Just over 5 minutes in... Chris Jericho jumped the barrier and knocked out Shane McMahon with a running Enzuigiri, giving Flair the DQ win to conclude a brilliant match between two workers who really clicked in the ring. Winner at 5:34 Ric Flair Rating: B+ The next match is an 8-man tag match, pitting the Worlds Greatest Tag Team and Cade and Murdoch against the tag team champs the Hardy Boyz, Jack Styles and Val Venis. It lasted a lot longer than the opening IC title match, suggesting that WWE management really does care about the midcard and tag titles. It was a fairly even contest, although Styles predictably didn’t get that much offence in. It ended at nearly the 12 minute mark, when Benjamin rolled Styles up with a handful of tights. Y2J…Lionheart…the legendary…Chris Jericho! Tonight, I should be bitching about how I was screwed out of my title shot last night at the Royal Rumble, but I think I got my revenge earlier. But believe you me…this ain’t over Shane…this ain’t over. But without further ado, let me introduce my guest tonight, he’s somewhat of a legend here on Raw is Jericho, never was a great WWE Champion, but he’ll do. You didn’t win the Royal Rumble last night, and your friend Randy Orton got put in a casket. How do you feel? Edge: Shut your damn mouth. Alright, look. I know you’re probably very excited that you beat 2 monsters, but hey…you lost the war! You lost too last night, and didn’t get your title match. So, it looks like you don’t have a very good argu- Jericho: Wah…wah…wah…wah…wah…wah…wah…oh sorry! I was just repeating your weekly promo, Edge! See, unlike you I don’t just talk about it, I back it up. You…you don’t. But hey, I’ve been given permission, by the board of directors, to make one match tonight. I just had a thought…Randy Orton…if he’s here…vs. Eugene…vs. Edge. If you lose…you never get a shot at me when I’m the Intercontinental Champion. Done? Good. Now, back to the interview! Edge: Oh real funny Chris, real funny. Ok, I’ll compete in the match and I’ll win! And IF you somehow manage to get a shot at the IC Title, and IF you somehow manage to win...I’ll be there waiting to beat you for it in your first defence. Edge hightails it out of there, leaving Jericho at the mercy of the Samoan Bulldozer. He trashes the set of the Highlight Reel, and clears the ring of the screen and chairs. He then pounds Jericho, before laying him out with a Samoan Spike, following it with a huge Splash off the top rope. Then, Shane McMahon walks to the ring. Shane: Right, get a ref out here. Good. Now, one-on-one…Umaga and Chris Jericho! Rating: B+ Umaga vs. Chris Jericho Umaga went straight for the pin, but Jericho managed to kick out. The match was awesome, lasting nearly quarter of an hour. The psychology was great, with Jericho only managing to get to his feet half way through. He wanted his moment of glory…and he nearly went out in a blaze of glory. Orton…you got out of the casket. I don’t want to continue this war. I won’t continue this war…because I beat you last night. Carrying a big stick and the USA flag…that’s not cool either, just another attempt at a cheap pop. Having a funny beard… Carlito feels his beard that’s not cool either. Carlito later hit HBK with a Backcracker, but Michaels kicked out. HBK and Taker had the match won in the 18th minute, after illegal man Taker hit the Chokeslam on the also illegal Dykstra. It has been leaked that Carlito and Kenny Dykstra were meant to win the match last night against World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and the Royal Rumble winner Shawn Michaels. However, HBK used his creative control to block that ending, forcing a change of plan. He only chose to tell management this, however, at the last minute, when the win had been promised to Carlito and Dykstra. In order to appease them, Alistair McGeorge has negotiated with Michaels, and reached a deal. So long as it is un-televised, Michaels and Undertaker will lose to Dykstra and Carlito on Smackdown. The match is scheduled to happen before the show, and may take up the available 20 minutes pre show. It will not be aired in any form, however, at the request of Shawn Michaels. It is understood that there is no bad blood between any involved, as they have been able to be mature and discuss this, and reach an agreement.

Yeah, I was a tad pissed off. I need Taker and HBK to lose to continue my storyline (it's one of the points), so I had to remove HBK's creative control clause for this weeks Smackdown!, book the match (which won't be typed up by the way, at "HBK's request") and then give it him back. Is that a good way of simulating the negociations? It's all done now, but just for the future?

