I've been playing TEW for a while now and quite honestly, it's starting to get somewhat stale for me, so I figured I'd make a dynasty out of my current game. I don't really have any kind of backstory or anything like that, mostly because I'm already two shows into my game, so I'm pretty much going to make an attempt to catch everyone up to speed and then going from there. [B][I]Arik Cannon Tyler Black B-Boy Metal Master Danny Daniels Austin Aries BJ Whitmer Samoa Joe[/I][/B] [B][U]Dave Crist Recovering From Injury[/U][/B] Dave Crist, one half of Irish Airborne with his brother Jake Crist, has sustained a broken foot and will be out of action until November. Though this will slow down IA for the time being, it has certainly not slowed down Jake, as he will be taking on Hallowicked at the next PWR show in October. With the heavyweight championship to soon be crowned, the tag team titles won't be far behind, and both members of Irish Airborne will definately want their shot at the belts. [B][U]Samoa Joe To Make His PWR Debut[/U][/B] After being unable to attend PWR's Breaking The Barrier show due to scheduling conflicts, Samoa Joe will finally make his debut in November as he will take on Austin Aries. [B][U][SIZE="5"]PWR A Path To Glory Official Results[/SIZE][/U][/B] [B][U]Jay West vs. Jigsaw[/U][/B] Jay vs. Jigsaw was a great opening bout and really set the pace for the rest of the night to come. The match started off with some really nice chain wrestling, then the pace quickly jumped up a notch as both men hit a flurry of arm drags. Jay stayed in control most of the match, but a quick fire up from Jigsaw threw West off his game. Jigsaw was finally able to hit the Jig 'N' Tonic to score the win. [B][I]Match Rating:[/I][/B] [B][U]Akuma vs. Shane Storm[/U][/B] Similar to the opening match, Storm and Akuma started at a quick pace. Storm gained an early advantage with his lucha style, but soon after Akuma would put himself on top with an array of stiff kicks. Storm though would continue to fight back through and through, but despite his best efforts, Akuma was able to get the win with the Falcon Arrow. [B][I]Match Rating: B-[/I][/B] [B][U]North Star Express vs. Babyface Fire[/U][/B] Corbin & Cruz hoped to continue their winning ways against Xion & Gory, who lost in their debut a month ago. Both teams were able to hit many flashy double team manuvers, and after a huge near fall almost getting Babyface Fire the win, NSE were able to hit the Cruz Control to seal the victory. [B][I]Match Rating: C-[/I][/B] [B][U]Hallowicked vs. Jake Crist[/U][/B] Despite his brother Dave being unable to compete with a broken foot, Jake was determined yet to put Irish Airborne at the top of PWR and had the opportunity against Hallowicked. Hallowicked remained in contorl for the majority of the match, sticking mostly to brawling and ground holds, forcing Jake to fight every step of the way. A flash flurry of offense quickly put Jake in control for the first time as he began to take to the air, hitting a huge corkscrew dive to the outside giving him a distinct advantage. Finally, Jake was able to hit the Crazy Finish to lock the win. [B][I]Match Rating: C+[/I][/B] [B][U]Arik Cannon vs. Tyler Black[/U][/B] The match started off with alot of chain and mat wrestling, sticking more to a technical style. Black began to speed things up a bit, but some great counter wrestling quickly put Cannon on the offensive. Cannon used a wide array of submissions to wear down Black, then began to hit some stiff forearms and chops to break him down further. Black again fired up on Cannon, scoring many near falls. After turning his back on Cannon to pop the crowd however, Cannon was quickly able to roll up Black and hold the ropes for leverage to get the cheap win. [B][I]Match Rating: C[/I][/B] [B][U]Super Dragon vs. B-Boy[/U][/B] The strong style war between Super Dragon, Masada, and B-Boy continued, this time with Dragon and B-Boy. The two men began hitting each other with everything they had as soon as the opening bell sounded, taking to the outside of the ring very quickly. Many stiff foreamrs and kicks were thrown by both men, but Super Dragon gained a quick advantage with some cheap shots thrown on B-Boy. Soon after cutting off B-Boy a final time, Dragon got ready to hit the Barry White driver. B-Boy was able to "slip out the back door" and nail Super Dragon with the shining wizard to get the quick win, and emerge himself as the dominate strong style competitor in PWR. [B][I]Match Rating: C-[/I][/B] [B][U]Metal Master vs. BJ Whitmer[/U][/B] Two world class technicians both with everything to prove met in the ring. Metal Master looking to continue his winning streak entering the heavyweight title tournament next month, while BJ Whitmer looked to shake off his loss from the first show. Similar to the Cannon/Black match, this one was a very technical match, with Metal Master staying in control, moving at a slow and calculating pace. Occasionally, BJ would hit a suprise suplex, only to be cut back off. BJ was able to hit a few more each time until finally getting the advantage. He was nearly able to hit his wrist clutch exploder suplex, only to be countered into a huge jackhammer from Metal Master for the win. [B][I]Match Rating: B-[/I][/B] [B][U]Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries[/U][/B] Since the announcement of an Aries/Joe match that was supposed to take place last month, the crowd was eagerly anticipating the debut of Samoa Joe, but more than that, to see him take on Austin Aries. Despite the size difference, Aries was able to hold long periods of offense, as was Joe. Both men were able to score many near falls, so close that the crowd could barely believe it was only 2. Both men would continuously attempt their finishers, but in the end Aries was able to hit a 450 splash on Joe to get the win. After the match, at the shock of everyone in the crowd, Joe began a viscious attack on Aries and began to choke him out. Finally, wrestlers and officials were able to tear the berzerk samoan monster off of Aries. [B][I]Match Rating: B[/I][/B] [QUOTE] [B][U]Quick Results[/U][/B] Jigsaw def. Jay West Akuma def. [B][U]Tag Team Turmoil To Occur In November[/U][/B] With the tag team division in PWR quickly heating up and with a heavyweight champion being crowned at the next show, it's almost time to crown a set of tag team champions as well, and with both members of Irish Airborne finally healthy, PWR is going to give the fans a little taste of things to come with a 4 team tag turmoil match. All four teams will be taking part and certainly the winner out of Irish Airborne Jake & Dave Crist, Babyface Fire Shiima Xion & Jason Gory, Arrogance Chris Bosh & Scott Lost, and North Star Express Darin Corbin & Ryan Cruz, will have a distinct advantage going into the preceedings to crown the tag champions. [B][U]Women's Wrestling Comes To PWR[/U][/B] At the heavyweight title tournament, there will also be a 4 way women's match, bringing women's wrestling to PWR. 4 of the best in North America have signed on to take part.
