Manimal
Playing as CGC I put the World title on Eddie Chandler and made him my biggest star, making him like Christian Cage in TNA manipulating people like Dan DaLay to keep the title on him. Now his contract is up in a month but he won't resign because "We aren't big enough" I was going to have him lose the title to Dan DaLay at the next PPV anyway because I thought he would sign a PPA contract and I'd rather have my World champion exclusive to CGC, but instead it looks like it's plan B, have Dan DaLay bury him at the next TV taping! Luckily he refused a new contract before I annouced his match for the PPV! He'll probably go to North of the Border Pro.
Lucied
You could try burying him to lower his popularity, and then negotiating a new contract. I think the whole "big enough" thing has to do with popularity. And some other factors, too. I don't know what all goes into it, really. Playing The Fall, I'm playing as Fusion Pro Wrestling. Booker T said that I wasn't big enough to re-sign him (I ended up extending his contract via the editor) when he had about A in popularity. While CM Punk, who I signed in the first week of the game, has an A* popularity in April 2002, and he's willing to re-sign. But his asking price is too large, and Austin is blocking me from re-signing him. (Though I do have a couple months before it runs out.) But, knocking his popularity down a grade or two might get him to reconsider.
Manimal
Thanks, I think I might try that!
Extreme_Athlete33
Being this the second time I've read this topic, I've come to a new conclusion that may make you wonder. I could be wrong, but... Possibly you should call yourself an SOB :p ...There may be a possibility that you're such a good booker, you made him so good now that he only wants to work for bigger promotions. Never know, but it could have been your genius work the entire time ;)
Manimal
If I'm such a good booker why do my TV shows only get C- ratings and I am told they hurt my popularity :( I think my problem is I liked Eddie Chandler so much I pushed him at the expense of everyone else. Sensai of Mattitude
Could you not move the next PPV forward a few weeks so that Chandler can appear on it? That way the big title change doesn't have to take place on a TV taping, presuming that you are going to be losing him.
flamebrain
Bury the ingrate! See if he still thinks you're not big enough when he's in the poor house! :D
Manimal
His contract doesn't expire until after the next PPV but I would have to keep him strong if I had the title change then so I'd rather have him drop it at the next taping then bury him for the rest of his contract. Dragonmack
Chandler almost always gets picked up by NOTPBW even if he signs a PPA contract with you after the written expires. Best to job him out as much as possible before he walks.

I'd much rather keep somebody strong and get some excellent last matches out of them than have a main event title change at a TV taping and then bury them for the rest of their contract, personally. ubernoob
I'd personally job him out, try to get him to rub some overness off on new stars.
