mad5226
Time for a little experiment. I've started about 100 differant C-Verse games since I got it I think. And one think I've noticed is while each game is slightly differant it seems that the same workers always get the same pushes unless there is some outside interferance (the user). So I want to compile a list of workers who stay in the unemployment line pretty much the entire game and throw then in a company (probably USPW because they have a tv deal and are still small). I want to see how this will effect the outcome of the game X amount of years down the line. Who knows maybe Cal Sanders will finally win the SWF championship. Would anyone be interested in me posting my discoveries on here? And another thing I need is for people to let me know who the "real jobbers" are. The people who when u play go the whole game without being picked up.
SadisticBlessings
I'd definitely read the results, though I have a feeling they'd be somewhere along the lines of... "After a year and a half the promotion went bankrupt, and all the workers wound up back on their respective country's independent shows for the rest of the game." :D

Lilly & Rose are permanent jobbers/unemployed in your games?! They were the first ones I looked at! Unfortunately I didn't look at other workers / see them soon enough, and my Owner's Block of "No basics skill below B-" horks me for that. Bummer. I had a feeling I should have looked at hiring sooner... Speaking of which, are "unemployed" workers assumed to be in the Independant Circuit, and if so do their stats and abilities increase with time? I'm rather hoping to not have to wait two years for the Owner's Block to expire or edit the database (which, since I'm a purist of sorts, seems cheezy to me). I love those two! They're cute, make a great looking pair, and seem to have great potential. And they're cute, too! Of course, not being a TEW guru, I'm probably off base liking them. I just have more of a gut/emotional feel for them than a game-mechanics one. And they're cute, too! *smirk* ----- {edit} Holy cow! I just took a look at Paige Croft. She's great! Good potential, and you almost can't beat her look. And she's cute too! If I could bring her in, between Croft, Missy Masterson, my user character Karen Sorrenson, Buttercup, and Roz Larren, it'd be like Invasion of the Tousle-headed Blondes. :D Gotta love that... ;)

Many of the so-called "jobbers" are actually really good workers (Cal Sanders, Kashmir Singh, etc) who can easily be covered for. Cal with a good manager can be an excellent worker, for example, especially if the promotion's focus is more on in-ring work than the sideshow. But Japan, for example, has SO much top tier talent, including the gaijins, that many of their local workers can't break into the big promotions (and can't catch the eye of the big 2 enough to warrant a development deal). Plus, few players actually have the patience to develop workers. Seems many folks want ready made superstars (which is why people like Champagne Lover, Hell Monkey, and Steve Flash never go without a paycheck).
