Total Nonstop Arrows

Recommended Posts

This is being done on TEW 05, seeing as I don't have 07, and I'm a rather picky person on what I spend money on. Trying to save up my money. It's using the T-Zone data that was recently done for 05, with some slight edits. Mainly signing certain people to written contracts. CM Punk, The TNA guys that would be, and the ROH guys that would be as well. Not much of a backstory, but backstories are over rated. It was July of 2007, and Total Nonstop Action was beginning to have some serious troubles. Despite having their Heavyweight Title on Kurt Angle, and having men like Christian Cage and Samoa Joe in the upper reaches of the roster, they couldn't seem to keep the ball rolling and get out of their rut. The one hour time slot on Spike TV was gone, and they were suffering badly from the loss of it, with no real clue what they were doing wrong. After some long talks with the Carters about the promotion and the direction it was going in, I was given a bit more responsibility than I'd had before hand with the booking of the shows. Unfortunately, I'm used to being under other's supervision. Seems like now, I'm going to have a lot more responsibility than I can handle, and all of the problems that are going to be coming along with this. I've got that bald fool as Heavyweight Champ, and he doesn't seem to get the concept of putting over anyone. I've got a dying X-Division I need to breathe life back into, and I've got a tag division that I doubt God himself could save at this point. More additions to the roster as of late that haven't even debuted yet, although hype videos for one started at Slammiversary. To be perfectly honest with you, if I've got my job still come time for Bound For Glory, I'll be shocked. Oh well, heres to screw ups and mishaps. It can't be but so bad, right?

My Outlook on TNA Quite a bit was left undone when I took over the reigns of the booking team, and I'm expected to be able to touch up on all the unfinished business. Abyss and James Mitchell are still having their problems, and as of late, Mitchell has promised he has a new monster that he's going to be sending after Abyss. Abyss' answer to what has so far been an empty threat, was a violent attack, ending with Mitchell's head being slammed in a door repeatedly. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe are once again going at it all out, and the two could quite possibly go at it for quite a while into the future, as they produce great ratings, and seem to be what the fans want to see. Who knows, maybe sooner or later the bald joke will be willing to actually put over Joe. Lance Hoyt has joined Christy Hemme, and VKM seems to be in quite a bit of trouble. It shouldn't be too difficult to proceed from here, considering we've got some new guys on the roster, one of which I feel could be a perfect fit for VKM. Of course, this is also going to require something else happening, but Vince has already told me to let him handle that situation, so we'll see how that goes, and hope that it doesn't end with us getting sued. Christian Cage and Chris Harris have been going at it for a few weeks now as well. While they haven't gotten into the ring against each other outside of the King Of The Mountain match, I'm really hoping this feud can pick up some steam and pay off big for us in the long run. As two of the hopeful top guys on the roster, I'd really like for this to build up Harris into the main event scene, and hopefully give Angle someone else to hold down, I mean, compete with. Yea. At Slammiversary we got a welcomed surprise of the Television Title announcement. It seems management has finally decided that another belt was needed, given the number of stars in the promotion at the moment. LAX seem to be on the rise once again, and they've promised that they are coming for TNA Tag Gold one more time. After a rather easy victory over The Naturals at Slammiversary, talks behind the sceves are of holding LAX out of the tag division for a bit while letting the other teams who're involved in feuds have their time in the light, and that the next feud for LAX could be a huge one, and one the fans certainly won't see coming. To think, when I took this job, all I really had to worry about was tidying up the loose ends on some of the angles the guys come up with, and making sure that those make sense. Joke now about it if you think they didn't. I just wish I didn't have to go with some of the ideas these guys have already got planned, like their Victory Road battle of champions match. They even want me to throw the belt onto Samoa Joe just for this match. Guess we'll just see. Luckily for TNA, they've been able to hold onto parts of the television deal on other networks, so we're not completely shut off of television yet. Sun Sports, Eurosport, and The Wrestling Channel still have us on board, and we've decided that we'll focus on building our fan base off of these three for now. Dixie's said when the time's right, she'll start negotiating with another bigger television station. This is going to be a long month. I do have a plan to make things easier after this month, and fans, this one's for you. The first person to predict all of the winners of a Pay Per View event correctly, will get to send in their ideas for a character of their choice to be used. Lets just hope it's not some retard, shall we?

