Jacko00
What is taking in to account when a fighter tells you who he would like to fight?
Adam Ryland
Weight class, reputation, previous matches, pro-record, current status. The things you'd expect.
James Casey
Are fighers reasonable in their suggestions, or can you have no-name debutants wanting to fight your big stars?
Adam Ryland
Depends what you mean by reasonable - you have to remember that they're not there to give you booking ideas, they're giving you their opinions on who they want to fight. A guy with no name value who is on a winning streak, has confidence, and thinks he'd like the chance to take on a relatively big name may well suggest that as a match. It's probably not a great booking idea, so in that respect it's not a "reasonable booking suggestion", but it's perfectly reasonable from the point of view of what he wants from his career.
