Guest Ransik
Just one week away... the ETWA's annual Red White & Bruised event comes to you again from the North Troy Legion in North Troy, Vermont. Bell time is around 4pm, so if you want to catch all the action be sure to be there by at least 3:30pm. This event will be free of charge as it is part of the North Troy Fair. So far two matches have been 100% confirmed for the event. The Main Event will feature the ETWA Heavyweight Champion The Buzzard defending his Championship against "Misled Youth" Jaba King. Also a No Disqualification match will feature the ETWA Canadian Champion AJ Starr against Victor Adams... but this will be a non-Title grudge match. This event will mark exactly 1 year after Buzzard claimed the Title... will he be able to retain the Title or will Jaba King become the Champion in his first bid for the gold? The Misled Youth has been with the company for about 4 years time and is a former multi-time Cruiserweight Champion, but has never been granted a shot at the gold before. This could very well be his only shot at Buzzard, who has held every Championship within the ETWA over his 9 year career. The 5 year anniversary for Victor Adams and the 6 year for AJ Starr as pros will bring their long and storied rivalry to a head as they battle No DQ in a non-Title affair. Starr has deemed Adams unworthy for a shot at his 15 month reign as Canadian Champion, and he will have to prove himself as #1 contender by defeating the Champion. Starr is undefeated in 1 on 1 competition at Red White & Bruised while Adams has never won at the event... streaks that started 5 years ago when Starr beat Adams in VA's debut in the company. Will history repeat or will Adam's earn a shot at the Title? So folks make plans to be there... the ETWA roster will be there in full force. Scheduled are the following; Sack Jackal Dougie Fresh Josh Knight Archangel Aaron Fire The Separatist Dr. Serious The Boss And maybe a few surprises! Rumors are going around that former ETWA Shaun Steele will be at this event as well. I've also been told this show will feature a dedication to the memory of one of our own; Gene L'Etoile who wrestled as "Gene Joseph," who recently lost a battle with cancer, as well to the family of Mackie Schrody who suffered a tragic loss this week. So please come show your support!