I'm going to try and continue to write things up from the perspective of the head booker. Each and every little mishap along the way will get told here, and I've got a feeling there will be plenty of them. Just seems like it could be enjoyable to write out the shows in the same fashion. At least we got this stupid schedule fixed so we're taping each show that Monday, instead of 2 each Monday. Gives me some time to get into the swing of things between shows. I'll try and make it prettier as I see where I can. Thanks to whoever made the images. They rock. Monday Week 1, July: Impact Tapings You know, if there's one thing that ticks me off more than anything, it has got to be old men who honestly think they deserve a push. Over the hill doesn't mean you're getting a world title shot. If it did, I'd have Hulk Hogan holding the belt come Victory Road. We did find out that we actually made money last month. Quite a bit of money at that. That's surprising, given the way things have been going. Of course, how do you always follow up good news at a pre-show meeting? Bad news, and it seems to pile on when you're just starting. It happened when I first signed with TNA, and it's happening again now that I'm in charge for the moment. Tonight's problems? It seems one of the guys I had plans to use in a rather big way tonight, has decided not to show up. It appears he's busy elsewhere, and that this is likely to be the case for quite some time on Monday nights. This really has me wondering if it's worth keeping the man on the roster. Sure, we're not paying him anything, and even if we were, we'd still be making plenty of money, but I really could replace him with someone who actually wants to be here. Speaking of which, I've got to have him replaced tonight. Luckily, I've got a few numbers I can call, and one of the guys seemed more than willing to show up tonight. This works just as well, as it's something I had planned anyways. Unfortunately, now I've got to reschedule the show to move this match as late as possible, and try to give him time to get here. Dark Match: Thanks to the oh so brilliant idea they threw together for the match of champions, the fans were treated to a fifteen man battle royal before the show got underway Beforehand, they were told about the match of champions, and this would be repeated, and talked about on television later to make the fans at home aware.. Some of the top names involved include the likes of AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, Tomko, and James Storm. It was told that this match would determine the second of three men next week in our TNA Heavyweight Title match. Kurt Angle obviously being the first, as champion. The third would be found out in tonight's main event. Surprisingly, I was allowed to pick the winner of this one, and went with the man I felt could fit into the spot best. Winner: Travis Tomko. Hopefully Tomko can fill in a much needed INTERESTING spot in the triple threat match. I can't see this as a bad choice, especially considering the push he has been receiving lately, and the push we have planned for him coming up. Onto the actual show, and just how horrible things went, shall we? Opening Bout: X-Division Title Match This match was supposed to take place much later in the show, but that, unfortunately, wasn't to be, due to a man deciding we're not his priority. The three did a really good job out there, despite the rush job to get them out to the ring right after the battle royal ended. The boys in the back were so sure Samoa Joe was walking away with the win tonight. Everyone writing dirt sheets claimed it too. Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, and Samoa Joe are three of the top performers in TNA right now in my mind, and I intend to use the three of these men the best I can. Giving Samoa Joe another run with the X-Division title wasn't what I had in mind. 12 minutes into the match, Kurt Angle came down to the ring, and after Sabin and Lethal landed a double dropkick taking Joe to the floor, Angle laid in with chair shots, making sure to take Joe out of the match for good. Lethal managed to land a brain buster on Sabin while Joe was on the floor, and was able to land an elbow drop to finish off the match, and successfully defend his title in great fashion. Winner: Jay Lethal. Jay Lethal is heading to Victory Road, and is going to main event on behalf of the TNA X Division in it's Match of Champions. From talking to him before the match, he seemed really excited about the chance he's been given here, and the fact that the script was flipped to prevent Joe from gaining the X Division title simply to put him in the match. We don't need Joe to main event every Pay Per View, and I intend to prove that here. Laying Down The Challenge This was originally supposed to be Christopher Daniels and Senshi's first time teaming up once again. It seems however, Senshi's decided not to show up tonight because of work elsewhere, and that's fine. Christopher Daniels instead lays down the tag team challenge as planned, except with a mystery partner. Challenge to who? Sting, and his partner, Abyss. Of course. Mystery Partner Tag Team Match: Christopher Daniels was already in the ring, and it didn't take long for his partner to make his debut. I'm glad he was free tonight, because this was something I really wanted to go ahead and get done. This does mess my plans up slightly, but at this point I'm not even sure how long Senshi is going to be employeed with TNA. His partner, for those who couldn't already guess it, is Elix