This'll probably make me sound like a tard but...

Recommended Posts

Started as WCW with $8,000,000. After first PPV it was around $12,600,000, a week later it was down to $9,600,000, then a few days later at the end of the month 'twas down to $8,900,000. Only thing that happened is that I let Thunder's contract lapse (and also that of two of the nitro showings), I figured this might have something to do with it, however neither nitro nor thunder have missed any showings yet. Is this normal? Is my retarded tv contract managment to blame? Or is it just a case of lots of expenditure at the end of the month?? My end of month finances look like this: Cash: 8,881,708 Performance: 881,708 PPV Rev: 3,796,728 Ticket Sales: 1,463,009 Sponsors: 1,528,650 Merch: 177,480 Misc: 0 Workers: 784,525 Show Costs: 314,000 Marketing: 300,000 Merch: 455,081 Production: 1,061,000 Misc: 3,169,553

Lot of expenditures at the end of the month. IIRC ( i tend to use feds with lots of workers on PPAs) a worker on a written contract doesn't have their salary calculated until then. Although..looking at your breakdown..that's a ridiculous amount of misc expenses.

So all of a sudden you'll see a bunch of money go bye bye at the end of the month

well.. You're losing money on merchandise, your production costs are kinda high, and your misc expenses are just... ugh Can you post the last few months of finances for viewing so we can see exactly what's up? It's kinda hard to see where you're losing money if you're only posting one month. If I had to venture, you probably did some firings and have guys who are getting perks such as revenue share or things that might hamper your finances. Take a screenshot of your finance screen and post it.

As someone mentioned you need to sort your merchandise as you are losing over $250 000 a month which is beating the point of it being a revenue.

It's all part of the joy of the game, losing money and having to find a way around it. I remember it was the only difficult part on EWR when starting as a small fed. Once figured, you could get to Global with few problems... if you spent the time. At least with this game, there's lots to figure out. Unfortunately I've been too lazy to figure them out myself and will regret all the questions I've asked/advice I've read once I've taken a fed from bottom to top without it being a struggle :(
