Sonjay Dutt gets pounded on in the middle of the ring by Roode. Sonjay fights back and takes Roode off of his game with his agility. The former Team Canada member gets Hurricanrana'ed across the ring. Dutt is on fire. Sonjay Dutt springboards off of the middle rope but gets caught with a Spinebuster. Roode continues his domination, crushing Dutt's head with a Kneedrop. Robert Roode signals for another Kneedrop but this time Dutt rolls out of the way. Sonjay nails Roode with a flurry of offensive moves, knocking Roode around the ring. Ms. Brooks gets up on the apron and distracts Dutt. Sonjay turns his back on his opponent and turns towards Traci. Roode attempts his Northern Lariat but Dutt ducks and Robert hits Brooks accidentaly. Kurt Angle walks out and gets inbetween them. [/COLOR] [B]Kurt Angle:[/B] Gentlemen, you can stop arguing over who deserves a title shot because quite frankly, none of you deserve it. [COLOR="red"][I]A quick shot of the challengers faces. Back to Kurt Angle.[/I][/COLOR] [B]Kurt Angle[/B]: ...tonight, Brock Lesnar & Scott Steiner team up and take on Sting & Christian Cage in a tag team match, and I'll see who really deserves to face me at "Final Resolution". [I][COLOR="red"]Re-cap of the tag team match. We see some miss-comunication between Christian and Sting which lead to Scott Steiner beating Cage with a Camel Clutch. James Storm nails Sharkboy was a devestating Suplex, he covers him but only gets a 2 count. Storm attempts another Suplex but this time Sharkboy counters it with a roll-up. Unfortunately, the match got chaotic and was thrown out as a No Contest. What are your plans now? [B]Rob Van Dam[/B]: Ya know, last week Team 3D let me choose anybody in the world as my tag team partner, so I chose my best friend. Me and Sabu, we traveled together, we fought together, hell we even went to jail together, it was the perfect choice. But when Team 3D ran away with their tails stuck inbetween their legs after we got too extreme for them, that pissed us off. That's why we're not waiting for Team 3D to give us another title shot, we're going to get one for ourselves. James uses his strength to toss Devon across the ring. The Tag Team Champion loses his head and charges at Kip only to get Backdroped and Bodyslammed. Devon tags out to his Brother Ray. Ray demands that Kip tags out. After some arguing, Kip James tags out to BG James. BG ducks one of Ray's strikes and starts to unleash some jabs. Ray gets slammed in the center of the ring and gets a Shake Rattle and Roll. Team 3D double team BG James and cut off his momentum. BG James is brutaly beaten down by both members of Team 3D. Kip James tries to enter the ring but he gets knocked off of the apron. Team 3D end things after a 3D to BG James. [/B] [COLOR="red"][B][SIZE="3"]Winner and still Tag Team Champions: Team 3D(10:21) C-[/SIZE][/B][/COLOR] [COLOR="red"][I]Leticia is backstage with "Father" James Mitchell, Judas Mesias & Giant Bernard. [/I][/COLOR] [B]Leticia Caine[/B]: Last week, we saw Judas Mesias help Giant Bernard beat Abyss. Is there some sort of friendship between these two? [B]James Mitchell[/B]: An unholy alliance is upon us, Judas Mesias & Giant Bernard are two beasts of burden, ready to claim their rightfull spot ontop. Both men lay into each other delievering some vicious strikes. James Mitchell gets up on the apron and distracts Abyss while Bernard clubs him from behind. Giant Bernard nails Abyss with some impressive moves, picking up some near falls. Abyss starts fighting back, nailing Bernard with some punches to his mid-section. The Monster gets fired up, knocking Bernard with some strong strikes. James Mitchell gets up on the apron again but this time Abyss tosses him inside. Before Abyss could do anything to his former manager, Judas Mesias runs out and attacks him. The referee calls for the DQ. [/B] [B][COLOR="red"][SIZE="3"]Winner: Abyss(7:52) C[/SIZE][/COLOR][/B] [COLOR="red"][I]After the match, Giant Bernard and Judas Mesias double team Abyss. Suddenly, Rhino runs out and clears the ring. Rhino and Abyss stand tall inside of the ring. [/I][/COLOR] [COLOR="red"][I]A video package re-capping L.A.X.'s and Christopher Daniels' confrontation last week. We see Hernandez beating down Daniels backstage. Daniels avoids any of Hernandez grapples, ducking underneath and knocking the larger man with quick jabs. The Fallen Angel hits the ropes and comes flying off with a Diving Football Tackle, knocking Hernandez off of his feet. Daniels attempts his Best Moonsault Ever but unfortunately Hernandez moves out of the way forcing The Fallen Angel to come crashing down. Hernandez takes advantage of the situation and beats him down. Hernandez lifts Daniels up on his shoulders for a Powerslam, Daniels slips behind his opponent and rams him into the corner. Christopher Daniels dropkicks Hernandez, causing him to be knocked out on his feet. Daniels springboards off of the middle rope and nails a Diving Moonsault. 