Skipper. You know what that means. Abyss and Sting joined them in the ring, and the two teams put on a n above average match, which unfortunately had to contend with a restless crowd. Both teams gave it their all for seven minutes, before Tomko came to the ring and distracted Abyss, leaving Sting by himself to eventually fall to The Fallen Angel. Winners: Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper Yes, the original plans were to have Triple X slowly reform. It seems however, I'm not having the best of luck getting things to go the right way, and we may only see a two man group. Sting wasn't very happy with this move, which wasn't surprising, given Elix Skipper's popularity being nothing near what it once was, but he was sold on the idea after I explained to him that it would greatly help me if I knew I could at least rely on him. Thank god one old man knows what the heck putting someone over actually means. Hype for Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle These two men have been laying it all on the line against each other since the moment Kurt Angle walked into TNA, and it seems like it may not ever slow down. The two have made it clear that they'll be having another match very soon, but as of this time, there is no date set in stone. This seems to be the focal point TNA wants, despite everything else that's going on. Main Event: Christian Cage came to the ring and cut a quick promo, talking about Chris Harris. Christian then proclaimed himself one of the men that would be involved in tonight's main event, to determine the final man in next weeks Heavyweight title match, along with Tomko and Kurt Angle. His opponent tonight would be a much different story though, as he got to go one on one with Rhino. The two battled it out for a full thirteen minutes, and put on match of the night surprisingly. Rhino managing this actually shocks me, though I guess it shouldn't. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't Rhino's night, and after the match, he gored the referee Andrew Thomas to let out his anger. Winner: Christian Cage Overall? I'm happy with this show, and I feel like we came a long way with just this one show, despite the restrictions, and the way things could have gone. It was great to see Elix Skipper back in a ring, and capable of performing up to the standard that he once could, and he and Christopher Daniels seem to have not lost a step. Jay Lethal is currently in the Match of Champions, although that could change at any moment leading up to Victory Road. Samoa Joe has been pushed to the outside of the main event scene yet again, and while talk backstage is that he isn't happy with this happening, I'm being forced to take all of the stress, as I'm the one who decided to put over Lethal. I had to sit down with Joe after the match and have a talk with him about the situation, and he seems to understand that he's not being pushed out of the spotlight entirely, and that his time WILL come, it just isn't time for that yet. Oh well. I wish you guys could have seen the fans when a couple of the men in the battle royale made their way to the ring. They seemed really excited to see these men. One has been in TNA before, and people didn't expect to see a return. The other nobody expected to see, but we were lucky enough to grab him after that other company decided to let go of such a talent.

I'm not going to try and do too much different, although bits will be. Should be fun though. I love my job. I really do. I get to the arena and go to sit down and have a talk with one of the guys I want to debut on air tonight, and he's trying to fight through a dislocated shoulder. I swear I don't think I'm ever going to come to the arena and everyone actually be ready to do their jobs. I guess that's just part of the job though. Always have to be fast on your feet, and always have a backup plan in place just in case the rest doesn't work out quite the way you wanted. I guess I should consider myself lucky to have the writing team under me that I do. We were able to kick back and talk things over, and after only thirty minutes, we were able to figure out what we could do to make the shot run smoothly anyways. Tonight was a big night, and saw the beginning of the Television title tournament, as well as a TNA Heavyweight Title match. Lets just get on with the show, shall we? Dark Match: For Spot In Tag Title Match The fans were let known about the reward the team that wins this match would get, and they seemed very excited to see which of the two teams would manage to pull out the win tonight. One of the new tag teams on the scene, which we aren't prepared to debut on television yet took the spot against LAX in this one, and managed to do a very good job of performing. It took about 11 minutes for Konnan to make himself known, and it was he who would help LAX eventually put an end to the new tag team on the scene. Winners: LAX Opening Bout: Television Title First Round Match The television title is something we're hoping we can get into a good position in the company and the eyes of the fans. With that being the case, most of the men competing for the title are higher up the card than would usually be expected. Here in this first round match we saw Rhino going head to head with Christopher Daniels in a short, but all around good match which managed to last 8 minutes. We saw the match come to an end when Elix Skipper came down and cost Daniels the match after he attacked Rhino, preventing Rhino from hitting a gore. Winner: Rhino Backstage Attack Somewhere