Arlie Rahn
No, each team will have only one stadium.
Jimmy Spamer
When a non-conference game is scheduled, is it possible to have it played in a neutral field? Maryland-Navy at M&T Bank Stadium (Raven's) and I'm sure there are plenty of other examples.
Arlie Rahn
Bowl games and playoffs will be on neutral fields - same with conf. championships. But all regular season games will have a home and away team.
yc324
I guess this means no Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl...
smartman
Yikes, I had forgotten about that one. The problem is that it would be a little too hard to program because if you let one game be played at a different stadium, how would the AI know which game to put it at, plus the human player could use it to cheat by putting a game on in a huge stadium they wouldn't normally get to use irl. I wish there was a way to do it and maybe Arlie can work on it for next year's version, but I don't want him thinking about it while he's working on the game engine. Miral
I think on the overall scheme of things, this is a nice feature, but so far down on the list of actual significance to the game, it doesn't really matter, so not worth the programming time. As an OK Fan, I'd love to see a Red River shootout, but heck, once the actual game starts, it doesn't matter to the head coach what stadium we're playing at, but how we're going to beat the opponent.