The ECW Xtreme Championship Number 1 Contenders tournament was announced at the ECW show last night, and many were speculating the first round brackets. ECW have announced the opening matches, and the week they will appear on (Week 2 is next week, Week 3 the week after obviously and Week 4 is the Tuesday before No Way Out). Some details have been changed since Paul Heyman announced it- it was believed that the tournament will be over 2 weeks, with the title match at NWO. However, the final will be at No Way Out, and the winner will go on to face the champion at Wrestlemania 23! Week 2: Rob Van Dam vs. Marcus Cor Von (No DQ match, as are all first round matches) Stevie Richards vs. Tajiri Week 3: Kevin Thorn vs. Tommy Dreamer Sabu vs. Dean Malenko Week 4: RVD OR Marcus Cor Von vs. Kevin Thorn OR Tommy Dreamer (tables match, as are all second round matches) Stevie Richards OR Tajiri vs. Sabu OR Dean Malenko No Way Out 2007: Winners of the two semi-final matches (Extreme Rules Match)

This wouldn’t be a problem if he didn’t make a big entrance and was just “in the ring”, but he tried to play the part of a legit threat; it wasn’t convincing. Bobby basically decimated Lethal for nearly 2 minutes, before putting him away with a Spear. Winner at 1:43 Bobby Lashley Rating: D+ We cut backstage, where Finlay, The Boogeyman and Montel Vontavious Porter are arguing. Finlay: Look…Boogey. I know you THINK you had it won. But you didn’t. I would’ve won that match, and I should be the Number One Contender! There are no two ways about it. Boogey: Hahahahahaha! I’m the Boogeyman! And I’m coming…to getcha! MVP: What the hell?! Look, Finlay- you’re boring, uncharismatic and…well, you’re just not MVP, punk! Now, Boogey…you’re not even sane, dude! I should be the champ! The trio begin talking over each other as the camera switches back to the main arena. Rating: B- Deuce ‘n’ Domino vs. Aaron Aguilera and Funaki & vs. & The match was average. Funaki got a bit of offence in, but Aguilera hardly got a look into the match, until the end. Domino knocked Funaki off the apron, and Deuce hit Aguilera with a Crack in the Mouth, picking up the win. Winners at 6:39 Deuce ‘n’ Domino Rating: C- London and Kendrick appear on the ramp. London: That was real clever at the Rumble guys! I mean, tricking us into thinking you were gonna fight! Kendrick: Yeah, I mean why run? You said you could beat us, but you just ran away. You’re both cowards, but we’ve got a proposition. One more match, no count-outs! If you really are as great as you say you are, put the titles on the line once more. Four men, two belts and new tag team champions! If you can handle it, that is. Rating: D+ The next match is a non-title Triple Threat match between US Champion William Regal, Christian and The Boogeyman. vs. vs. Christian came out still as a heel tonight, so his face turn seems to be being delayed or scrapped. The three had a decent match together, with the crowd surprisingly loving Boogey. He’s steadily building momentum, and is becoming a big star. The ending came when Christian got the win over Regal with an Unprettier. Winner at 14:46 Christian Rating: B- Chavo Guerrero comes out next before his tag match (Chavo and Batista vs. Scotty 2 Hotty and Jimmy Wang Yang) Chavo: And still your Cruiserweight Champion…Chavo Guerrero! At the Royal Rumble, I used my athletic skill…my wrestling knowledge…my intelligence…to beat Scotty 2 Hotty. He’s not too bright, you see. Now, he has been on a roll, but I ended that, esse! I pinned Scotty for the 1-2-3, and kept this title around my waste. You tried and failed…I won, and I will keep the Guerrero name alive. Viva La Raza! Rating: C- His partner Batista joins him in the ring, followed by the entrances of Jimmy Wang Yang and then Scotty 2 Hotty. Batista basically brutalised Wang Yang when they were in the ring together, with Scotty and Guerrero exchanging offence rather evenly. The ending came when Hotty hit the champ with a Worm, picking up the win. I know I’m usually seen nowadays accompanying the lovely Mickie James on Raw, but tonight Theodore Long has asked me to come on the show. He’s booked WWE Champion John Cena to face Kane in the main event tonight, and he wants me to get his views. And looky here! It’s the champ! Wooo! Hey, I bet you’re gonna say I’ve got no class? Don’t really matter, cos I’m gonna kick Kane’s ass. At the Royal Rumble, I’d say it was easy as pie…I mean, I was just pulling Malenko’s neck up the sky. I thought it was gonna break, sure it was gonna snap. But in the end, I just made him tap. Tonight I’m gonna go out there and do the same; John Cena is gonna destroy the Red Machine Kane! Word Life! His moveset wasn’t too limited either, hitting a standing shooting star press, getting the near fall. Kennedy managed to pick up the win in