in the backstage area, Basham and Damaja attacked VKM from behind. VKM were barely beginning to fight back aganst the two when Christy Hemme and Lance Hoyt joined the fight, and VKM really stood no chance of survival after that. They were left bloodied on the floor under the feet of Christy Hemme, who seemed more than pleased with the job her men did. Television Title Tournament Match: I really believe these two men could have put on a stellar performance, but they just didn't seem to click while they were in the ring. Raven and Sonjay Dutt managed to keep the crowd excited despite the lack of chemistry shared between the two, and for seven minutes, the fans got to see something they will likely never see again. Well worth the price of admission to see this one in my opinion, and I'd love to be able to go back and see this match myself. Winner: Raven Another warning, and another beating. James Mitchell really seems to believe the so far empty threats mean something. This time he had the nerve to do it to Abyss' face, something that really wasn't a very smart idea at all. Abyss' response to the non sense was to once again bash in Mitchell's head with a door, and he seemed rather happy to do so. Trademark pose and grunt, pan down to a bleeding Mitchell. Good television folks. Main Event: World Heavyweight Title Match The match you've all been waiting for. Angle and Tomko held their own, going head to head while Christian stuck back in the background, coming in to take the cheap shots when he had the chance. Christian's antics would eventually lead to Tomko and Angle turning their attention to him however, but that would be shortly lived before Tomko was back to working over Angle on his own. Tomko was easily the dominant man in the match, and even kept Angle from doing much of anything for a majority of it. It seems though, we got to learn a valuable lesson. DO NOT PISS OFF JOE. 15 minutes into the match, Joe came down to the ring, simply standing and watching the action. At this point, Angle was able to get the advantage, trying to show off in front of Joe, but Joe would have none of it. Moments later, Joe was in the ring, and going to war with all three men, first laying out Christian, while Angle nailed Tomko from behind with a knock out clothesline. Angle went for the cover, but that wasn't to be as Joe easily pulled him off, and within a moment, had laid out Angle with a Muscle Buster. With all three men down, and Joe having no interest in leaving the ring, the referee had no choice but to call for the bell, and call the match a no contest. With his job done, Joe left, but not without Angle's TNA World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Winner: No Contest Only the second show under my belt, and things have gone over well, all things considered. One injury, one no show, and one complaint later, and we've got two shows down. I guess it could be a lot worse. Joe walking out with the title leaves a lot of things open to try, and I'm hoping that the payoff for this will be worthwhile. Thanks for reading folks, and remember, first person to get the outcome of each PPV match correct, gets to book their favorite TNA star for a month.

Victory Road Yet another exciting night is upon us here in Total Nonstop Action. Despite the lack of build up to some of the things that have been going on, tonights looking like it could be a good night, and I hope you're all tuning in to catch the show live as it happens. Title Dreams To kick off the show, we had a small video put together of Robert Roode, and him promising that he would be the first TNA Television Champion. Good stuff all around, and you can expect more of these as time goes by and we get closer to the end of the tournament. Tag Title Match: Winners Head Into Main Event LAX and Team 3D put on a good opening match, which was expected from the two teams. Both teams were really hoping to get into the match of champions, and went at it for 12 minutes. With Konnan not in the building tonight, Team 3D were able to pick up the win, and move on. The question at this point would be can Team 3D be at one hundred percent later in the night to face off with a fresh Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, or will this match be the downfall to their singles title dreams? Winners: Team 3D Ultimate X Match: X-Division Title Number One Contenders The six men in this match did a fantastic job, and we were given a match full of high spots. Chris Sabin was easily the odds on favorite, while Shark Boy was the one people were oddly rooting for to win. Brother Runt was taken out on a stretcher at about the seven minute mark, after being thrown off the top of the structure. Jerry Lynn couldn't seem to pull himself together after being responsible for that, and his distracted state led to him being taken out by Chris Sabin. Moments later, and quite a bit of blood spilled by Sabin, Lynn, and Austin Starr, Starr managed to find a miracle, and grab the X, securing himself a shot at the X Division title at our next Pay Per View. Winner: Austin Starr Taunting A Loser Chris Harris seems to be getting a bit stale with his current character, so you can expect something new from him after this feud ends. That's not a big deal, as this actually works rather well with what I had planned anyways. Christian Cage is on fire however, and carried the taunting of Chris Harris to a new level of beautiful. Tag Revenge Match: VKM and Basham/Damaja went at it for a solid 9 minutes, out performing the LAX/Team 3D match, surprisingly. The match saw aid