Need Some Help

The Stallion

Recommended Posts

OK, for those of you who are computer savy I have a question. I have a HP laptop dv5000 series. I want to be able to hook up my video game systems to the computer so I can use the monitor as a screen. The reason I want to do this is, as most of you know, I am in the Navy, and I would like to take my X-Box 360 with me and use my laptop screen to play. First, is this possible? Second, what do I need to do this? Thanks in advance guys!!!

Im not sure if I have a circut city around here but I will find out.
If your still in Groton: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/processAddress.do#allStores You could also try Staples: http://stores.staples-locator.com/staples/advantage.adp?transaction=search&searchQuantifier=AND&maxSearchResults=20&pageresults=20&pwidth=475&country=US&county=&address=&city=groton&stateProvince=CT&postalCode=&recordId=&radius=20&x=16&y=7 or even Radio Shack (although i dislike them): http://www.radioshack.com/storeLocator3/index.jsp?clickid=rsk_header_storeLocator

In layman's terms! Get a tv card, either a usb or pci one.... as long as its got an aerial connection on it. Hopefully that should work. I used to run a PS1 through my tv card, onto the monitor for ease of use. The picture can be a bit off at times, (colour will look different) prob more to do with the monitors frequency and refresh rate
