We'll cover the period leading up to the 2nd PPV, New Years Eve Brawl (Page 6 I think).[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]The Women's Tournament of Champions was an idea that kind of was put into motion a little early. I had a difficult time getting enough women to compete, and I wound up having to sign a few people I normally wouldn't. Ultimately, this was my attempt to test out some ladies to see who would make the cut as I tried to beef up my Women's Division. It got Melissa back in the title picture (which was good, considering what Lita did) and help start a build for Ms Chif.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]The Danielson vs Malenko vs Mason match was a last minute thing, as I thought they would pull off a good match. It's kind of weird, as I was planning on using Danielson later until about 2 weeks before the PPV.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]Ryan Cruz vs Mike Quackenbush was really just a set up in Christopher Daniels' feud with Quackenbush. It also was Cruz's first real big match, which I think went well.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]Amazing Kong was renamed Kia Kong, just because I thought it sounded better. She was the only other real challenger on my roster for the Women's Title, as my Women's Division really only consisted of Ms Chif, Melissa, Kia and Lita. The rest were all talent trades and complete unknowns. The match was alright, but it was mainly something to keep Lita busy until Melissa became #1 Contender[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]The Real Deals were the only real contenders at the time, so they were the obvious challengers against Kidman and Waltman. This was when Kevin Nash was brought into the feud more and eventually led to Scott Hall comeing in.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]The 'ECW Reunion' match with Corino and Tanaka, Sabu and Tajiri, and Raven and Daniels (I know Daniels was never in ECW, but he was already Raven's partner) with Dreamer as referee was something I had sort of planned right after Raven was brought in. I thought brining in Dreamer was a nice touch, but didn't really do anything for this match. It did set up the Raven/Dreamer feud that happened right after this though.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]The match between Mainstream and Superstar and Jericho and Stratus was reall about getting Jericho back in the ring, as well as getting Mainstream over more. Plus, I really like writing Mainstream and Superstar's promos. This got Jericho back in the ring full-time, as well as gave me a reason to use my other announcers more. Both Jericho and Status had major ring rust here, but the match was a good starting point for the Mainstream vs Jericho match at the next PPV.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]Now, the Main Event was a tricky thing. I originally had Sapp vs Lesnar in a #1 Contender match slated here, with Pearce and Danielson having a Title match. Lesnar was going to become #1 Contender, and win the belt at the next PPV. Unfortunately for Danielson, his popularity really stunk at this point so I decided to have both matches take place on Live. The Title match was great, and I almost regret using it on TV, but I think everything worked out well. Anyway, Sapp and Lesnar wound up being the #1 Contenders and this three-way was scheduled for NYEB. It was actually two matches, as Sapp get's winded after about 5 minutes, and a 28 minute match probably would have killed him. Lesnar got the belt about 2 months earlier then planned, but I didn't want Lesnar vs Pearce to headline 3 PPV's in a row.[/I][/CENTER] [CENTER][I]Well, that's it for this commentary. [B]Melissa Anderson[/B] vs La Amapola though i could see some outside interference here giving Lam the win, after last weeks angle. Brent Albright vs [B]Steve Corino [/B] [B]John Hennigan[/B] vs Adam Pearce either a double dq, or Hennigan by dq, but this seem like a bad way to just up and drop the title off of pearce. but then maybe pearce's contract is up and your just not sure what to do with the guy.

Yeah another great show! Cant beleive i forgot about the D/Q rule with Pearce and John! I liked Ken Doane's appearance and i hope be becomes a regular fixture! Also, a bit more characterisation of the womens division would be awesome, it seems to be old school face gets attacked by an old school heel again and again with the exception of MsChif. And wheres Kia Kong? I wanna see Kong Killing people in the ring as a monster heel! :D

(kinda rosey) Let her team with some one, she runs in for the save and some how destroys not just the other team, but her own partner and the ref for good meassure. she comes out and speaks (and i saw her promo skills on Shimmer, TNA should really let her speak) and says she is tired of being an out sider, and just wants to be one of the girls. but never gets it quite right. the fans feel bad for her, but the rest of the roster is out for her blood.

It's always good to have some constructive feedback. Kenny Doane has been hanging around since Brawl For It All (his first appearance). I did a talent trade for him with MLWA and had two more appearances left to use. Coincidentally, had mistaken chosen Doane as the challenger at Fight Night, this probably would have been exactly how it would have gone down. He did well with Mainstream, but it will probably depend on how he does with Lesnar that will determine if he sticks around. And thanks for the comments about the Women's Division. I've been trying to do more with the undercard (like La Amapola / Psicosis and Ms Chif / Hemme), but my only real contenders for the title are Vicky, Gail and Alexis. Ms Chif is on her way, but isn't ready yet, and Trish I'm only using sparingly. Kong I just can't figure out what to do with, but I think I may have something that could work, so we will see. [B]Ted Hard, Chad Malenko and Sean Waltman[/B] vs Billy Kidman and The Million Dollar Dreams They have to cheat a win out here, or else both of these fueds begin to look one sided. Scott Hall vs [B]Claudio Cash[/B] This is against my better judgement. If you are building hall up, than this is a good squash match for him, but at this point a win here does way more for claudio's carrer, and help establish him as the stand out in his tag team. [B]Raven[/B] vs Christopher Daniels Chris could win here, but the build up says Raven gets this win, as he becomes more and more of a contender. and a strong loss to Raven probably still helps out Chris.

[B]Ted Hart, Chad Malenko and Sean Waltman[/B] vs Billy Kidman and The Million Dollar Dreams If memory serves me right, Malenko and Hart need a win and the dreams called them out a little bit the other week, a good way to build momentum for Hart/Malenko against the dreams. Scott Hall vs [B]Claudio Cash[/B] Maybe a D/Q win for Claudio, i cant see a clean win happening but i can imagine Scott getting frustrated or Kevin Nash botching interference. [B]Raven[/B] vs Christopher Daniels If Christopher Daniels could beat Raven without the masked men, well we wouldnt need the masked men! Raven gets the win to continue building him up.