from Lance Hoyt and Christy Hemme on behalf of Basham and Damaja, and after nine minutes, VKM were no longer able to fight off all four of them, and finally fell to defeat. This wouldn't be the end however, as the four continued to beat down on their opponents, until VKM got a little unexpected help. Long time friend and former stable mate, Sean Waltman hit the ring with a steel chair, taking out Hoyt with a quick shot to the back of the head. Basham and Damaja wasted no time helping Hoyt from the ring, and getting their tails out of harms way. Winners: Basham and Damaja Mystery Opponent Match: Abyss came to the ring unsure of who his opponent tonight was going to be, but it really should not have been much of a shock at all. They were already waging war on each other, and it wasn't very surprising that James Mitchell had picked Tomko to be the opponent tonight. While this doesn't mean that Tomko is the man Mitchell had been promising would be his new monster, Tomko did look impressive against Abyss once again in this death match, and took Abyss to the limit. It wouldn't be long before Mitchell found himself involved, and at 14 minutes, Abyss was put down by Tomko by his own Black Hole Slam onto the glass he'd brought into the ring. Winner: Tomko An Attempt To Recapture The Title We all knew it wouldn't take Kurt Angle long to hunt down Joe in an attempt to get his title back, but tonight didn't seem to be his night. Joe was very happy to give Kurt his title though, right across the face, before simply walking off, a huge smile on his face. Grudge Match: Sting and Christopher Daniels have been going at it for a while now, and tonight was one of their most brutal matches yet. Both men used everything they had to try and take the other down from the very beginning of the match, and neither man had been able to do much in the way of keeping the other down. It would take both men using bats on the other for either to get close, but after 10 minutes of sheer brutality, the two men were both unable to continue. Winner: No Contest Christian Cage vs. Chris Harris:/B] This one was a huge one, that I am very proud of. The two guys clicked, and they went at it for nine minutes in one of the most amazing wrestling matches I have seen in a very long time. This is great news, as I have a lot planned for these two, and intend to have them going at it for quite some time into the future. Christian Cage managed to pick up the win thanks to AJ Styles, but Chris Harris shouldn't be ashamed. Tonight, he and Christian Cage did something the likes of which I hadn't expected at all. Winner: Christian Cage As a side note: This was my first EVER A* Match. To follow that up? Quite possibly the most unexpected thing of the show, and I'm not giving any hints on this. I'll simply tell you what the fans got to see. EXTREME DANGER. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Match Of Champions: Following up and putting an end to the night was one of the longest matches in recent history, at 39 minutes. Team 3D went at it with Kurt Angle and Jay Lethal with everything they had, and with Jay Lethal being the only man who was completely rested, he held most of the match on his own for his team. At about 30 minutes, Angle came into the ring for only the second time, the first of which was mere moments long before he tagged back out. This time, he'd battle to the end for himself, not wanting Jay Lethal to grab tag team glory. Lethal pulled Angle around, and a shouting match between the two started, but Angle wasn't hesitant to dump Lethal with an Angle slam. This, of course, led to Angle turning around, right into a 3D from Team 3D. Brother D-Von made the cover, but as the referee's hand was coming down for three, D-Von was pulled from the ring and thrown head first into the steel steps. Brother Ray came to the floor to try and fight to help his partner, but Samoa Joe wasn't going to have it, and Ray soon found the same fate. Joe slid into the ring, staring down Angle as he got up, stalking behind him. Angle made his way to the corner, staring down at his opponents confused, but his questions would be answered as he found himself hoisted to the top rope, and then taken down with a Muscle Buster. With that, Joe put a foot on Angle's chest, and told the referee to ring the bell. Once again, it seemed the lesson of the night was Thou Shalt Not Piss Off Joe, because he'd once again caused a match to end without a winner, and he couldn't be happier about it. Winner: No Contest To say that I love Samoa Joe, and love him constantly holding matches to no contests. He doesn't seem to want to give up that title, and he definately doesn't seem to want to give anyone else a chance to win it. This could be a fun thing to see develop over the next month, and I hope you enjoy watching Samoa Joe as much as I do. Christian Cage and Chris Harris stole the show however, and at this point in time, I feel both of these men are well on their way to becoming the two biggest stars in the company.

Was what I was thinking. Given Harris needing a gimmick change, and their angles being on par at around a B or B+, them slipping out an A* match was just...wow. That pretty much sealed the deal on Harris getting his main event push.
I'd hate to even try and get an A* on 07. I know it's a lot harder. Is my first on 05 though, so it's just..yeahhhhh to me.
Get an A* in TEW 2005 is very very very very very very very very easy... I get an A* with a stupid Delrick Nelckrick (there is an error but i don't remember the name :D) vs The Undertaker...

