WWE Aftermath - The Beginning [center][img]http://www.tewmods.com/diary/gfx/aftermath.png[/img][/center] [b][SIZE="3"][FONT="Arial"]Stamford, CT // September 2007 -[/FONT][/SIZE][/b] [SIZE="2"][FONT="Arial"]Vince McMahon still has not been seen since his limo exploded on June 11th, the RAW Draft special. Many changes have happened in the title scene and a report on them to follow.[/FONT][/SIZE] [CENTER][b][SIZE="4"][FONT="Arial"][COLOR="Red"]RAW Titles[/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE][/b][/center] [b]WWE Heavyweight[/b] - Bobby Lashley made his RAW inaugural debut in stunning fashion, winning a battle royal to become the number one contender to champion John Cena's belt. After failure during his first attempt, Lashley turned heel attacking Cena whenever permitted. Picking up Armando Alejandro as a manager (AAE left Umaga, due to Umaga's constant siding with Vince McMahon leaving him unprotected.) Lashley has been destroying the ranks of the WWE ever since. Finally at SummerSlam, he became King of the Mountain when he defeated Cena for his World Title. [b]WWE Women's Champion[/b] - Mickie James has had a tough road since first losing the title to Melina. She has overcome various odds, and has held the title twice since draft day. After winning it from Melina, she lost it the following night to Victoria thanks to interference from Melina. Thanks to a rematch clause in her contract, two weeks after losing the belt to Victoria she took it back again, as Melina tried to run interference but got intercepted by Candice Michelle. [b]WWE Intercontinental[/b] - Santino Marella has become the modern-day 1-2-3 Kid, as he pulls out miraculous victory after miraculous victory. First it was his streak of victories over Chris Masters on RAW, followed by an interpromotional feud with Kevin Thorn, with the coup de grace being a victory over Kenny. [b]WWE World Tag Team[/b] - The tag belts were in limbo for a while, and Cryme Tyme took advantage. Cade and Murdoch were scheduled for a long title reign, but there was a scheduling conflict as Cade could not get a new contract worked out in time. Jeff Hardy was also out nursing a knee injury. This put the tag belts in jeopardy, and the WWE panicked, having Cryme Tyme start a surprise winning streak and taking the belts off of Cade and Murdoch. [center][b][SIZE="4"][FONT="Arial"][COLOR="Blue"]Smackdown! Titles[/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE][/b][/center] [b]World Heavyweight Title[/b] - Edge has yet again proven why he is the ultimate opportunist. He has also proven why he is the companies biggest weasel. After The Great Khali got drafted to Smackdown! he went on a streak of terror and vengeance chasing after Edge for over a month. After Edge somehow convinced Teddy Long to make his match at SummerSlam with Khali a no-DQ match, Edge then connived Mark Henry into running interference for him, promising The Silverback a title shot in the process. Whether or not Edge will honor his word is yet to be seen. [b]WWE Tag Team Titles[/b] - In a surprise move, the World's Greatest Tag Team both were drafted to SmackDown in the supplemental draft that happened 6 days after the televised RAW Draft Special. They made it their ultimate goal to take the tag titles, and at SummerSlam they finally succeeded taking on The Hooligans and Deuce 'n Domino in a Triple Threat Title match. Charlie Haas proved invaluable as he scored the pinfall when Deuce and Brian Kendrick were fighting each other on the outside, leaving Shelton Benjamin open to make sure Paul London did not break up the pinfall over Domino. [b]WWE United States Title[/b] - MVP has proven why he truly is the Most Valuable Player on Smackdown!. He has really shone over the past few months, not backing down from many challengers (although he did shirk The Great Khali one time.) His lastest title defense has come at the expense of Matt Hardy. [b]WWE Cruiserweight Title[/b] - The cruiserweight title has almost become an afterthought, not being defended in the past 3 months. Whether that is Chavo lieing and cheating his way out of it, or a way to gradually phase it out is yet to be seen. [center][b][SIZE="4"][FONT="Arial"][COLOR="purple"]ECW Titles[/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE][/b][/center] [b]ECW World Heavyweight[/b] - Chris Benoit won this title in the ECW World Title Tournament that culminated at SummerSlam by defeating The Boogeyman in the qualifier, Tommy Dreamer in the semi-final, and CM Punk in the final match of the tournament. CM Punk got to the final, some say by taking the "easy route", but there is nothing you can do about the way the bracket turns out. He took on Balls Mahoney in the qualifier, and Stevie Richards in the semi-final before ultimately losing to Benoit.

He claims to be fully recovered from the concussion received at the hand of Randy Orton in the beginning of June, but will Shawn Michaels be the HeartBroken Kid tonight after he faces Ken Kennedy?[/SIZE] [SIZE="3"][b]**Sweet n' Sour**[/b][/SIZE] - [SIZE="2"]Cade and Murdoch are steaming last night after their title loss to Cryme Tyme...