the 7th minute with a Green Bay Plunge. I’m offering you a chance at redemption of sorts. Brian, you’re in luck, playa. We’re not quite ready for the main event yet so…up next it’s Brian Kendrick going one-on-one with…Finlay! Ya feel me? Holla, holla, holla! Rating: C- Finlay makes his entrance and the match begins! The two put on a match of the year candidate in less than 10 minutes! The action was back-and-forth, and the two gelled so well together. It seems logical that the two should be opponents again in the future, because it’s one of the best matches WWE have pulled this year that didn’t include Umaga! Kendrick got the win in the 9th minute with Dr. Smoothe’s Secret Recipe, bringing a close to a true technical masterpiece. I’m Jim “JR” Ross with Jerry “The King” Lawler and ringside and King, we’re starting off Raw with a bang! Lawler: That’s right JR- here comes the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, who interfered with John Cena’s match with Kane on Smackdown! He knocked him out with a Sweet Chin Music, letting Kane put the champ away with a Chokeslam. What’s he got to say tonight? HBK: Cena…if you’re not down with what happened this past Friday on Smackdown, I’ve got two words for ya…*suck it!*. You brought it upon yourself, son. Last week on Raw, although me and my very able-bodied partner The Undertaker were kicking ass, I personally was not happy with the way the match ended. I wanted a good, clean win but oh no! It was clear that you loving the sound of your own voice wasn’t the only reason you chose to be guest commentator. Well, you attacked me, I attacked you. It wasn’t a Christian thing to do, and to my God I apologise. But Cena, you drove me to it! So, on Friday, I took my chance and cost you the match. I, HBK, once again prove why I am THE BEST in the sports enterta- HBK is interrupted by Cena, who’s slipped behind him and driven him to the mat face-first with a clothesline. Cena begins to attack him, hitting an FU. He’s not finished though: Lawler: Now Cena has some of my respect JR- he gets things done HIS WAY! And here we go; he’s got him set up for the Back Suplex but wow! He just fell back, driving Michaels neck first into the turnbuckle! JR: And Shawn staggers forward, drops to one knee. Cena says you can’t see me, bounces of the ropes and DAMN! A running Throwback! HBK is out, and Cena’s standing tall! Rating: B+ The next match is the Hardys Boyz vs. the Worlds Greatest Tag Team. If Haas and Benjamin win, they get a shot at the titles at No Way Out! & (C) vs. & The match was quite good and fairly even. Jeff looked to have it won after he hit Haas with a Twist of Fate. However, Benjamin broke up the pin, saving his team. He tagged in, and hit a Superkick, then got the three count. At NWO it’s WGTT vs. The Hardys, tag titles on the line! Grisham: Please welcome my guests at this time, Shane McMahon and Kenny Dykstra. Firstly, Shane- why have you booked this handicap match pitting you and Kenny against Chris Jericho? Shane: Are you an idiot? He needs to be taught a lesson and tonight we teach it. He won’t be getting up from this, I promise you that. We will beat him, 1-2-3, and get rid of Jericho once and for all! Dykstra: Ain’t no two ways about it! It’s the present of the WWE- Mr Shane McMahon- and the future of WWE- me, Kenny Dykstra- against the past- Y2J Chris Jericho. The present and future will destroy the past, and put it where it should be- behind us! Rating: C- The next match is Val Venis vs. Corporation member Samoa Joe. vs. The match, in short, was terrible. It lasted far too long, as the workers really did not click at all. Venis managed to get the win, despite interference from Umaga and Johnny Nitro. Winner at 7:44 Val Venis Rating: D+ After the match, Venis flees from the ring as Armando Alejandro Estrada and his client Umaga get into the ring. McMahon hit Chris, interrupting the move. Kenny then rolled out of the ring, landing on the mat holding his chest. With McMahon distracted, Y2J hit a running Enziguri, before pinning the IC Champ. Winner at 11:47 Chris Jericho Rating: B- After the match, Jericho grabs a mic and stares at McMahon, who’s now holding his head at the stage. Jericho: Right, I just kicked both your asses! I deserve a damn title match. Shane, if you really want to represent this company be a man and give me the championship match I’ve earned! I beat Umaga and Seanoa at the Royal Rumble, I beat you and Dykstra tonight. He gets on his knees. Jericho: Mr. McMahon, I’m on my knees asking, no, begging, for the damn title match you know I deserve! Rating: B+ Shane: You know what…you’re right! You’ve now beaten four members of the Corporation. So, what the hell, I accept your challenge! If you beat The Great Khali next week! I act so high, I must be smoking we-" Bischoff: