Grudge
Is it possible to have a promotion who's matches are rated largly on in-ring skills and who's workers also get over well on promos? I would like to be able to have good solid matches and good promos that actually help a workers pop
NOAH fan 4 life
the best product feature which balances in-ring skills with promos and angles is Traditional. if you have that as a key feature along with maybe modern/realism and mainstream as lows/mediums then your wrestlers should be able to get over both on in-ring match quality and promo quality
Remianen
Here's a product I came up with that's working for me. My workers are almost all capable in the ring (the exceptions are the 'developmental' workers I signed, specifically to groom as successors to my established stars). Style: AJW Joshi Traditional - Key Mainstream - Very Low Comedy - Low Modern - Key Realism - Medium Hardcore - Very Low Lucha - Medium Daredevil - Low everything else - None Over time, I plan to possibly gradually add some Pure (perhaps to get to Low), though I doubt it right now. The above product will allow you to get to Global without ever running a show in the States (assuming you're not based in the States). Why? Well, the US is notoriously 'entertainment' oriented (entertainment = mainstream) and the hallmark of 'entertainment' is overness. You can have workers with A* in all the in-ring & performance skills but if they have no overness, the match will bomb. Not quite the case with the above product. However, angles will possibly bomb because all angles are rated heavily on overness (even if it says it's rated on 'Mic' or 'Entertainment' or 'Looks'). But, if the workers are talented performers, they won't need angles to get over (that's an entertainment staple).
Guest The Aussie
Yep, Traditional is a heavy feature for a product like that, it focuses more on getting workers over through good matches but also allows them to do angles without being crapped on. Traditional : key Realism/HyperRealism: none Pure & Comedy : low Mainstream and others : very low Match intensity is at 60%, Danger at 30%. I'm at Regional now and my main events hit C+/B- regularly, despite workers only being over in the region for a D-.