Following Victory Road, we headed into Impact with our hopes high. Word around the backstage area is that Christian Cage and Chris Harris were both welcomed into the back tonight with a round of applause after their performance. The people who got there in time for the pre-show matches got to see a womens match. Nothing too major there. I got to kick back with Joe before the show and talk over the plans for him tonight, and he actually didn't seem to have a problem with it. The fans tonight, and watching at home, were going to get a big one tonight, for free, on television. Hope you guys enjoy. Opening Bout: Robert Roode and Eric Young could've done a better job than they managed to do tonight, and I think I'll be having a talk with the two of them after the show. This was a first round match for the new television title tournament, and if these guys can't put on a match that makes me think either of them deserves that title, I'll make sure to keep that in mind. Robert Roode went over Eric Young thanks to outside help from Ms. Brookes, and has advanced to the second round of the tournament, just as he promised he would. Winner: Robert Roode Challenge For The Gold Kurt Angle came to the ring, obviously upset over what transpired at the end of Victory Road. He wasted no time calling out Joe, and challenging him to a match for the title that Joe had stolen. Could tonight be Kurt's night to get his belt back, or would Joe simply blow him off as a joke? I'm sure you know. Singles Match: Chris Harris was able to get a measure of revenge tonight, as he got to face off against the man who cost him a victory over Christian Cage at Victory Road. Harris and Styles gave it everything they could, but they unfortunately couldn't keep up with the match Harris and Cage put on. AJ Styles tried with his all to keep himself going in this match, but Chris Harris was too much for him, and picked up the win with his Catatonic at 9 minutes. Winner: Chris Harris The Beast James Mitchell took some time to hype Travis Tomko as a monster. He bragged about Tomko being the man who took out Abyss once and for all, and claimed that that was only the beginning of his dominance. Mitchell seemed really pleased with his new monster, and promised that next week we would see true dominance once again. TNA World Heavyweight Title Match: Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe held no blows tonight, and it led up to an amazing match. Surprisingly, Harris and Cage still did better than these two managed to do. They did give it everything they've got for these fans to see for free though, and I'll give them all the credit in the world for that. Angle went over in a rather predictable fashion with help from the ropes to retain his title. Unfortunately for Angle, when he went to grab his belt, a fan took it from the table and threw it over his head, right into the waiting hands of the Samoan Submission Machine, who blasted Angle in the face with the belt before walking off with it slung over his shoulder. Winner: Kurt Angle

After an interesting last Impact resulting in Kurt Angle defeating Samoa Joe for his own TNA World Heavyweight Title, only to have Joe re-steal the gold once again before he could even make it to the back, we're back for more. Before we get into the show, however, we've got a few fun things to go over. Dixie Carter has been spending a lot of her time in negotiations with television networks. Word has it she has been looking to move Impact to a two hour slot, while at the same time she seems to be looking into branching out with a second show. While there is no solid word on what's going on yet, the show must go on as per usual, and we will just hope for brighter things in the very near future. On with the show! In the dark part of the show, the fans were given a chance to see Ron Killings completely humiliated and destroyed in the middle of the ring by a woman. After everything he's had to say lately, we don't expect him to be with the company for much longer at this rate, and he's made me mad. That being said, I won't be holding back any blows. There was also another short warning of the Extreme Danger. This has been going on for a while now, and the fans can't seem to piece together what it means. As for the show you'll see televised? Well now, that was fun. Mike and Don were happy to announce that the main event tonight would see Kurt Angle go at it with Sting one on one for the NWA World heavyweight Title, and Joe would be facing AJ Styles. Opening Television Title First Round Match: Brother Runt and Austin Starr rounded out the final match of the Television Title first round. The two actually got together and put on something special, but unfortunately the fans weren't into it nearly as much as they could have been. Brother Runt had his hands full with Starr, but managed to pick up the win and advance. Starr looked nearly traumatized by this. Winner: Brother Runt One Mo 'Gain? Before Austin Starr could even pull himself together and exit the ring, the all too familiar music of Samoa Joe's hit, and he made his way to the ring. This, rather quickly, snapped Starr out of his state of mind and back into reality, and Starr took the high road in rolling out of the ring and leaving. Of course, this wasn't why Joe was out here tonight, and he soon made it rather obvious why. Joe laid down a challenge tonight, for Kurt Angle to meet him one on one at Hard Justice, for the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Tag Title Number One Contenders Match: This match would determine which team would go into Hard Justice to face Team 3D