Source: PW Insider
TNA President Dixie Carter was in Los Angelas earlier today negoatiating with Fox for a deal that would begin this fall. She will not be at tonights Impact tapings. This is not for MyNetwork TV and its not for Fox Sports Network either. The deal would have TNA taping 2-4 hours of programming per week, and would have TNA programming on more than one fox owned network.
The prevailing rumor now is that TNA will get a 2 hour slot on FX, a one hour slot on MYTV or Fox Sports, and quarterly specials (think Saturday Night Main Event or Clash of the Champions) on the regular Fox network.

As long as it dind't mess with the schedule for the really good FX shows like The Shield or Rescue Me or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I'd be all about it. Also I guess this would be the test of the whole "if they have two hours, the writing won't seem as crappy theory."

My thought on the crappy writing is having 45 people to use in 1 hour plus from what Dixie has stated... the writers each have their own projects and they seemingly never talk to each other about what the others are doing... and it just gets thrown together.
no, not necessarily, I mean why would they do that. thats the problem with WWE, they rely too much on NBC. TNA should try to bridge the gap between different TV stations.
..because FOX is a bigger network then Spike TV, and Viacom has no interest beyond Spike TV for TNA? I'd rather be on a FOX network then a Viacom network if I was a TV show trying to survive anyday of the week. If they managed to actually get on the 'local' FOX channels? They'd do something that WWE hasn't managed to do outside of Saturday Night's Main Event. But if TNA doesn't sort out their writing issues, their backstage talent problems, and their on-screen 'antics' ... it won't matter because no one will give a crap.

If TNA gets the deal that BIGJOSH described from Fox..multiple shows on different networks..there'd be no reason to have any tie whatsoever with Spike.
I don't know, if they done a "different" show it might not have to. Perhaps have a brand split (I think could help them tremendously, un cluster them).
NO! TNA do not need to do a brand split...that would definetly make them WWE-lite.

Not only that, but the brand split became a failure after the first year... and they refuse to get rid of it and move on.

I've read this about a week ago or so and it would be great for TNA to go to the Fox network ... I've also heard that by the fall there were getting a second hour on Spike... and if they get that show on Fox .. I wonder if theyll be signing more people besides the rumored Ricky Bandaras and Matt Sydal.. and if there gonna have a complete new show or if itll just be another Impact... or if theyll start airing Xplosion.
NO! They should use one of the shows to further build talent like X Division stars that dont get enough air time on Spike.
It's one or the other..not both. The entire reason TNA started negotiating with other networks is because their deal with Spike is up for renewal. And they weren't happy about not getting a second hour on Spike sooner.