You two, shut the hell up! Cena, you’re a three time WWE Champion. Orton, you were the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history. You know what, since you’re here tonight, John, I can book you in a match. You two had better go get ready cos you’re facing each other…next! John, think of it as compensation, because as of right now...you are BANNED from being anywhere near the ring during the main event tonight! And you know what? Vince McMahon isn’t here tonight, so it’s my rules! Up next it’s an interpromotional match John Cena vs. Randy Orton…for Smackdown’s WWE Championship! Rating: B WWE Title Match: WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton (C) vs. The match was a bit awkward, as the pair unfortunately didn’t click. However, it was evenly matched, with Orton very nearly getting the win, but the RKO was reversed, sending him to the mat, which lead to an STFU. Orton hung in there though, and managed to reach the ropes. Moments later, however, Orton lost again when Cena pinned him following an F-U. Winner at 11:37 John Cena Rating: C+ Up next is The Undertaker vs. The Great Khali, non-title. It was apparently scripted beforehand by Sgt. Slaughter, which helped the rating. It ended over 10 minutes in when the brawl came to a head following a super-human Tombstone by Taker onto Khali. Winner at 11:49 The Undertaker Rating: B- Carlito comes to the ring once it is cleared. If I come back to the ring full time, it’ll be on my terms. So, I apologise to the fans, but I have to politely decline. However, I have someone who WILL accept your challenge. You’ll find out next week. USA! USA! USA! USA! Rating: C- The main event is next: Ric Flair vs. Umaga vs. Shawn Michaels. The match was typically amazing, all three men having shots at winning. HBK somehow kicked out after a Samoan Spike, Umaga powered out of a Figure Four Leglock and Flair managed to get a shoulder up following a Sweet Chin Music. However, the Figure Four prevailed in the end, when HBK tapped out giving Flair the win. Winner at 13:50 Ric Flair Rating: A FINAL RATING: B- Any feedback? ECW will probably be posted tomorrow.

Now that we're well and truly on the Road To Wrestlemania, we have something special to announce here at The Wrestling Report. Starting tonight, we will present a new interview with someone involved with WWE each week leading up to the Superbowl of our sport! This will be out of kayfabe, and unscripted so you can be sure that they're not being told what to say and not to say. The first interview is with the new Head of Creative, the man in full control of WWE so to speak, Englishman Alistair McGeorge. The Wrestling Report: Hi Alistair, thanks for taking the time to talk to us before the ECW show tonight. How's the ride with WWE been so far? Alistair McGeorge: I've loved every minute of it! I know Paul [Levesque (AKA Triple H, Head of Creative for just about a week before McGeorge was appointed)] might not be to pleased (laughs), but he's begun training for his return, which is still a while off by the way. So basically, I've come in and tried to keep his Ultimate Championship storyline going. TWR: One story we heard, and reported on, was one concerning you and Shawn Michaels, primarily. Can you shed any light on that? AM: Well, I would firstly like to say that it's all fine now, we're no worse off in terms of our professional and personal relationships. Long story short, I wanted him and Mark [Calloway (AKA The Undertaker)]to job to Kenny Dykstra and Carlito, but Michaels didn't feel it was the best for business. There wasn't much I could do, because he has a creative control clause in his contract. So I gave him and 'Taker the DQ win, then began talking to Shawn about it. In the end, we came to the agreement that he would lose, untelevised, at Smackdown the same week. It wasn't ideal, and not all fans know about it, but it got a small mention on our site. TWR: Ok, thanks. Now, moving on- you did a tribute show for the late Chris Benoit, despite the horrible circumstances surrounding his wife's, his son's and his own deaths. Why? AM: I don't want to get into a debate about it all, hell CNN and Foxnews do enough of that. I will say that I see no problem at all in a professional wrestling company airing a tribute show in memory of the greatest professional wrestler of all time, matched only by the late, also great, Eddie Guerrero. Next question, please. TWR: Well, we know you're a busy man so this will be the last question; have you got any big plans yet for Wrestlemania 23? AM: (Laughing) Obviously! I know the vast majority of the matches that will definately take place, workers' health permitting. I can also say that there WILL be a huge return at the 'Mania, but that's all I'm prepared to say until the night after Wrestlemania 23.