for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. LAX, Basham/Damaja, MCMG, and VKM would be the four teams involved in what could be considered a rather well put on match. With Konnan, Lance Hoyt, and Sean Waltman all managing to get involved in the outcome of the match, it was beginning to seem more like a brawl than a wrestling match very fast, and things broke down after mere moments of actual tag wrestling. Sabin and Shelley didn't seem very pleased by the three three man groups, and exitted the battle area while looking around for Kevin Nash, who was nowhere to be found. LAX picked up the win in the end though, after a Gringo Killa on Kip James. Winners: LAX Laying Down a Challenge Basham and Damaja were quick to take advantage of VKM being down, with taunts and stomps to their opponents after LAX had left the ring. Christy Hemme joined them in the ring, and laid down a challenge for them to meet at Hard Justice, inside the six sides of steel. Samoe Joe vs. AJ Styles AJ Styles came out to the ring, claiming that he had been told he had to meet Samoa Joe tonight in the ring one on one. He explained that he made sure that wasn't going to happen though, as he was bringing Robert Roode into this match as his tag partner. Once Roode had made his way into the ring, the two mocked Joe, claiming there was no way he could find a partner. Could he on that short of notice? Joe came to the ring, happily climbing in by himself. The beat down began on Joe right off, with Robert Roode showing that he was a worthy choice to be the tag partner here. Joe would fight back, and take out AJ after a devastating Muscle Buster, but Robert Roode wouldn't let it end there. Unfortunately for Roode, he soon got caught in the Kokina Clutch, and found himself tapping out. Winner: Samoa Joe Yet another attack Christian Cage was mad. Really really mad, after watching what Joe just did to AJ Styles and Robert Roode. To vent, Christian found himself wandering the hallways until he came across Chris Harris, coming up behind him and throwing him into the wall head first. Brutal punches followed until Harris had been busted open, and Christian finally got up, simply walking off. TNA World Heavyweight Title Match Tonight would be Sting's chance to get the TNA Title back into his own hands, but he had to go through Kurt Angle to do it. Angle seemed determined he was going to break Sting's ankle tonight, and focused on it at every chance he got with stomps and ankle lock attempts. Sting would hold his own though, and even managed to get the Scorpion Deathlock locked on on three separate occasions. The third would be his downfall however, as Samoa Joe calmly walked to the ring, and entered, standing right in front of Sting. With no warning, Joe locked the Kokina Clutch on Sting, causing him to break the hold on Angle, and causing the referee to ring the bell, disqualifying Kurt. Winner: Sting by Disqualification.

Yet another week has gone by, and we're back to Monday night, the beginning of August, and a lot of new things coming up. Hard Justice is right around the corner, and so far we don't know much about the show at all, except for the fact that the finals of the Television Title tournament will finally happen there. Team 3D will meet LAX in a tag match, and VKM will go at it with Basham and Damaja in a six sides of steel. We also know that Samoa Joe has challenged Kurt Angle to meet him one on one for the TNA World Heavyweight Title, which Joe refuses to return to Kurt Angle until Angle can beat him cleanly in the middle of the ring. Nothing groundbreaking this week, so straight to the action! Opening Bout: Sean Waltman was in the ring, ready to talk about the state of VKM. He hadn't been seen since Victory Road, and was only around for a moment then. So many questions to be asked about him, with no time to answer, and tonight he finally intended to speak. That is, until Christy Hemme lead the big man, Lance Hoyt to the ring, and the impromptu match was started. Waltman was a house of fire and surprised everyone, including Lance Hoyt. Hoyt would fight with everything he had, but the much more experienced Waltman was capable of keeping the lead most of the match. In the end, it was Christy Hemme and a low blow that cost Waltman the match. Winner: Lance Hoyt Sure. One Mo 'Gain. The crowd in the Impact Zone knew we'd have Kurt Angle's answer tonight, and they wouldn't have to wait long. Angle made his way down to the ring, obviously still pissed off over the fact that he didn't have his World Title around his waist tonight. He was quick to get to the point, saying that he would meet Joe at Hard Justice, and he would beat him one on one, in the middle of the ring, like a man to reclaim what is rightfully his. Before Angle could even get out of the ring, Sting's music hit, and the Icon made his way towards the ring, baseball bat in hand. Angle stepped aside, standing in the background while Sting laid down a challenge to Samoa Joe for tonight, after what Joe did to him one week ago on IMPACT. For those that missed the show, Joe choked out Sting to prevent him from beating Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Semi Final Television Title Tournament Match Raven and Rhino would be the first two men to meet in the semi finals of the Television Title Tournament. The two extreme wrestlers took this fight into the crowd early, and used everything they could find to take the punishment to each other. With help from Havok and Martyr, Raven was able to get the advantage over Rhino, but the two lackeys were no match for Rhino's gores, and soon it was back down to one on one. It wouldn't be long before Rhino was able to hit