He has been injured for the past few weeks, injured in the tournament to crown a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion by none other then Adam Pearce. Danielson defeated Pearce, but was not cleared to wrestle in the final against Brent Albright, and was replaced by Pearce.[/LEFT] [LEFT]The NWA has always stated that Danielson would get an opportunity to capture the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and has now granted him an anytime, anywhere, title shot![/LEFT] [LEFT]Danielson is not yet at 100%, and will be on a limited schedule for the next few weeks. No word on when he will decide to take advantage of his title shot.[/LEFT]

[B]Claudio Castagnoli[/B] defeated [B]Ryan Cruz[/B] (C+) and [B]The Amazing Kong[/B] defeated [B]Alex Wright[/B], [B]Al Katrazz[/B] and [B]Incognito[/B] in a four-way match-up (D-). [*]The NWA was less then happy with [B]Bryan Danielson's[/B] return to wrestling last night. It was, however, considered a warm-up match to get him back in the ring. Still no word on when he will cash in his title shot.[/LIST]On a personal note, this will be my last posting on [B]Behind the Booth[/B]. The company and I have decided to part ways. The decision was mainly fuelled by money, as the NWA thought Matthews was asking to much, feeling he had some value as an in-ring performer. Unfortunatly, the Board of Directors felt the money would be better invested in a more skilled person serving as an play-by-play man. [*]Speaking of new additions to the broadcast booth, no word on who will be a permanent replacement, although an interim person will be found by next week. [*]Finally, the NWA is pleased to announce that [B]Ted Hart[/B] has joined the promotion, and will be wrestling dark matches very soon.[/LIST]Well, that's all for now.
