I'd let it go naturally for a little while longer and let them age, then if it doesn't improve bring some people in. I'm really enjoying this and it's a good read, great idea on this.
Thanks SHaynes, I appreciate the feedback. In the light of a new day, I'm leaning toward doing what you suggested -- trying to be patient & let the available workers catch up. I think it bothered me so much mostly because I allowed myself to get a little excited over the appearance of the new fed and then it became a bigger letdown as I realized the situation. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do some more clicking on this tonight.

Since it's finally the Roaring 30s... I say edit in a few guys to own some companies. I'd like to see some competition for PNW. I'd sprinkle 1-2 throughout most of the areas of the game. Even set them to 'debut' as various times throughout the years if you like.

Miscellaneous 1929 News and Notes -- The N.W.A. opened in January but has yet to run a show. But their cash on hand has grown a bit, to $56,318 -- Three random incidents, all involving free agents. Cathy DeVille failed a steroid test, Carmen Hayes failed a drug test, and the ought-to-be-legendary El Gringos Locos were involved in a police incident. -- Although it's technically a 1930 item, worth mentioning here is that another ownerless promotion has opened its doors: Maple Leaf Wrestling, based in Ontario

Miscellaneous 1930 News and Notes -- Finally had another relationship form, as Harvey Patterson & Leroy Crane developed a strong dislike for one another. -- The N.W.A. has now been open for two years without running a show. -- Maple Leaf Wrestling open for one year without running a show. -- And on January 1st, 1931, Jim Crockett Promotions opened ... without Jim Crockett leaving as Head Booker for PNW. Broken Kayfabe Alert Okay, the opening of JCP without an owner and without Crockett showing any signs of leaving his friend while on a 220 day PPA contract was more than I could take. I edited his contract down to one day, and when it expired he immediately took over JCP. In addition, having tinkered already, I added two potential owners for the other promotions in limbo. Unfortunately, one of them signed as Crockett's Head Booker instead. Further compounding the strange goings on, JCP only had one show scheduled so far -- Jan 1, prior to having anyone on the roster, while the other two promotions have a full monthly schedule but no owner & no roster. I don't know if that will straighten itself out or not, I guess we'll find out soon. Sorry if this bit of sleight of hand bothers anybody, but the truth was, I couldn't take it anymore, not with the promotions being active but inactive.

 • 2 weeks later...
Jesus Rude remains the best named, worst aligned name I can ever recall hearing. Glad to see you've added some owners. I want competition. Not that I don't think PNW will crush them all! But still, some healthy competition is good. I'll keep reading as I enjoy how this yearly snapshot memoir develops.