a third Gore, taking out Raven and getting himself the first spot in the finals, guaranteed. Winner: Rhino Down and Out Backstage, Abyss was found down and laid out cold. It was rather easy to figure out that the man responsible was none other than Tomko, although he wasn't seen on camera. Semi Final Television Title Match: Robert Roode and Brother Runt rounded out the other half of the semi finals, and both men had everything to gain from this. Robert Roode, who was trying to prove himself to Christian and join the Christian Coalition could easily accomplish that task by picking up the Television Title, while Brother Runt, who has been floundering around doing not much of anything really wanted to get himself some gold. Both other members of Team 3D are champions. The match was short, thanks to help from AJ Styles, and Robert Roode easily won. Winner: Robert Roode Another Hard Justice Match Made Chris Harris was backstage, talking to Jim Cornette about the possibility of getting into the ring once more with Christian Cage. He was granted this shot, at Hard Justice. Main Event: Sting and Samoa Joe haven't seen eye to eye, especially after the Kokina Clutch last week, which cost Sting has chance at winning the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Joe was more than happy to meet Sting in the ring tonight, and Joe went to work on Sting quick, nailing the running boot and back splash right off. Sting would fight back midway through the match, but in the end, he was no match for Joe and a Muscle Buster. Winner: Samoa Joe Heading into Hard Justice, Joe seems to be the single most dominant man on the roster, no questions asked. The question on everyone's minds is, how can Kurt Angle stand up to a man like Samoa Joe, on the streak he is on right now.

So we've got two shows to go before it comes down to time for Hard Justice, and a lot of things have been going on in the back. Dixie Carter was back with us this week, and she seemed to be really happy about some of the things that had gone on while she was gone. She knew something the rest of us didn't, and that was rather obvious. She even went so far as to tell me that part of the show would be something I wouldn't expect to happen. Screw it, I don't have time to play games with the woman tonight. On with the tapings. Hard Justice! The show kicked off with a hype video, highlighting the feud between Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, and the promises both men have made that it would end fair and square in the middle of the ring at Hard Justice. Womens Match Gail Kim and Traci were given some time to get into the ring and show the crowd what women could do. While these may not have been the best two choices to put into the ring, word around the back is that some of the guys want to try and start up a womens division. With Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Traci, and Jacqueline already on board, it seemed like the right thing to do, and if we can pick up a few more talented women, I'll be more than happy to follow alongside the plans and help book them into the show. While this match could have been better, it could have been worse. Jacqueline cost Gail Kim the win tonight. Winner: Traci Oh, you didn't know? VKM were backstage, and put it very simply as they let everyone know that at Hard Justice, they would be accepting the challenge from Basham and Damaja, to meet them inside the six sides of steel. X-Division Preview Match In the battle of the Macho Man Rip Offs, Austin Starr and Jay Lethal met in one on one non title action tonight, because Austin Starr will be getting his title shot at Hard Justice. The two men put on a rather decent match, although it obviously could have been better, and I hope they can pick up the slack at the PPV. There's not enough time to throw a solid third man into the match, so these two are going to have to do something special. They battled to a 10 minute time limit draw tonight. Winner: Draw The Countdown Is On! A clock was shown on the screen, showing that there were 25 days left until something important would happen. My guess is, this was what Dixie had up her sleeve. Word in the back has it there was someone with Dixie in her office most of the night, who nobody else was allowed to see. They got there early, he remained there while she was out, and they left together after everyone else had already left. X-Division Match Jerry Lynn and Alex Shelley met tonight. I didn't have anything else to do with the time, and want to give these guys some ring time, so tonight they got a bit. Turns out they didn't work out quite as well as I had wanted them to, and I'm not sure if they'll be given another shot anytime soon to be considered highly in the X-Division. Maybe I'll move Shelley to the tag division full time with Chris Sabin, who came down and got Shelley DQed tonight when the referee caught him attacking Jerry Lynn on the floor. Winner: Jerry Lynn Another Attack! Just when you thought Jerry Lynn's night couldn't get any worse, he found himself on the end of a brutal assault backstage at the hands of Mitchell's beast, Tomko. Tomko made quick work of his easy prey, and simply walked off, completely unaffected by the bloodshed. Main Event With Rhino going head to head with Robert Roode at Hard Justice for the Television Title, Christian took it into his own hands to get Rhino in the ring tonight in an attempt to wear him down before he could get there. Christian had a harder time than he thought he would with the man beast, and it wasn't until Robert Roode made an assist that Christian was able to finish off the job. Winner: Christian Cage
