Von Dozier
Just a quick question. In the Productions under your company controls, you can set Event Distribution to DVD/Home Video, Internet, or none. Say I set it to Internet. Would that actually give me a popularity boost when shows run? Or is that simply there for.. no reason?
Sensai of Mattitude
No, it does give you a small popularity boosts in other regions (only in regions in your country, I believe).
Von Dozier
Awesome, cool to know. Does it work with PPVs? I had to switch to a weekly PPV format cause I lost my two TV shows (ugh I hate when mods start with your shows getting cancelled the next month and theres nothing you can do about it)
Remianen
No, it does give you a small popularity boosts in other regions (only in regions in your country, I believe).
No, I think it's worldwide. Something like 0.1% per show in all regions of the world, except the one(s) the show is held in or broadcast to (which gets whatever the show's rating warrants). Dragonmack
I believe it's actually .2% worldwide I have done games with internet distribution and after 50 shows I was 10% everywhere worldwide in places that weren't in or adjacent to where I have run the shows. mad5226
Dragonmack is correct its .2 percent worldwide, although I'm fairly confident that it's still based on performance. I only say this because I've noticed a few shows where my pop didnt go up afterwards, and it was because my final rating was lower than expected. markhenry
It is worldwide, but goes up quicker in your home nation. Maximum it goes up too is E+.

Doubt I'll bother with it now in my current PGHW game, as I was wondering whether or not it would help me break into other countries. My popularity there has already exceeded that cap, so you've answered that question for me! :D