I’m Joey Styles with former sell-out Tazz. Tazz: Hey Joey, that was a bit low. Anyway, I don’t hold grudges so you’re lucky! We’re gonna kick this show off with a bang- Abyss makes his singles debut against someone I feel so sorry for! Abyss vs. El Generico vs. The match was too long for the squash match it was. Abyss just brutalised Generico for nearly 10 minutes in the no-DQ match but no-one really cared. It ended when he hit the Black Hole Slam, picking up the predictable win. His guest is Balls Mahoney. Striker: Hello fans. I am Matt Striker, you’re teacher. Tonight I will be interviewing one of the lowest forms of LIFE in ECW, or even the world! Balls Mahoney…why do you use such crude language? I mean, shouting your first name to get some childish giggles when you punch someone…it’s pathetic. *writes pathetic on the blackboard* Show some intelligence. Try this…testicles…testicles…testicles…*every time Striker says “testicles” he slaps Mahoney* Mahoney: I dare you to do that one more time. *Matt backs away* Good choice. I’m out here to try and make some sort of statement. So, come on out Kensuke Sasaki, I’m challenging you to a match, right now! He comes out. Sasaki: Balls Mahoney…Kensuke Sasaki? You’re on! Rating: C- Balls Mahoney vs. Kensuke Sasaki (No DQ) vs. Not a great match by any means, it looks like this episode isn’t going to be that great. It ends nearly 8 minutes in when Mahoney hits the Ball Breaker. The only event of any interest was when Sasaki sent Mahoney onto barbed wire, slashing Balls’ leg. Winner at 7:55 Balls Mahoney Rating: C- Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring, to a massive pop. He bows to all sides of the crowd, before getting a mic. Heyman: This time, we’re gonna last! We’re on worldwide television and we’re not gonna lose out this time! WCW is dead. WWE…watch out! EC F****** W is back, bitch, and we’re here to stay! Crowd: E C Dub! E C Dub! E C Dub! Heyman: Up next, we begin our Number One Contender Tournament, to find out who will face our ECW- NOT WWE- Xtreme Champion at Wrestle-f******-mania! Stephanie McMahon…Shane McMahon…Eric Bischoff…Theodore Long…Vincent Kennedy McMahon…at Wrestlemania 23…we’re taking control! After Wrestlemania 23…EC F****** W takes control! We will riot, we will attack and damn it we will take the whole wrestling world by storm! After Wrestlemania 23…Vince McMahon…bring it, bitch! Crowd: Bring it bitch! Bring it bitch! Bring it bitch! Rating: B- Stevie Richards vs. Tajiri, No DQ vs. The match was quite poor, considering to two wrestlers. Tajiri was good in the match, however, but the fans are just used to seeing Richards losing so much they were just expecting a squash. In the end, it was the predictable but sensible ending when Tajiri picked up the win following the Buzzsaw Kick. Winner at 10:13 Tajiri (who advances into the next round of the N1C tournament) Rating: C After the match, Dewey Larson (who has since been fired, amongst others including Kelly Kelly, and Maryse), Harvey Crash and Mickie Henson try to help the fallen Stevie Richards up. Styles: Oh my God! Stevie Richards just laid all three men out with a steel chair. Now he’s got Harvey Crash…oh my…he won’t! He wouldn’t! Tazz: Well, he’s an ECW Original, so I’m guessing he would! He just covered Crash in lighter fluid, and that table Joey! Styles: OH MY GAAAHD! Stevie Richards just set the table on fire, and sent a ligher-fluid-soaked Harvey Crash through it with a Suplex! *A chant of “holy ****” breaks out* Rating: D It’s now the main event, another No DQ match: Rob Van Dam vs. Marcus Cor Von in a first-round match of the N1C tournament. vs. The two really didn’t click, and the match suffered for it. Being honest, it was a poor end to a poor show. It mercifully finished nearly 10 minutes in when Van Dam pinned Cor Von with the Five Star Frog Splash. Winner at 9:57 Rob Van Dam (who advances into the next round of the N1C tournament) Rating: C- OVERALL: D- the crowd seemed to be getting bored during the matches, suggesting that a bit more time should have been spent on interviews and other angles. However, the tournament had to get started and I thought the other two matches would be better than they were. A disappointing show.
