The Stallion
OK, for those of you who are computer savy I have a question. I have a HP laptop dv5000 series. I want to be able to hook up my video game systems to the computer so I can use the monitor as a screen. The reason I want to do this is, as most of you know, I am in the Navy, and I would like to take my X-Box 360 with me and use my laptop screen to play. First, is this possible? Second, what do I need to do this? Thanks in advance guys!!!
Astil
Take a trip down to Circuit City. They'll hook you up.

joose2001
In layman's terms! Get a tv card, either a usb or pci one.... as long as its got an aerial connection on it. Hopefully that should work. I used to run a PS1 through my tv card, onto the monitor for ease of use. The picture can be a bit off at times, (colour will look different) prob more to do with the monitors frequency and refresh rate

ubernoob
Yeah, if you have a TV card with video inputs (i.e. RCA jacks, Component Cables, whatever) you can hook it in. Not saying it will work the best, but anything is better than nothing, no?
