shamelessposer
Gay (worker would only form romantic relationships with others of the same gender with this box checked, probably with a lower frequency of initiating romantic relationships than others due to the reduced dating pool in the industry) Promiscuous (worker less likely to form romantic relationships, and those that do form are more likely to break up) Married (worker married to someone outside of the business) Personal Demons (worker's morale sometimes fluctuates, more likely to develop negative personal traits, maybe more likely to die early) Recovering Alcoholic (worker would have a slightly increased chance of death due to wear and tear earlier in life, and would run the risk of backsliding into alcoholism with enough personal setbacks or low morale) Former Drug Use (similar to Recovering Alcoholic) Not Religious (worker has fewer moral qualms about high risk gimmicks/angles, and may be more likely to come into personal conflicts with anyone with the Very Religous box ticked) Teacher (worker is more likely to form mentor/protege relationships with other members of the roster, and randomly generated workers may start as the protege to this worker) Samoan (worker gets an immediate Blood Relative note with every other worker with this box checked, simulating the huge Samoan wrestling families in the real world and the Cornellverse)
shamelessposer
Yes, I know, it's the wrong forum. I've already reported the thread so it can get moved.
Moe Hunter
Samoan (worker gets an immediate Blood Relative note with every other worker with this box checked, simulating the huge Samoan wrestling families in the real world and the Cornellverse)
LMAO! It does seem sometimes like everyone in Samoa is related, but it's not literally the case. One thing I found odd is that in TEW07 making a new blood relation to someone doesn't add that person's existing blood relations to the person you're adding, like it did back in EWR. Your cousins might not be related even though you are blood relatives of each. They could be on different sides of your family.
DeleTe
Shouldnt there be like a Straight Edge box to.. Since, well. Their are some SxE now in the wrestling world.. And it should simulate that they will never get an drug overdose and likely.
Day_Dreamer
About the first sujjestion (gay), a few months ago, I made a thread in the sujjestions forum which got a huge response ultimately leading to the closure of the thread and everybody labeling me homophobic. So, I'd take that out of the thread just to be safe from all the politically correct.

That's a good idea, because in Jay Lethal's case, it would need to be checked.
PeterHilton
Having just now read through that other thread, i think shamelessposer's suggestion about dating relationships is completely different than the first thread. And it certianly doesn't have the same tone or effect on the game. Also, having just read through that first thread, I must say I have a very different opinion of some of the people on this board. Also, I LOVE the Samoan and Teacher ideas as well.

Day_Dreamer
I dont know if you totally read the sentence, the reason for the low frequency in relationships is written right next to it, because of the reduced dating pool in the industry. You inferred the ribbing aspect.

You inferred the ribbing aspect.
I'll explain this a wee bit better. If you're straight, initiating a romantic relationship comes down to two basic factors: 1.) Is this person in the (90-98% of their gender) group who's biologically compatible with me? 2.) Do I dig this person? If you're gay, it comes down to two basic factors: 1.) Is this person in the (2-10% of their gender) group who's biologically compatible with me? 2.) Do I dig this person? Basic math means that if you're gay, you're probably less likely to come across people during day-to-day, casual socialization that you'd be interested in dating (unless you frequent gay bars during your leisure time, which is something you probably don't have much time to do if you're on the road as much as a pro wrestler). Hence my suggestion of toning down the relationship generation for anyone with the "Gay" box ticked. I'll be happy to change my opinion on the subject, though, if a member of the gay community comes along and says "You've got it all wrong, Poser! We've got a Secret Gay Handshake and decoder rings and everything, so it's eleventy billion times easier for us to get together than it is for you!" And then I'd look at my pitiful, pitiful excuse for a dating record, and then look at the gay community with jealousy and begin constructing my Angst-Powered Giant Robot, engine of destruction of those who have stuff to do on Saturday nights. Then you will all rue the day you had social lives... wait, what?