1....2....Hernandez kicks out. Hernandez manages to get to his feet and starts wildly throwing punches. Daniels ducks them then kicks him in the mid-section, he quickly follows up with a Angels Wing.[/B] [B][COLOR="red"][SIZE="3"]Winner: Christopher Daniels(17:33) C+[/SIZE][/COLOR][/B] [COLOR="red"][I]Backstage, inside of Jeff Jarrett's office, Andrew "Punisher" Martin is talking with the commissioner. Matt Morgan is standing next to Jarrett, guarding him. [/I][/COLOR] [B]Jeff Jarrett[/B]:...just show me that you deserve it Andrew... [B]Andrew Martin[/B]: B-- [COLOR="red"][I]Suddenly, Kurt Angle bursts inside of the office and shoves Martin aside. He confronts Jarrett. [/I][/COLOR] [B]Kurt Angle[/B]: You said you wanted to talk with me? [B]Andrew Martin[/B]: Hey buddy, I was talkin' here... [B]Kurt Angle[/B]: (looking Andrew over then turns back to Jarrett, ignoring Andrew Martin.) Anyways... [B]Jeff Jarrett[/B]: I just wanted to tell you that you're banned from ringside during tonight's #1 Contendership match. [B]Kurt Angle[/B]: What?! [B]Andrew Martin[/B]: You heard the man... Both men hit each other with some impressive quick offense. Sabin Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors Young to the outside of the ring then dives ontop of him. Back in the ring, both men continue to wrestle at a fast pace. Young nails Sabin with a Backbreaker then follows up with a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Eric Young climbs to the Top Rope but Sabin cuts him off. Chris Sabin places Young on his shoulder and hits an unbelievable second rope Future Shock. 1...2...3!! The staredown quickly breaks down into a striking contest. Senshi tries to chop his opponent's legs down with vicious kicks while Homicide tries to take off his rival's head off with forearm strikes. Senshi gets the upper hand, Dropkicking Homicide across the ring and into the Turnbuckle. Senshi nails a Cartwheel Kick across Homicide's head, nearly knocking him out. Homicide resorts to eye raking Senshi. Cide pounds away at Senshi. After some impressive moves, Homicide nearly puts Senshi away various times. Homicide attempts his Cop Killa but Senshi counters it and kicks him across the back of his head. Senshi nails Cide with a Ki-Krusher then applies a Dragon Sleeper. Cage starts trash talking, shoving all 3 of his opponents. Lesnar, Sting and Steiner get annoyed and triple team Captain Charisma. After getting knocked around by his opponents, Cage rolls out of the ring and lets them attack each other. The match breaks down into a tag team format. Sting gets beaten down by Scott Steiner. Getting hit with every single Suplex in the book. Steiner picks up a few near falls then gets blind tagged by Christian Cage. Cage enters the ring ****y, thinking he could get rid of Sting easy now that he's softened up. Cage attempts his Unprettier but Sting pushes him off and takes him down, quickly applying his Scorpion Deathlock. Cage tries to fight the hold off but he evently taps out. Elimination #1: Sting elim. Christian Cage Brock Lesnar attacks Sting immediately after Cage is eliminated. Sting visibly looks tried as he's been in there the longest. The former TNA Champion tries to fight off Lesnar's attack but he gets put away by The Verdict. Elimination #2: Brock Lesnar elim. Sting Lesnar and Steiner slug away at each other. Steiner catches Lesnar in an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. 1....2...Brock Lesnar kicks out. Scott Steiner applies the Camel Clutch. Brock Lesnar starts to fade away, it looks like he's almost out of it. The referee checks his hand, it falls. 1! The referee checks his hand once again, it falls. 2! The referee checks his hand one last time, it fa--no wait he raises his arm!! Brock Lesnar powers his way up and out of the Camel Clutch, ramming Steiner into a nearby Turnbuckle. Brock lifts Steiner on his shoulders and hits The Verdict. 1....2....3!!
